  1. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In The Name of God, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful ASalaam 3leykoum, Just a quick question to the Brothers, I've never really come across this problem before, but if I wake up & it seems like I have had a wet dream and I don't really see evidence of it, but you see the clear liquid that you get before ejaculation do I have to perform ghusl? To my understanding I don't as I have not seen any evidence of it, but I'm not sure, as in I'm really uncertain whether I have ejaculated or not. Thanks Salaam.
  2. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the Name of God, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful, ASalaam 3leykoum Gee, where to begin. Okay lol Miami. Lebron, D-Wade and Bosh. Period. I think that on paper Lebron will be SF/PF but as seen last season now and all previous season of course he acts as a guard realistically too with most of the ball possession and making a lot of the plays racking up 7 assists per game avg. Now with the big 3 challenging the whole league, what's going to happen? I mean it's fair to say that they definately have the best offensive trio in NBA history possibly, but what about loose ties, like a proper PG? I mean Lakers, they have Fisher as PG, Kobe of course, Gasol, Bynum, Artest, Vougich(however you spell that :P), all of them are very competent players with no loss of efficiency or minimum. This will be interesting to see in the playoffs. ROFL and did anyone see artests post game interview?? LOL the funniest thing I swear I have every watched no joke, I'll post a link shortly. Thoughts on contenders for next seasons championship? My bet, definately Miami and Lakers of course. Celtics not so sure about now. Salaam
  3. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the Name of God, The Most Beneficent, The most Merciful Salaam 3leykoum, Umm...well generally speaking, most of the Muslim population in the whole of Sydney are scattered through the Western part of sydney. More particularly though, Earlwood has a good shi'a population with a beautiful mosque there too. Um...hmmm...hard to pin point any area, but also as mentioned above Auburn has an extremely high Muslim population, but kinda a dodgy area. It has lots of Turks and Lebs there too. Umm...Parramatta has a lot of Muslims, not a lot of them Shi'a, but nice Muslims yes, but again a dodgy area. Towards the western side, there are a lot of dodgy areas, it's sorta like the middle or lower middle class, mainly the clean nice areas are in the north shore of sydney, places liek st.ives, hornsby, etc. But they literally have like NO Muslim population unfortunately. Again just re-iterating most Muslims are scattered throughout the West. PM me if you have any more questions. Salaam 3leykoum.
  4. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the Name of God, The most Beneficent, The most Merciful Salaam 3leykoum, I was takling to a friend briefly and one of the things she said was that, by "rib" her view was that (and she backed this up with a qu'ranic verse which if I remember to ask her will post that verse here) that it meant that the the "heart" or "soul" of Adam (a.s) and similarly for the children, the were created all from the same soul. Salaam 3leykoum
  5. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the Name of God, The most Beneficent, The most Merciful ASalaam 3leykoum, I just wanted to double-check some facts as I want to get in the habit of salaatul layl. Would this be the proper method(?): 1. 8 Raka'at consisting of 2 raka'at salaat over 4 sets. Those being exactly the same as Fajr prayer, but just double checking this fact, it's mustahab in the first raka'at to recite al-Ikhlas after Fatihah then Kafiruun after the Fatihah in the second raka'at? Oh and my intention for all these salaat should all be under salatul layl, if I'm correct? 2. Next is two raka'at salaatul shaf'a. Simply consisting of the norm however second surah for first raka'at An-Nas then second raka'at Surah Falaq and there is no qunoot? Would this be correct? 3. Then Salaatul Witr which consists of Sura al-Hamd. Sura al-Ikhlas (#112) 3 times Sura al-Falaq (#113) 1 time Sura an-Nas (#114) 1 time then qunoot, I won't go into detail of the method as it's quite long and I'm not doubtful of this. Then after qunoot finish with Salaam and that's it, salaatul layl is completed. Also double checking the first 8 raka'at is with the intentino of salatul layl then next 2 are salatul shaf'a then last is salatul witr. Jazak Allah. May Allah guide us all and bless us and open the doors of mercy upon us.
  6. happy sweet 16th. Make sure you celebrate it well :)

    HAPPY B'DAY 2 U...

  8. Happy Birthday bro! ^_^ Keep the great posts coming. =) (and they haven't been coming for sometime, lol)

    You're only sixteen? (0_0) Mashallah! =)

  9. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, In the Name of God, The most beneficent, The most Merciful. Salaam, Okay if you want to get into that discussion let's talk about the general perception of beauty please. Some may call it the shallow perception.
  10. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the Name of God, The most Beneficent, The most Merciful All Praise is due to Him AsSalaam 3leykoum to all Brothers and Sisters, Evidently some people are bestowed with more beauty then others...this beauty I'm particularly referring to is that kind of beauty that the average person is attracted to, i.e "oh look at the beautiful/handsome girl/guy on the street." So I've been thinking a tiny bit, can't do much thinking at nearly 3am or so :), but Allah (s.w.t) endows one with intellect for example, so that maybe this person can use his/her intellect to absorb knowledge and share this knowledge with others. But what about beauty? Some may say, one is created less than attractive because it is a blessing to prevent sins from the opposite sex and others may say one is created in beauty because it's a test for them....I've thought of some reasons myself and I'll share them later, I just want to get some different views here. Salaam to all.
  11. Bismillahir Ramanair Raheem In the Name of God, The most Beneficent, The most Merciful Wa 3leykoum Salaam Sister/Brother, Insh Allah you'll be endowed with wisdom, intellect and knowledge for your efforts. Salaam.
  12. salam alaikom

    thankyou for the birthdday wish

  13. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem ASalaam 3leyk Insh Allah you are all in the best of health. Just wondering, what is the most thought provoking, inspirational and mind-blowing movie (on like a spiritual, thought provoking sense, not action XD) you've seen. I'll list one for now, it's a french movie called "Les Choristes" I'll post the synopsis soon Insh Allah, for now I better go to sleep. Wa Salaam 3leyk
  14. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, The most Merciful Salaam 3leykoum Brother, Okay sorry about taking so long, yearly exams, didnt' realise they were so close. Anyway about the death this is taken from 3:156 "for God will cause such thoughts to become [119] a source of bitter regret in their hearts, since it is God who grants life and deals death. And God sees all that you do." As you see, even if we do manage to "create" life, it is only by God's will that this life does come about and only by God's will someone lives or dies. But let's say supposedly Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah, we were able to avoid God's will. Islam would immediately draw the line, so fast. It is up to Allah to judge when we live and die, by Islam of course. For the nanotech and stuff....hmm....that's a bit hard...I would guess it depends on the intention, e.g get metal arms, in order to kill or to help, I guess it would depend. But I guess generally Muslims wouldn't do it, unless for Jihad.... But ah.....if we put this into perspective, it's impossible we'll be able to avoid death, that's comparing our intelligence to God's infinite intelligence.....so impossible.... Cyborg stuff...don't think it'll really matter too much... Mash Allah May we all firmly hold onto the rope of guidance of Allah (s.w.t)
