    In the case if you are trying it out;
you should focus on: beatingyourself, believing in intercession and visiting shrines lol lol.
You should focus on reasons why a human and not a shia would cry for the imam (As) and the event of karbala. Its's not hard to feel the pain if your heart is soft enough (this requires abit of work on being a decent humble human being).
You could Try going to a shrine to see if you feel warmth and peace from it. even traveling is good,  this world is made out of love for the prophet (saw) and ahlubeit (saw) anything is possible even without visiting the shrines. But Worth a shot.
Try accepting the idea of intercession. Not by force but a maybe, theres no harm in it, unless you're too worried and depressed about losing youre deep beliefs. Im sure its not the end of the world to give it a good thought lol. Starting From understanding simple basics like when you're ill you go to the created for help not the creator this is human nature and the process, then to deeper understanding through hadiths.
Muslims worry soo much about the greed of heaven or the fear of hell that they lose being human. They read verses and feel they own religion and want to debate it.
Imam (as) said three types of worshippers, a man that worships in attaining heaven is like the wage earner, then theres a man who worships out of the fear of hell and allahs wrath is like a slave/prisoner, finally there is the man who worships out of love, he is like a freeman, freeman is the best of all worshippers.
Either you've tried being a sunni and not happy with it and looking elsewhere or you're satisfied with being sunni but just want to take the mick lol.
My Advice would be dont be too harsh on your self to win heaven and distant from hell, give yourself a true chance, you won't get many. Go beyond you're own expectations change youre inner thoughts, reset them. You don't have to be labled shia if you feel more towards the ahlubeit (as) as men label other men alot of things which are un-true. For all you know you could be a true shia in this forum and the rest who claim being shia may be no where near it.

Everyone is involved in worship that seems to them to be true worship but alot of it is worldly worship.
People have all kinds of knowledge and specialise in many fields. We have big scholars, knowledgeble personalities of hadiths, quran. Even with all these it still is not enough.
The inner contact to your lord is what is needed. Everyone's inner contact is on their own level, this is what separates a true believer from the rest. The love, the awareness, the Contact within oneself plays a very important.

man is required to search for truth, from a person of truth. how can one seek knowledge only from enemies and books alone.. Today we are all given names of marajas to follow, names of soo much fame,. its almost as if the shia world believes these chosen men by men are the only ones to follow and there is no more? ? ? ? and if this question is raised, you are seen as blind as these men are the only men the poor shias can choose from. marajas are on tv, net, books,,news, radios and it seems this is the only way to find the truth? ? ? if religion was that easy and the men of truth were soo easy to find  then you may call this heaven on earth, no effort is made by men of today, you pick and choose from a list of names as any are fine and away you go ? ?, truth?? truth is always hidden and very difficult to find. If  a man is chosen by imam (saw) to be a leader then he could be anywhere in this world whether a poor country or rich, it is more then wajib to search for him for the truth and to become part of the truth, submitting, giving your allegiance and imitating is a huge risk for thy soul alone. search for the truth even if you need to travel to china,

Oh sorry i got my wires twisted, wel i agree malangs are living in a world of dreams, they feel they know things that others do not, but the truth is, they only know general knowledge just like the rest of the puvblic, what can their peers teach them? nothing more then a few traditional practices and that ali (saw) is Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì. And then its just tabarra on the rest fot he world. They have no understading of the truth, nor do asoolis, or akhbaris or anyone who reads these boosk online and learns from mujthahids. All this is geenral knowledge even a hindu, christian can google all what these sects know of.
The truth is with a syed from his syeds

alialiali got a reaction from Tany in This Story About Nusrat F.a. Khan Is It True?
this was spread in pakistani papers by wahabi/sunnis years ago,. just propaganda against true shias, have a carful look. the wife has a dream, just becuse of a dream the muslim community went out going against islamic laws they dig up a burried muslims body, did these reporters not feel the need to note that it was incorrect for these muslims to dig up a muslim body in the first place?? what was the intention behind it? to have a look if hes, ok? lol hes dead how ok will he be? what help or what were they planning to do? the tongues of these fantasized people who pulled out a burried muslims body should be pulled out an wrapped around their own necks. azaab of the grave is what they call it, it is the azaab of the soul, not the body which will decompose, as tauheed says, he (swt) extracted us from the soils and we then will return back to the soils, he (swt) then will raise us again from the soils on qayama.
these kinds of fabricated, lies, stories are not new theres many more, the nusrat story of the grave was widely spread and everyone kne it was a lie,,,
i did come across this story of a boy for example
    http://islamgreatreligion.wordpress.com/2009/07/25/punishment-of-Allah-azab-e-qabar-not-for-weak-heart/
this boy was said to have been bad not prayed, after 3 hours his body was removed whyyy??? islamically? to help him??? hes dead...... how can these humans help?
anyways these muslims again judged a muslim, a real (could be fake) decomposed body, now only god knows if he was a momin or not. people are using him as an example, a scare story for muslims, but yet all this hate spread about this poor boy became soo popular, he could have been the best of the best and could be heaven bound, the physical body could have decomposed due to the conditions of the grave, could have been an illnesss, there are no before pics, there is simply no evidence, but yet these muslims love to judge all over the world, telling others how bad he was and look at the consequences.
Nusrats grave was never dug, pack of lies, the azaab is on the soul as we know it, the body whether remains untouched or not is another story itself....
packs of lies,,,, only god can judge...
sorry i may have many mistakes in my typings, im in a rush... lol

the only thing is, these claims that you have placed about these specific aytullahs isn't a unique claim (of being able to have tayy al-ardh) i have heard this all the time about aytullahs, it's almost as if a aytulahs claim to have this type of knowledge and gift all the time.
according to the statement made by that aytullah about even satan can do this, shows that doing such thing if it is for real can be done by the lowest of all creatures, thats interesting. If this is the case and this is all for real, especially comming from an aytullah, why cannot they reveal the secrets or help people openly, i mean even satan the worst of all has this ability according to the aytullah mentioned?

