I don't get what is inappropriate. The joke is not about throwing balls at someone. The joke is actually more apt for people following cricket in that in a cricket match bowling 6 balls constitute 'an over'.
But heck, anyway the thread is ruined. It was supposed to be about poor jokes, which people should have let it be and not dig deep to read in between the lines.

What's the point of mere parroting the Quran without reflecting? Sunnis have unfortunately equated learning the Quran by rote as an indication of their correctness of beliefs. Nothing could be farther from the truth than this flawed analogy.
Whether Shiite ulema know the Quran by heart or not is irrelevant. What is indeed relevant is that they've clung on it as instructed by Ahlulbayt (a.s)

Inquisitor reacted to Qa'im in Need a Hadith on the following
`Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from ibn Abi `Umayr from Hamad from al-Halabi from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.
He said: al-`Abbas came to Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام and said: O `Ali, the people have gathered to bury the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله in Baqi`, the prayer place, and a man from them led the prayer. So Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام came out to the people and said: O people, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله is an Imam, [both] alive and dead. And he said: I will bury him in the place that he passed away in. Then `Ali stood at the door and prayed [the funeral prayer] upon him, then he commanded every ten people to come in and pray upon him and leave. (al-Kafi, Volume 1, hadith 1218)

Inquisitor reacted to Follower of Ahlulbayt in Refuting "Thaqalayn – A Critical Study"
There was an article written by an anti-shia website named "Thaqalayn – A Critical Study" in which they weakened all the reports of Hadith Thaqalayn which include "If you hold on to it you will never go astray". Obviously, they reject this addition because they know the implications of accepting it.
The three main flaws in the article are:
They commonly use strict rijal scholars in order to weaken narrators over the tawtheeq of numerous other scholars. Rijal scholars in the article they commonly use to weaken narrators are Abu Hatim, Nasai and Uqayli. All of them are known to be from the Mutashaddideen (strict ones). However, we cannot take the Jarh (criticism) of these scholars over the Tawtheeq of the jumhoor or of other strict rijal scholars. In the article, the writer seems to think that when Ibn Hajar says “He is a sadūq who makes mistakes in his transmission”, this means he is weak. This is incorrect and it is known to the scholars that this statement will make a transmitter to the level of Hasan, and not weak. At the end of this article, the author says that looking at the authentication of the scholars on these ahadith are baseless because they didn't do enough research. I say this is a cheap tactic by the author. I think any person can agree that no scholar gave authentication of hadith without doing research. Also, I believe that the scholars who authenticated these reports hold much more weight than the author who is clearly a bias polemicist.  Ok now lets bring the reliable Hadith which mention "If you hold on to it you will never go astray"
    Hadith One:
Ishaq said: Abu ‘Amir al-‘Aqadi – Kathir b. Zayd – Muhammad b. ‘Umar b. ‘Ali – his father - ‘Ali:  Verily, the Prophet, peace be upon him, came to a tree at (Ghadir) Khumm. Then he came out, holding the hand of ‘Ali, and saying: “Do you not testify that Allah is your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we do.” He said, “Do you not testify that Allah and His Messenger are more entitled to you than yourselves and that Allah and His Messenger are your Awliya?” They said, “Yes, we do”. He said, “So, whosoever Allah and His Messenger are his Mawla, verily this one (i.e. ‘Ali) is his mawla. I have left behind over you that which if you hold fast to it you will never go astray: the Book of Allah – one end of which is in His Hand and the other in your hands – and my Ahl al-Bayt.
The author first weakens this report because of Kathir b. Zayd. Guess which scholars he uses? He uses Nasai and Abu Hatim. The information regarding scholars on Kathir b. Zayd can be found here. Basically, majority of the scholar such as Imaam Maalik, Imaam Ahmed bin Hanbal, Imaam al-Mawsali, Imaam Bukhaari, Imaam Ibn Khuzaymah, Imaam Ibn Hibbaan and many others accept Kathir b. Zayd is thiqah. Therefore, the criticisms of Nasai and Abu Hatim hold no weight. I will add that the very light criticisms of Ibn al-Madini and Abu Zur`ah also hold no weight. The author also uses the statement of Yahya b. Ma'een to criticise Kathir b. Zayd but it can be found at another place that Yahya b. Ma'een said Kathir b. Zayd was thiqa. Finally, the author uses the saying of Ibn Hajar stating saduq makes mistakes to be a weakening of Kathir b. Zayd. However, as stated at the beginning, this is not the case. If the author wanted to use this, then he should also take the statement of Ibn Hajar grading this hadith as having a Sahih chain, (al-Matalib al-Aliyah bi Zawaid,# 3972) but of course he will not mention this in the article.
The next narrator they weaken is Muḥammad bin ‘Umar bin ‘Alī and they say he is unknown. Their opinion is of no value since this Muḥammad bin ‘Umar bin ‘Alī has been included in al-Thiqat by Ibn Hibban and he has also been labelled as saduq by Ibn Hajar and thiqah by Dhahabi. You will find that mostly, people that are solely mentioned in al-thiqat by Ibn Hibban are considered majhool, or maqbool to Ibn Hajar. However, we find that Ibn Hajar has graded Muḥammad bin ‘Umar bin ‘Alī saduq, suggesting that after going through his narrations, or getting some other external reference, Ibn Hajar has come to a scholarly verdict that Muḥammad bin ‘Umar bin ‘Alī is trustworthy. Refer to @Intellectual Resistance's article on Hadith Thaqalayn for more information. Furthermore, the grading of this hadith by the scholars include Shu’ayb Arnaut who said it was Hasan, and Ahmad B. Abu Bakr b.Ismail Al Busri and al-Muhamal who said it was Sahih.

