  1. No he was not, but ethnicity played a large role in the Sunni-Shia split. Let's not forget how poorly non-Arabs( Persians in particular) were treated during Umayyad reign.

  7. Thank you brother Bektashis and Alevis, I am shocked I always knew they were ghulat groups but not to this extent and to think that they number in the millions in Turkey. I would have guessed that beliefs like this would belong to some obscure, forgotten sect but not such a large tariqah.
  8. I remember hearing some time ago of some tariqas that share the shirk belief of a trinity of Allah(swt), the Prophet(saw) and Iman Ali(as) regarding them as one entity "Allahmuhammadali." I tried researching it online but as of now I have not found a thing, does anyone here now of such sect(s)? If so please post the name and some brief information regarding it.