its ashame of what one witnesses these days from our shia people just giving reason for ant-shia groups to attack shias.

janath is under a mothers feet... they didnt scream about this or make a video lol.

the imams (saw) are the owners of janah, it is mentioned throne of Allah in the video, have to make a point here, Allah is not the throne but seperate from it, the speakers mention only throne.

secondly why do men in shiasm mention maulas (saw) slippers, are you shias not aware of the pure ones (saw)? are these shias lacking belief and losing understanding of purity by pointing towards an area of imams (saw) body and clothing implying it not pak/clean/infaliable? nauzbillah. are the men who use this term for the infallable imam (saw) not lowering the status of the imam (saw) knowingly or not?

every part of the imam (saw) is pure/paak/like the quran, so shias should stop saying things like this as it implies they are trying to show some level of impurity rather then respect and spirituality. imam (saw) is pure full stop, heavens are under your mothers feet the owners of jannah are the infallables, why is it such a surprise that these infallables are above the throne of Allah swt the speakers are not saying above Allah swt but above the throne itself.now you have to find out what this throne really means in the first place....

alialiali got a reaction from Waiting for HIM in What is the importance of being syed?
    the difference physically

syeds can trace their lineage normally without a problem and generally can name their fathers, forefathers all the way back to prophet muhamad (saw, note he (saw) is above all other prophets including adam) and further up the chain and its almost gaurenteed forefathers were muslims with islamic halal marrages mashallah how beautifull is that. With non syeds this is a very difficult task as further you go back from their family tree if there is even a tree, there will be a point where the generations would be non muslims, with unislamic relations, its pretty rare for a non syed to have a family tree going back 1400 years or even to a point of when his/her forefathers reverted to islam, where as a syed will provide you with proof that his/her entire genertion going all the way back to prophet (saw) to have been muslims Allah akber, i did however meet a person who claimed to be a decendant of abu bakr with a family tree but didnt get to see the proof unfortunately.  Anyways even a basic overview shows a huge difference physically syeds originally decend from only muslims and non syed muslims are from reverted decendants.

This again does not make a syed better then a non-syed or one higher then the other, it also doesn't make a syed pure and heaven worthy, but it shows there is a difference somwhere, just like taking zakat being haram on a syed and halal for a non syed, why? this isn't equality? this shows theres a line between the two somwhere common sense identifies this only an arogant veil hearted soul can argue of no difference in the two.

respect one another, your family your neigbours, your elders your young ones your mothers, fathers your siblings.

the prophet (saw) also specified and said to the worlds to respect his syeds,  mashallah.

im proud to be a shia muslim, alhumdlillah, im also proud to be from a family who are shia muslims, aren't you? syeds have a right to be proud of their forefathers just like a father can be proud for his sons vice versa, mashallah,

is right and what is wrong, these sects are wel known to the outside world, just google about the bohras and you will get all answers to their darkest of beliefs.nothing special
why do you people feel that these wel known sects are the only sects that exist ansd the truth is walked upon one of them?,
there maybe a sect not known to the shia sunni world, the true knowledge is not in these fabricated books but rather these books can be corrected by it, It is your fate to where and whom you follow, what you feel seems the truth and what you are made to vbelieve or even somtimes lie to yourself to feel its the truth. Hope is your imam (saw) and you have been given directions to your own levels, follow maula (saw) without causing any form of disrespect and you shall be fine, but the path of the truth is there if yur lucky you will be born from it and be part of it.....

if i was you i'd be carfull before going into shia books just like you are when going into sunni and other religious content from other faiths, just like many religions, shias also have sects within shia islam,
remember to be free, like sunnis somtimes call them selves just a muslim, become just a muslim as you are on your own in this world, the shias are mainly the asooli shias who are mainly on this site who beilieve in choosing a religious leader out of many from their own judgment or maybe with help to imitate these scholars known as taqleed, these leaders are called marjas, very highhly educated, then there are non asooli shias who say we are free from imatating (taqleed) and not to imitate a man who is not an imam (saw), you have the akbari movment within shias who are almost like non asooli shias, but appose the asooli shias vice versa, you have malang shias who follow alot of traditions past down from father to son and imitate (taqleed) of their own scholars, these are just a few basic out lines, the views do differ from each group of the status and understanding of prophethood and imamath.
so research into these before going blindly into books

god has no partner, nor mother or father,,, he does not starve? nor does he feel hunger, or desire, he is nor female or male, he has no scent or smell, how can god love or become angry? he does not pain? nor does he die , he is everywhere without being part of anything? he creates and recreates from his own will and destroys from his own too?
if we as humans starve and fast then how will god judge us on the day of judgment when he himself cannot do any of what we do????? is he not then limited in the sense meaning he cannot have a partner or starve? if we say he feels hunger or he can feel hunger if he wants we then break the rules of tauheed.......
    so does god really exist??
