Friendly fire kills 3, injures 24 Israelis Tue, 06 Jan 2009 04:56:17 GMT An Israeli tank has accidentally hit their own positions killing three Israeli soldiers and injuring 24 others including a commander in northern Gaza. An Israeli army spokesman confirmed the incident which took place on Monday night. "Three IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers were killed and one critically wounded and an additional three were severely wounded as the result of a tank shell explosion that was fired in error from an IDF tank during an operation" in northern Gaza, the spokesman said. The soldiers were from the Israeli army's elite Golani Brigade. The brigade commander, Colonel Avi Peled, was also lightly injured in the incident. "The tank shell hit a structure where the soldiers were located. Twenty additional soldiers were lightly to moderately wounded in the same incident," he added. SOURCE :)

imo, this shoe incident could rise the self esteem of either the iraqi people alone or the oppresed people in general. this little incident, could ignite the courage of the oppresed people to stand up and against the oppressors with everything they have. this somewhat unusual action by zaidi, has reminded people that everyone with free spirit, could show some unimaginable courage. the history will record this legendary farewell moment of bush and this is the way people would remember the final moment of him.

i couldnt feel anything while giving birth, since it was going under a sectio :P ..though when the anaesthetic effect began to fade, i started to feel the pain. i felt like someone pushed a very big and heavy on my stomach. such a terror. nevertheless, when they brought the baby to my room and put her beside me, the pain got incredibly much lesser than before. what a wonderful experience :)

a good enough marriage should be enough...particularly when there are kids involved. it's rather a nonrealistic notion, expecting you'll have an ideal marrige/spouse in this world. it's the hereafter happiness that islam suggested. out of this belief, insyaallah, as long as you do the best in your role and do everything according to islamic teachings, Allah will grant u the immortal happiness in the hereafter life.

depends on where your standpoint to view marriage comes from. if you observe it as part of your religious duty, it wouldnt even close to be repulsive.
