Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (peace be upon him and his family) Said: Affliction caused by the tongue is worse than the strike of the blade of a sword.

Amir al-mu'minin Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib (عليه السلام) said: Allah, the Glorified, has laid down reward for obedience to Him and punishment for committing sins against Him in order to save men from His chastisement and to drive them towards Paradise.

Imam Hassan ibn Ali (عليه السلام) Said: Treat others similar to the way you would like for them to treat you

Imam Hussain ibn Ali (عليه السلام) Said: Speech is like medicine; a small dose of which cures and excess kills the patient.

Imam Ali ibn Hussain (عليه السلام) Said: Opportunity is something which is quick to vanish and late to return.

Imam Muhammad Ibn Ali (عليه السلام) Said: To attach the heart to what is present is association (shirk), and to what is not there is disbelief (kafr): these are the wings of heedlessness.' I am amazed at anyone who claims to be a slave to Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì and then contends with Him over His decrees. Content gnostics ('arifin) are far from being like that.

Imam Jaffar ibn Muhammad As Sadiq (عليه السلام) said: Fasting kills the desire of the self and the appetite of greed

Imam Musa Ibn Jaffar (عليه السلام) said: Comprehend and understand the religion of Allah, for jurisprudence is the key to vision and the completion of worship and the cause of reaching the lofty grades and magnanimous stations in the world and in the hereafter.
Imam Ali ibn Musa Al Reza (عليه السلام) said: Tolerance, knowledge and silence are the signs found in a jurisprudent
Imam Muhammad Ibn Ali (عليه السلام) said: And forbearance is the dress of scholar so do not get yourself dressed off it
Imam Ali Ibn Muhammad (عليه السلام) said: The one who considers himself to be safe from the planning of Allah and his painful chastisement and wrath commits arrogance till His divine will catches hold of him. And His ordinance gets implemented.
Imam Hassan Ibn Ali (عليه السلام) said: Refrain and avoid fame-seeking and striving for power, as these two invite man towards annihilation.

Imam Al Mahdi ibn Hassan (عليه السلام) said: Then nothing keeps us away from them except that they attach to us what we dislike
