  1. right, so we are not to be punished for Adams so-called ''sin''. If you beleive what you say...then you should reject the doctrine of ''original sin'' But if you were to read EZEK 18: 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? Verse 21 says it all...you really dont need a blood sacrafice. Adam supposedly ''disobeying'' is not sin. All he did was not lsiten to Gods advice...that is not evil sin. God asked Ibrahim (s) to sacrafice ismael (s) to test his faith....and both he and his son were pleased to submit themselves to Gods will. Thats all it is...the bible does not teach ''human sacrafices''.
  2. If as you also beleive God gave us free-will, then surely adam also had this free-will too, correct? if he did...then this proves my point that mankind is created with a weak nature...not an evil nature. If, as christianity is trying to convey to the world, that humanity is EVIL by nature, then you are contradicting yourself in saying we have free-will. Why would create us with free-will and with an evil nature? In order for God to be happy with us...we need atonement, right? so God is being appeased in this regard. Your twisting my words..i didnt say ''satan makes us sin'' i said we have a weak nature in which satan tries to take advantage of. if you dont mind...please read THIS as it would explain better then me.
  3. redicilious! from what i can see...god condemned mankind and made a mistake (it says so in the OT somewhere)...so the ''son'' as it seems is being sacraficed to appease the father. the same rule applies. the nature of man is weak, not evil (as you christians are trying to convey to us). Satan takes advantage of our weak nature...and its upto us to be strong. Its as simple as that. If the OT is against human sacrafice...then how ''anti'' do you want it to be against ''God sacrafice''? Abaraham(s) offering his son was a proof of his and ismaels(s) submission to the will of God. Thats all.
  4. Maybe we should just be content with the knowledge has given us.
  5. yeah i know...but it should be an interesting read. In fact, ive been thinking about ordering that book for some months...but i have these doubts inside me whether theirs any point. Isnt it amazing how we humans love to ask questions? it kinda reminds me of the whole star trek exploring the unknown thing.
  6. placid: i really cudnt care-less wut ur bible says...sorry to sound harsh, but its jsut too obvious the bible is abrogated...buy bart erhmans books...i was gonna order ''misquoting jesus'' from amazon soon. its just getting boring talking about christianity these days...ive done it so many times, its become meaningless now. i think its my ego thats keeping me from closing me account on this site. :squeez:
  7. reply to warrior: no God is not a spirit...life is life...u cant make God a physical life entity now can you. now your starting to play word games...this is really starting to get boring...why dont u just research instead of boring us to death? at least Son of placid is fun to talk with...even when i unintentionnaly annoy him...he jokes about it. why cant u just relax a bit?
  8. i am good Praise be to God. Prophets are humble to God and fear him, they submit themselves to him...and out of their love for him they repent to him just as a means to worship him and be closer to him. Think about it, what better feeling could any person have other then to ask Beg God for something, anything...forgiveness even, even if u did nothing wrong. The jewish Prophets never commited any sins, some of them may have made minor mistakes, but never sin. So it would seem. it IS a part of you. Yet your spirit has a mind of its own? All the prophets of God would do what God commands them to do. I see no reason why we should distinguish between jesus (s) and Lot (s) for example. I think this is what john 10:30 means...jesus was pleased to be one with God in purpose and and act according to Gods will. Thats all it means. Remember in Corinthians where mr Paul talks about his mission there, he said that he had planted the seed and Apollos had watered it. Then he said, ''he who plants and he who waters are one'' (1 Cor. 3:8 - KJV) source when i said ''God is light'' i meant that metaphorically. When YOU say ''god is spirit'' you mean it literally. You are explicitly admitting that God is the creator of light. If this is the case...then you implicitly admit that God is the creator of spirit. again, this is a judeo-xian matter..its not my problem. I was only forced to give u that link coz u pushed me on the whole blood sacrafice thing. Jesus was teaching them to pray to the FATHER only...who is God..the one and only and unique. I am not 100% sure about this, but from what i know their are 2000 translations of the KJV alone. I dont know about the Quran though, ill research that, thanks for this point. I thank you for your concern, but really it is not needed. I beleive in a mercifull God who doesnt need sacrafices to appease himself. God may even forgive you if you remain a christian...as long as you dont beleive in the trinity and you profess your faith in the prophethood of muhammed (s). sorry, i think i meant that you beleived that Gods spirit dwelt in flesh, right? i cant remember now. peace.
  9. how can i close my account here? wsalaam
  10. hi warrior, how r you? Well in Islam we beleive that all the prophets of God are sinless and God gave them ''special wisdom'' if you like. For jews and you christians the prophets were prone to sinning. The ''word of God'' is not some physical or literal entity...its a reality which God GIVES to the prophets and messengers, he doesnt SHARE his own self with anyone or anything...because that would imply a form of tangiblity. If your spirit is YOU...then is Your hand YOU aswell? or is it a PART of you? a spirit is a creation which means it is a part of something. well, if my spirit had less or more knowledge then me then yes it would be two seperet entities...''knoweth no man, no, not the angels neither the son of the hour, except the father'' (i cant rember the exact words and i cant be arsed to look it up) The son knows less then the father...therefore they are two diferent persons. Light as in guiding his servants. Not a lightswitch...now ur being silly. Because God is the creator of spirits. god is not and cannot be like his creations...why is that so hard to beleive? please read THIS This is something christians and jews have to settle. right, so praying to the father who is God is essential. your delibretly putting words in my mouth...i said ''just faith alone'' For your information we only have ONE book..we dont have a million like you do:) anyway...no we dont beleive in blood sacrafice. your the one who beleives in it, not me. Placid...your posts are far too long for me to care. I am gonna be closing my account from this miserable webste very soon...you can try converting some other poor 13 year old kid now that the mods on this pathetic website dont seem to have a problem with it.