    Second Hadith:
ʿAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad — (his father) Aḥmad ibn Ḥambal — Ibn Numayr — ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Abī Sulaymān — ʿAṭiyyah al-ʿAufī — from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī that Rasūlullāh H said: I am leaving amongst you that which if you hold on to you will never go astray, the Thaqalayn. One of them is greater than the other, the Book of Allah is like a rope that has been extended from the sky to the earth and my ʿitrah are my Ahl al-Bayt. These two will never separate until they meet me at the pond (of al-Kowthar).
The author of the article of course points out the fact that Atiyyah, a transmitter in the chain has been weakened by numerous scholars. However, these scholars were either mistaken, or were following the views of other scholars. This is a very nice article written by Sunnis refuting Salafis and proving the reliability of Atiyyah. They prove that Atiyyah was falsely accused of committing tadlees and being a Shia. Anyways, what we would like to point out is the fact that Ibn Hajar, has graded a chain containing Atiyyah to be Hasan, which means that this hadith thaqalayn would also have the same grading of Hasan.

    Third Hadith:
Nasr b. ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Kufi – Zayd b. al-Hasan al-Anmati – Ja’far b. Muhammad – his father – Jabir b. ‘Abd Allah:  I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, during his Hajj on the Day of ‘Arafat while he was on his camel, al-Qaswa, delivering a sermon, and I heard him saying: “O mankind! I have left behind over you that which if you hold fast to it you will never go astray: the Book of Allah and my offspring, my Ahl al-Bayt."
The author of the article points out that Zayd b. Hasan is weak according to Ibn Hajar and Dhahabi. However, these scholars were late scholars and they took from the classical scholars. Now, who is the only classical scholar that has weakened Zayd b. Hasan? Abu Hatim. The hadith scholar who was very strict. He contradicted Ibn Hibban and Tirmidhi who both considered Zayd b. Hasan as reliable. Therefore this hadith will also be considered Sahih or Hasan. Refer here for more information - https://www.al-islam.org/hadith-al-thaqalayn-deposed-will-last-prophet-humanity-toyib-olawuyi/1-hadith-al-thaqalayn-prophet

    Fourth Hadith:
Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Shaybānī — Aḥmad ibn Ḥāzim al-Ghifārā — Abū Nuʿaym —Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’ — Ḥabīb ibn Abī Thābit — Yaḥyā ibn Jaʿdah — from Zayd ibn Arqam: We went with Rasūlullāh H until we reached Ghadīr Khum. He ordered that the leaves should be trimmed, and thus they were trimmed on a day that we experienced heat that was never experienced before. He praised Allah Abūndantly and then said: “O people! Every nabī lives half the lifespan of the nabī that preceded him. Soon I will be called and I will answer the call. I am leaving amongst you that regarding which you will never be misguided after, the Book of Allah, the most Exalted and Majestic. He then stood up and held the hand of ʿAlī I and asked: “O people! Who is more rightful over you than yourselves?” They replied: “Allah and his Rasūl know best!”… “Whoever takes me as a mowlā, then ʿAlī is his mowlā.”
The author of the article, disingenuously weakens the report due to Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’. Guess who he quotes? Nasai and Uqaili, the strict hadith scholars. We find that the tawtheeq of Yahya b. Ma'een must be taken over the jarh of Nasai and Uqaili as Yahya b. Ma'een is one of the top rijal scholars and also known to be among the Mutashaddideen. As stated earlier, the tawtheeq of a strict scholar is taken over the jarh of a strict scholar. Also, other scholars such as Fasawi and al-Ijli declared Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’ to be thiqah. The saying of Ibn Hibban stating that Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’ distorts the chains without knowing is the only acceptable criticism. However, this statement does not diminish the trustworthiness of Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’. What we can conclude about this narrator is the saying of Ibn Hajar who says Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’ is saduq but makes mistakes, which the author of the article again uses as a statement of weakness. However, this is not correct and the scholarly verdict would be that of Sheikh Shu’ayb Arnaut who says Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlā’ is saduq, Hasan al-Hadith. Therefore this hadith has a Hasan chain.
    Fifth Hadith:
This one from Baladhuri has been discussed here - https://whoaretheshia.com/2018/04/05/hadith-at-thaqalayn-حديث-الثقلين-an-academic-analysis/

In conclusion we have five reliable chains of Hadith Thaqalayn which state "If you hold on to it you will never go astray". May Allah guide all of us to the path of Quran and Ahlulbayt.
