When they draw your blood, look away or close your eyes, and think of pleasant thoughts : you are with a beautiful woman (your future wife) in a tropical island surrounded by green calm mountains, gushing waterfalls, sitting by warm beach and blue-green clear water and sing a song! Or whatever rocks your mind!

well, feminism isn't only about equality of/for women but equality for all, and ending oppression, violence, imperialism, both internally in one's personal life and externally in one's public life. It's also about having humility and discarding and standing against colonialist mentality and behavior, and being just and speaking truth to power. It's also about being conscious about one's own place in the world both locally and globally and how the nuances of that positionality impacts one's interaction and relationship with others, i.e., power relations.
However, there are a lot of people, women and also hijabis, who 'pretend' or 'show off' they are feminist just because its 'fad' to them but they really don't know the meaning of or how to be a feminist. And, if you look at some of these people's lives, you see their internal and external life and practices are in contradiction.
For example, I was at Diversity Center in Queens a couple of weeks ago, and a hijabi very arrogantly and rudely kept cutting into my conversations with people and trying to 'show off' something, I don't know what. But, this is what I call hijabi on hijabi violence. A feminist would not do that. Only a 'fake' feminist and an arrogant human being would engage in such behavior trying to 'show off'. The same person actually goes around in the external world, showing off again how they are anti-oppression and anti-imperialism, but they also banks with corporate banks that perpetuate oppression and imperialism in the world. Hence proving how they are only feminist by 'fad' but not in its true meaning and practice!
Islam is a feminist religion! What you all say?

    Bird
It was passed from one bird to another,
the whole gift of the day.
The day went from flute to flute,
    went dressed in vegetation,
in flights which opened a tunnel
    through the wind would pass
to where birds were breaking open
    the dense blue air -
    and there, night came in.
When I returned from so many journeys,
    I stayed suspended and green
    between sun and geography -
    I saw how wings worked,
    how perfumes are transmitted
    by feathery telegraph,
and from above I saw the path,
the springs and the roof tiles,
    the fishermen at their trades,
    the trousers of the foam;
I saw it all from my green sky.
    I had no more alphabet
than the swallows in their courses,
    the tiny, shining water
of the small bird on fire
which dances out of the pollen.
    Pablo Neruda
