  1. If you miss a namaz on its alloted time (like if you miss the fajar namaz if you didnt get up on time) then the 'due' namaz which you have missed will have to be offered as a Qaza namaz. The niyyat of the of a Qaza namaz is the same as that of a regular namaz except you have to mention in the niyyat that the namaz you're gonna do right now is qaza.
  2. Because the Mahdi (as) is the leader of ALL humanity, not just Shias.
  3. Im moot on Tawassul. Allama Tabatabai did not agree with it. But there are traditions from Imams the Imams that tell us was the the souls of the dead are not cut off from the world. They can visit their loved ones. And God does not deny anyone's prayer. They could pray for you just like you pray for them.
  4. Russia has been sort of proven right on Libya and again in the Syrian opposition has been proven to be mostly Al Qaida takfiris which was what they were saying all along. The UN report says that Chemical weapons have been used on both civilians AND the Syrian army, and American Journalist Seymour Hersh has also shown that Al Qaida had chemical weapons which was also something that Russia and the Syrian government had been saying all along. It was in the opposition interest to provoke and american attack on Syria. American intervention is the only was they can win.
  5. And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah , "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. Al Baqarah 154 Bravo, you ask whether people Tawassul are mushrik but have no problem going against the Quran yourself.
  6. What do you think of the events in Bangladesh and the punishing of JI leadership for 1971 war crimes?
  7. PYONGYANG, December 9 05:39 KST (KCNA) — A report on the enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) was released on December 8. The following is the full text of the report: An enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK was held in Pyongyang, the capital of the revolution, on Dec. 8. Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK, guided the meeting. Present there were members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK. 8. "This is the secret of wealth; find the starving and destitute, pay them half a crown, and make them produce five shillings worth in the day, amass a fortune by these means, and then increase it by some lucky hit, made with the help of the State. Need we go on to speak of small fortunes attributed by the economists to forethought and frugality, when we know that mere saving in itself brings in nothing, so long as the pence saved are not used to exploit the famishing? Take a shoemaker, for instance. Grant that his work is well paid, that he has plenty of custom, and that by dint of strict f
  9. From what I've read of them the Alawites dont think its necessary to have a physical ritual of prayer. They're an ultra-esoteric sect. Bashar is just praying the Sunni way out of respect for the majority of his citizens. Doesnt mean hes stopped being an Alawite.
  10. Non-prophets can get divine communications, the Quran says so.
  11. ^Plus Umar who claimed the Quran was enough for him during the calamity of thrusday said in later life "if Ali (as) has not been there Umar would have been ruined". Obviously the Quran want enough for him and he had to rely on Ali (as) despite his haughty boast before the prophet.
  12. I've heard similar thing from Punjabis from Bakkhar and Jhang. It seems true since Punjab was the center of Sunni violence against Shias in the 80s and they leaned to arm themselves, I think the Shias of Quetta and Karachi will also arm themselves like the ones from Punjab.
  13. Why dont you two become Zaydi? it'll be an improvement.
  14. [Yusufali 19:16] Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East. [Yusufali 19:17] She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. [Yusufali 19:18] She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah." [Yusufali 19:19] He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son. [Yusufali 19:20] She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not u
