  1. How many of you have really explored the realm associated with cannabis (CAN-BIS = the cane of twos, male and female, smoke and fiber)..I think it could have quite a impact socially/economically/religiously. More than just the "tolerance" of those that use it but using it as a power and a symbol for the east. I can refer you to sources to back everything I am saying. arnt there passages in the quran that refer to "good things" "miracles" and ways to ponder and heal and have a sense of well-being from the love of Allah..well that is what it feels like. However if you truly believe against it, look at petrol, killing forests, nuclear energy, cancer from the same light and see the damage it does vs 0 deaths associated with cannabis such as overdose and trauma, actually helps epilepsy and sleeping aide. probably cant drive on the highway but can trot on a horse just finely I had found somewhere that the collector of Bihar Ul Anwar, Shiekh Majlisi had written about cannabis or that it was a commonly used thing in the Eastern world before western media and slander campaigns against it which tipped the world on its edge and can end poverty to a great length, i promise!ncings? The common notion is that cannabis/opium/tobacco/caffiene/cocaine/energydrinks/etc should all be hooked under the same list is kindof unfair. cannabis doesnt have to be fermented...its picked off the female plant and can bake it various safe ways and requires no chemicals, labs or syringes my friend. it will reveal the user to himself. the world is re-waking up to it. china was known as "The Land of Mulberry and Hemp" at the peak of its dynasties for a reason. All I pray is that somehow the Muslims find a way to take control of this ultra-revolutionary product and use it to change mankind..look at Israel and its projects on it and its adva
  2. -To what extent do you feel that the Shia muslims are united? Least United among the Muslims -What do you think are the main obstacles for unity among the Shia? alot of close mindedness, ahlul bayt preached logic -What solutions would you suggest for these problems? ya imam.. Like This
  3. Aslamunalaikum, "When Allah's succour and the triumph cometh And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops, Then hymn the praises of thy Lord, and seek forgiveness of Him. Lo! He is ever ready to show mercy." I question why does Allah say a triumph when in the following the years after this Surah, these troops are to be agents against the Ahlul bayt and for the Khalifa according to Shia. Will they be forgiven?
  4. sayeds are not to do mutah? cite your source sir!
  5. Hey man, my name is muhammad. i was born muslim and i find it very intriguing how u find the quran perfect 100%. i find it hard to read and harder to understand. i think if u could talk to me about how u reached the conclusion that it was perfect, it would really help renew my faith. thanks:)

  6. I was wondering if there was a muslim publication for shia students. maybe like magazines or websites with other muslims who have the same interests as you.
  7. such a situation would be insanely controversial.
  8. why Allah sugguest a marriage, and adoption and then breaking it so the prophet could marry.
  9. The prophet adopted a son named zaid. it was god's idea to make him be married to zaynab bint jahsh. the marriage was unsucccessful so the prophet put it upon himself to marry her and break the adoption in the process?? Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled i dont understand how that is morally acceptable. we find passages where we are given rules about marrying the wives of our adopted kids but not imamat (explicit verses like these). where is the logic
  10. be shia because of the following. god is one. if there is a god than he must be the epitome of what is good and just. to communicate he sends a representative on earth/ a nabhi. to preserve the religion u must believe there are imams that we can look to for guidance, that are infallible. one day you will be judge for you actions and ur conduct on earth.. plain and simple if you cannot agree with this, you cannot be shia. on the quesiton regarding 12th imam. i dont know him but maybe he working on something, maybe he isnt real but the truth is we need gods calipha on earth at all times. sunnis do not have a calipha and the ismailis calipha does not display conduct that i would attribute to the prophet of islam.
  11. what are your opinions about him?
  12. i would rather have a daughter who tells me she is engaging in muta than one that goes behind my back and engages in watever. you would be suprised how many of ur kids have bf/gfs. especially with phones and facebook now..i think the ummah, atleast shias shld embrace muta regardless of what other muslims say.
