  1. (salam) bro go to syria and c their palaces and all their buildings and their graves situated near the sewers wasalam
  2. (salam) The thing that drives me nuts the most is that they put ppl like this on top of Ahlul Bayt (as) . Even though many sunnis accept Ali, Hassan and Husayn (as) they do not really heed any attention to them. Me being a former sunni i swear i can remember never hearing anyone from Ahlul Bayt (as) being mentioned once during a sermon. The thing i'd like to say to our sunni brothers is that Ahlul Bayt (as) were the closest to the Prophet (pbuh) and they were the bravest. When Imam Al Husayn (as) saw his companions die in Karbalaa by the hands of the Umayyad government he did not flee and none of his companions fled either. Another thing i'd like to say is that in many online islamic debates i see sunnis blaming shias for the death of Husayn (as) . Now id also like to say that Im from teh country of Banu Umayya and i know how sunnis are. The majority of them admit that Yazid la3anahullah killed Husayn (as) but he had made a mistake. The same goes with some of the Prophets actually sahaba (ra) who wer ekilled by Muawiya. In syria, although i cant recall the name there is one of the sahaba (accepted by shia and sunni) and on his grave it says his name with the inscription of (ra) then it says that he was killed by Muawiya with a (ra) beside his name too.. LOL i find that both funny and hypocritical. Wasalam
  3. Another one... The Prophet (pbuh) said: "After my death, dont retrogress to infediletly, some of you killing others. I leave behind among you what will never let you go astray if you cling to them: The Book of Allah and my progeny; my household." Tirmidhi, Nisa'i, Ahmad bin Hambal, Hakim (in the Al-mustardak) Ps. sometimes i do not put the pg. # since there are different editions of these books
  4. (salam) These hadiths come frmo authentic sunni books and they cannot be denied because if they are denied then every single hadith should be denied. Zaid bin Arqam said: "Indeed, the Apostle of Allah (pbuh) said to Ali (as) , Fatimah (as) , Hassan (as) and Husayn (as) : 'I fight against those who fight you and i make peace with those who make peace with you.' " Ibn Sabbagh Maliki, al-Fusul al-Muhimma fi Ahwal al-A'imma Now one question...who fought Imam Ali (salam) in Jamal??? Think about it. I have read the same hadith in sahih el bukhari so if any brother finds it inshallah he may post it.
  5. (as) This hadith is in sahih el bukhari Volume 1, Book 5, Number 250: Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot called 'Faraq'.
  6. P.S: Please remember to reflect on the second question...
  7. (salam) Brother syed rehan I was just explaining why we think that these narrations are not true. You can show as many as you want but thats not what I asked. What I asked were two simple questions which I want you or any other sunni brother to answer. Question 1 Question 2 (salam)
  8. (salam) That's exactly what I think. They fasted on Ashura because it was a eid for them and they decided to pay some hadith makers to make this faulse hadith and add it to the traditions of the Prophet (pbuh).
  9. (salam) The sunni brothers use the following hadith to back this tradition up. Some traditions are found in Sunni books to the effect that the Prophet (s.a.w.) on migrating to Medina found the Jews fasting on the 10th of Muharram. He asked them why, and was told: "It is an auspicious day; it is the day when God delivered the children of Israel from their enemy (i.e. Pharaoh); and, therefore, Moses fasted on that day." The Prophet (s.a.w.) said, "I am worthier of Moses than you are." Thereupon, he fasted on that day and ordered (the Muslims) to fast. 1. al-Sahih of al-Bukhari, Vol.3; Egypt ed.; p.54 2. Mishkatul-Masabih; Delhi ed.; 1307 A.H.; p.l72 Now when we look at this hadith we see that there is something illogic in it. First of all the Jews had their own calendar and months. There is no logic in saying that they fasted on the 10th of Muharram - unless it could be proved that this date always coincided with a Jewish day of fast. Second of all, here is a point to ponder for the Muslims: The Prophet (s.a.w.) was sent with a religion to abrogate all previous religions and shari'ah. How was it that he deigned to imitate the custom of the Jews? I'm waiting for sunni brothers to answer this. (salam)
  10. (salam) This proves that the shias are the people who follow the real religion of Prophet Muhammad pbuh.
  11. Thank you brother for your answer. I respect the fact that you answer without insulting. May i know what school of though you follow if there is no problem. Wasalam
  12. (salam) I found a couple of sunni hadiths that talk about praying on turbah. Maybe this can help Inshallah. (bismillah) The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, "The earth has been appointed as a pure place of prostration (Sajdah)." The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) considered performing of Sajdah on other things besides earth to be detestable. It was seen of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) that his forehead and nose was smeared in mud due to Sajdah. He did not permit his companions to do Sajdah on anything else, as mentioned in some traditions. When these people complained that the sand of the Mosque was hot he told them to keep it in their hands to cool it and then do Sajdah on it. If it had been allowed to do Sajdah on other things they would never have asked, and the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) also would have advised them to do Sajdah on carpet or durry etc. (Musnad Ahmad Vol. 1, Pg. 388) Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: I saw Allah’s Apostle prostrating on mud and water and saw the mark of mud on his forehead. (Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Hadith 798) Maimuna said, "Allah’s Apostle was praying while I was in my menses, sitting beside him and sometimes his clothes would touch me during his prostration." Maimuna added, "He prayed on a Khumra (a small mat sufficient just for the face and the hands while prostrating during prayers). (Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Hadith 376) The turbah is considered to be (doubtlessly) absolutely pure and other surfaces may be of doubtful purity. Thus it is best to perform Sajdah on a turbah. And taking of mud from a blessed place is not an innovation in Islam. We see the faqih, Masrooq ibn Ajda (d. 62 AH). always carrying with him a piece of mud of Madinah, and he used to do Sajdah on it. As written in Ibne Abi Shayba’s book, "Al Musannif" in the chapter of ‘Those who pick up something from boat to do Sajdah.’ This tradition is related from two chains of narrators. Whenever Masrooq used to travel in a boat. He used to keep a lump of mud on which he did Sajdah. (Tabaqaatul Kubra Vol. 6, Pg. 79) It is apparent from the traditions that Allah the Almighty permitted the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and the Muslims to prostrate upon vegetation if it is not generally used for eating and weaving. So the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s) made for himself a Khumra. It was small piece knitted palm leaves. (Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1, Pg. 9, Kitabul Haiz) Wasalaam
  13. Oh ok then you have nothing to do with this thread brother. Wasalaam
  14. What I really wanted to know is your point of view on how shias build places of worship over graveyards.
  15. Honeslty plz answer. I want to hear something from our sunni brothers.
