  1. Maybe so, but the fact still remains the price of crude oil saw price increases that would have made Saddam proud. I'll agree that even educated (smart) people are just as capable to doing stupid things as anyone else. But unfortunately it was our "foreign policy" that got us into this mess to start with. Come to think of it, there's not a whole lot you can do with stupid because there's not much there to work with... Seriously though, a conspiracy of this scale would have involved too many people to pull it off to remain a "secret plot" for long. But I better understand all the reaso
  2. Hey sis, it was an honor to discuss these issues with you. I point by point responded to your last post but it timed out during research and all was lost. It's true there's nothing anything any of us can do to change the past but for what it's worth I care. It's much eaisier to travel a downhill path in life than it is an uphill path in life. Yeah, our conversation has become too long and detailed and I feel that out of respect we should allow others to debate this subject also. Maybe in the future we'll meet again and discuss the points made, preferably one at a time. Until then, take care. p
  3. I'll give you 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count... And all it say's is "she think she is smart" over and over, what a dumb response. I predict they'll have to learn about women the hard way so look for more of this in the future, because when mamma aint happy, aint nobody happy.
  4. Again, your attempting to portray that no one is capable of thinking or doing anything on thier own without the boogymans help or involvement. Your also saying america should have intervened and had knowledge of an Iraqi internal affair. Shame on us for not becoming involved, next breath shame on us for becoming involved. I think I'm getting a headache. Well I never thought of my country as some kind of superhero, more like a babysitter or janitor. Saddam was abused as a child by his adoptive parents and this led to psycopathic behavior as an adult. Anyhow, most of the oil sold by Iraq today
  5. Oops, my mistake, please forgive me. lol@me! I wouldn't know about that, I'm to poor to visit other countries. But yeah, I try to keep things as simple as possible. No need to overcomplicate the discussion. What your observing is, in general, that women are more detail oriented than men. That's why we try so hard not to argue with you... Actually no, the Taliban did not crash planes into buildings. He may not have been a Taliban member, just recuited (maybe through threats to his families and loved ones lives) to do thier bidding. After giving this some thought, I realized that sea
  6. Yep, this day and age about anything can be hoaxed and spoofed. I noticed his beard went from grey to black in 3 years. Oh the vanity... Ever play hot potato? Well I guess he could have went to Kuwait or Saudi Arabia... Sorry bro, the logic isn't there. Feared by most, loved by few would be closer to the truth. Care to elaborate on that? In the mountainous tribal regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan it shouild be easy to find people? Anyways, if I had to guess I would say OBL is no longer with us. Well after reviewing the pdf link you gave as evidence, my heart is truely saddened b
  7. Same to you, it can be stressfull. You forgot fertilizer, albeit the wrong kind, and it wasn't gasoline it was diesel fuel. He had second thoughts, that's why it never happened imo. Actually the headlines here say "Times Square Bomb Scare" Typing in a Google search using "Times Square Bombings" produces these results: MyLink You said it best, difference of opinion. And what if we are neither... then what? I couldn't help but notice that most of the news sources in the pdf link you provided were French, Russian, Turkish, British, German, Former Soviet states like Uzebeckistan etc. Good gri
  8. True, and I'm not sure of the legalities of it, but you might want to take a look at the comments it has generated.
  9. Freedom of speech and expression is a right, but using it to incite hatred constitutes abuse of that right.
  10. Sorry to keep you waiting. I've been looking for work and that has taken up alot of my time. People here aren't "scared". However it has given national security a good reason to tighten the rules. The lastest Tiimes Square bombing attempt was by an individual whom I feel purposely botched it because he either had seconds thoughts about it or/and his family and loved ones lives were threatened if he didn't comply and go through with it. Kinda hard to play the race card when talking about religion, even though the 2 sometimes go hand and hand. But in all honesty I can't recall any headlines
  11. Creating a client state through the barrell of the gun rarely works. It may work for a while but In the end the people will have their way. I agree they won't succeed with Iraq or Afghanistan in doing so. Many have tried in the past, all have failed. History will only repeat itself in this regard until the people of those countries find thier own way to govern themselves. But don't look for the blockheads here to realize that anytime soon. The definition of a blockhead is the same as an idiot: "repeatedly trying the same thing over and over expecting a different result". The nagging question
  12. The real reason, I believe, is because Saddam put a hit out on his daddy. Most of us were against it but that didn't stop him. By the way, what a relief it was when he left office!! Then they better get busy because that's a tall order to fill. Soon as "democracy" sets in, people are going to vote in who they want to run their country anyways. So all that plotting and planning they're supposedly doing will go right out the window come election time. Hi Devout, No, there never were any nuclear weapons. I can see now the long answer is in order, but I'll have to return later to address the
  13. If 9/11 was a conspiracy and an inside job used as a pretext to invade Iraq, then evidence would have been planted to lead people to believe Saddam was behind the attack, not Saudi nationals.
  14. Actually the short answer is the american people brought this upon themselves (unintentionally). If you want the long answer it will take more time to explain than what I have at the moment.
  15. What part of "reporting no such thing" did you not understand? My own eyes tell me this, not the media.