  11. Good post netzari. Now your twisting the argument, you answer my question with a question which is totaly not relevant to my origial point. Just in case you forgot, my question was...If the ''word of god'' dwelt in flesh...then whats the diference between all the other prophets and prophet jesus (s) ? let me ask you another question...is your spirit a part of you or not? well, i would probably say ''he is light'' and i dont mean literally or physically a light. But I would never go beyond the red line and say ''he is a spirit'' well i suppose ''dont care'' was wrong of me to say...i meant rather that they are not significant to you anymore because you think the cross is your ''salvation'' oh please...you love jews that much? I think the isrealites needed to ''take it easy'' with the sacrafices of cute little goats. But either way...I doubt the jews accept what you beleive about blood atonement...and neither do muslims. OUR father...who art in heavan...he didnt say ''MY father, who art in OUR heavan'' Hallowed be (praise be) THY NAME... not ''MY name'' or ''OUR name'' ...etc Its funny, jesus teaches the people how to pray to their and his ''father'' or God yet he doesnt teach them to just ''have faith''. Then your God is a shilock...worse then a shilock. Not only does he condemn mankind for Adams mistake (not sin) but he also says in eccles ''He the lord made man UPRIGHT'' He creates me upright, yet at the same time I have a load bear of sin on my shoulders. None of the prophets of God tought this. He condemns mankind for Adams mistake (which was an innocent mistake) for eternity and after 4000 years he kills his own son which is actually himself? Now that seems very hatefull to me. God allowing us to strive for him out of our own struggle, free-will so that we will truely recognise him is a far better love for us, then to play monkey tricks like dwelling flesh and dying on 2 planks of wood.
  12. umar can suck a golf ball through a garden hoze.
  13. I didnt ask whether their were ''2 parts'' u seem to be confused. Are you telling me that my spirit is not a part of me? If you dont mind...please read the supplication by one of our imams (s)...and then perhaps you'll have a slightly better understanding of our concept of God is. http://www.al-islam.org/sahifa/dua1.html But none of the prophets mean anything to YOU. That was my point, only the cross is significant in your life...you probably dont care if moses even existed...right? all that matters is that you are ''saved''. I can promise you...the jews would beg to differ. they hate jesus (s) more then they hate muhammed (s) i think. Who knows? any critical things you have to say about muhammed(s) and islam, the jews can and do say the same about jesus (s) and christianity. no muslim beleives he is forgiven untill the day of judgment. We must strive and struggle to please God...it is our pleasure to strive and struggle for him. what better salvation is their then this? oh common, I sincerely beleive god is capable of forgiving sin without blood sacrafice. judge not lest ye be judged. Matt 7. you are judging me and anyone who is not like you...do you need to be judged now? Revelation 14:6,7: And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. I see 3 commands here 1. Fear God, (that is, do as God commands instead of conforming to what the neighbor thinks) 2. Glorify God (that is, recognize God alone as the source of all good things and give thanks to Him) and 3. Prostrate to God, and pray to Him in prostration. The Gospel gives two explanations for these commands: everyone is going to be held accountable to God in the judgement, and God is deserving of worship and obedience because He is the Creator of all things. Source Tell me...am i obeying these commands or not? why would he do such a thing? for fun? You are saying that God is UNABLE to forgive sin without blood sacrafice...are you seriously teling me this is what you beleive? I think you need to relax boss...God isnt as hatefull as you make him ya know. I did...for 2 years, I find the ''scriptures'' to be an average childrens story book at best. Their are some good things in the OT...the NT does mention the virgin birth which is true and a few other things...but other then that, its nothing to get worked up over :) blood begets blood, murder begets murder, evil begets evil..and sacrafice is a pagan, mythical and savage doctrine..that which i will never beleive in. good luck to you.
  14. oh ye of little faith...lol common satyaban...youve been on shiachat long enough to know what we beleive about God. God is not a mystery, as christians make him out to be. Rather the christian God is a contradiction, but God is never a contradiction. This is what i meant...we are allowed to know him as he is...not to just beleive in something that is nonsensical. peace.
  15. again, you refuse to answer my question...because you are still insisting on giving God parts like ''physical word'' and ''lights'' and ''spirit''. Do you know ANYTHING about islam? or just that muslims are infidels? and that islam is one of those ''eastern religions''?? Do you have any idea what our concept of God is? did the muslim make God a moving spirit? or a man? or a frog? NO..YOU CHRISTIANS HAVE. The only lie in your religion is the lie which YOU have created and brought upon it and on the innocent prophet jesus (s) whom YOU have oppressed! he will not be happy with you come judgment time. All the prophets of God count, but for You...only the cross counts. Muslims are not obliged to follow the Torah that we see today. However...as I am doing with you now...you could say i am being a little involved. Yet the jews have other explanations and beleifs. Thank you for the warning...yet levae the warnings for the proper people, the prophets of God would do a much better job then you. God never sacrafices himself, rather we must sacrafice for him. That is REAL salvation. Did not Jesus teach this in the gospel of mathew i think...''i shall teach you how to pray...'' i warn you, dont Judge God...or he will judge you. why are you so angry? thank you for the advice though...but it really is not warranted. Now I advise you to remember God in all your actions and judgments. And i also advise you to remember that God doesnt force anyone to do anything...he is our Guide and our mercifull judge. The rest is upto us.
