  1. Its Shatrang: A game of chess. The people in the street are just pawns - expendable fodder for the big guns of the ruling elite. That's always been the case.
  2. That's ok.....I appreciate you doing you bit to refute stupid accusations on these other forums. Baseej is a part-time militia ...only 90,000 of them are full-timers. They can volunteer as individuals if they wish, but noone forces them to anything that is not related to their miliatary and security responsibilities. Indeed, in this election, the commander of the baseej warned them to stay out of any political activities. I don't know. I would have thought that they can take a relative who is literate. What do they do in Pakistan? Yes, that's the whole point....whether you could wash off the ink and drive to another polling center is a possibility: its difficult to see how can stop double voting in any election if you can vote at different centers. If it is true about the Ink, then there should be no way possible that birth Certificates could be used illegally as the writer of this article claims.
  3. IRANDOOST is not a real name. It just means "lover of Iran" and there is no such surname .
  4. No, he meant the illiteracy rate which is about 20%. The question is whether the illiterates' preferences were changed by election staff. The point is that even if these irregularities did exist in previous elections, they don't appear to have determined the outcome of any of them. That's the crucial point. I think we do need changes to the election law and procedure but this must be something with future elections, not this one in mind.
  5. Mehdi Khalaji of the AIPAC-funded Washington Institute for Near East policy has made the following claims about the possibility of fraud in this election. I'd like your views. My own is that all of the alleged sources of fraud would have been present in previous elections, the actual result of the count was NEVER disputed, including three nationwide elections held under Ahmadinejad for the Majlis, municipalities and Assembly of experts. http://www.thecuttingedgenews.com/index.php?article=11394
  6. I AM GOING TO PRETEND TO BE A DISSIDENT AND CLAIM LOTS OF $$$$$$$$ IN FACT, LET'S ALL PRETEND WE ARE.
  7. IRREGULARITY: receiving billions of rials from Hashemi to fiance your campaign. Who does Mousavi think he is fooling?
  8. That's what the Guardians council said: let's have 10% of ballots counted before TV and the press. I would go one step further. Check each fingerprint on the ballot and allow voters to check online whether their vote was counted properly. You could enter your unique ID number and it would then show you who you voted for.
  9. And he supported Khatami. Ansari is a horrible, little man. Check out this interview with Professor Marandi http://www.guernicamag.com/interviews/506/...merican_studie/ He was born and raised in America.
  10. Forget the panel! WE NEED A RECOUNT TELEVISED BEFORE OUR EYES!
  11. Then why did he participate in this election if he claim it was rigged months in advance???
