  1. what;s with the sig? reference to the admin?

(the above was actually what prompted me to post in that thread but it slipped my mind by the time i had completed writing - i know, sign of aging *sigh* - and so i decided to comment here instead).

  2. I read this story. The language used was, well best to describe as typical of classical literature. While reading it with concentration you do feel your self absorbed into it, the pages of the book and the story. It was a tragedy no doubt about that but the story was quite beautiful I must say. I was immersed in the pages and felt my self a part of it. It definitely is a book I recommend to others as well, who want to read something of such a nature. Also the illustrations of the book were pretty amazing, scenes from some other time and place when the world was young and the air was fresh, an

  4. It is a case of a Munafiq country with no principles and false secularism with all tolerance for all forms of " Donkey Religion " is there but non for the true one. Don't know why so rotten they are? Besides are all Sunnis over there as bad as that? They say Saudis are just wild Bedouin's and Camel riders, shepherds of the desert the only difference is that now these scum bags have a bit of oil and money, same is the case with these Malaysian's they are the wild men of the forest who would normally loiter nude in the jungles or wear what could not be called clothes, but for some accident of
  5. Well he didn't actually say Kafir, but really a Hypocrite, which is quite understandable. Besides as far as judging others is concerned well look at it this way, don't the Salafis or Deobandis Say that to qualify as a Muslim you should not have changed the kalimah or the testimony to faith, but the thing is their ignorance is stark nude exposed when the real Shahada didn't even contain mention of the Prophet of Islam and the "Mohamed un Rasool Allah" part was added by Muslims much later on. So when they are passing their judgement in a way which is Steeply against Shia's, then as A Shia I can
  6. That sums it up clearly, besides Whabis incorporated are famous for their rudeness and misbehaviour along with many other repulsive charachteristics.
  7. So much for Muslim Unity, if any one talks of it such a person if you ask me is an inhabitant of a fools paradise. It was in retaliation, then so many Radical Sunnis are there who blame Shias for every thing that happens wrong with them, citing it as an excuse for all manner of atrocities against Shias. Any ways why was the person who started this topic banned, he was just telling the truth was he not, besides these palestinians are a fruitless bad investment. Also I am pretty shure it will go unreported in the media, as the media has other more seriously sinister and heinious jobs and dirt
  8. Are you accessing it from Pakistan like I am as well? Because that message of being not availaible is coming and that u see it says blocked in your country on copy right grounds, then I was thinking that it might be accessible in other countries. I saw it on Tv so I got to like it. Any one from US trying to see it, does it work?
  9. This is one of my favorite documentaries I hope you like it as well. It is pretty interesting and informative, at least is a good past time option. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/p/501D3F88257789BB?hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/p/501D3F88257789BB?hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/p/501D3F88257789BB?hl=en_US&fs=1" type="

  11. Define and elaborate what you mean by scholarly? At least I hope that in this attempt of yours you do nothing stupid and blur the lines between blasphemy and scholarly. Besides the tradition regarding how Umar(la) was Introduced to her is so vulgar that as a self respecting Shia I could not add it to my beliefs, regardless of how you may want me to do so. Besides even if it is true then what are we supposed to do about it. May I know on what date it happened and what was the Dowry consisting of and who witnessed the Nikah actually take place? Oh yes and actually the point raised from our si
  12. Well from my understanding after reading what is said on this following link I am unable to accept this Nikah thing http://www.answering-ansar.org/answers/umme_kulthum/en/chap2.php Now even if it did happen what points do the people who preasent this before us acheive over us or what do they want to proove. Ayesha Married the prophet but she was unable to bear him any children. Even if Umar Married Umm-e-Kulsoom what are we supposed to do about it? Also Ayesha's rank is nothing as compared to that of Khadija. Also logically speaking there was not only just one woman of the same name in the wh
  13. Dear Friends Happy Eid-e-Ghadeer to you all I want to know about this book by the title of Behishti Zewar. Why is it so controversial. Also to what sect exactly does it belong to and who wrote it was it the work of one person or a group effort. Also what is it about and what does it contain. There have been various allegations against it of Obscenity and indecency etc are they true? Also why do conservative and orthodox Sunnis spare no effort to attack this book on allegations of indecency? I just want to know the exact truth of the matter and the contents of the book?
  14. Ok Ok so I get it like the person involved in the 1857 uprising Mr Mangal Pandey was actually Salafi. Any ways how did the tribe convert to Salafi stuf and prior to the conversion what were they. Honestly If you ask me if the Pashtoon awoke and realised the futility of their ways which result in nothing but them being used as a vernier for conflicting political interests then hopefully if they learned a lesson then prior to the rising of the next Dawn there would have occured a positive revolution of benificial concequence for all. Also what does it mean that the Shia are not listening to the
  15. But none the less the entire issue involving Madhab has a terribly strong under current to it, which threatnes to rip apart the cohesiveness and traditional or ideal charachter once it raises its ugly head. As far s getting attracted to the Vahahhaabeee Ideology is concearned then in a country like England for frustrated and dissilusioned Sunni Youth it is quite easy. The reasons are besides Funding and proppaganda being easily availaible, the envioronment is quite stressfull and they have to face a certain degree of injustice and discrimination from various quarters like state or society etc.
