  1. Do you disagree? I understand being against a kaafir tyrant like saddam(la) but that doesn't mean you should go running arm in arm with those people (like tony blair) who are hardcore allies of the zionists who are the chief enemy of the Muslims.

Abdul Majid al-Khoei and his master Tony Blair(la)

2004 pic of Tony Blair(la) of Britain with his true top ally the war criminal genocidal monster ariel sharon(la) of zionist "israel"

    Asalamualakum,

As a matter of fact I do disagree...who said anything about "me" running into the arms of people like Tony Blair and zionists. A picture you show me proves absolutely nothing to me. It's useless and pointless so I suggest you find some other technique.

And when was the Prophet (saaw) supposed to kill these two and for what crime?

What a stretch, abdul majid khoie strolls in from london, brings the baathi stooge along to the shrine with him and expects to just have the keys given to him, all the time whilst espousing pro occupation theories and you want to blame Muqtada for his reckless behaviour?

Khoie did not deserve to die, as mob rule is not what Islam is about, but he, admittely like many exiles, misjudged the iraqi mood. Muqtada and his people lived under the torture and rape and murder the whole time so his follwers were rightfully peeved. Yes, Muqatada could have done more, but then many people could have done more. It is a long step to say he could have done more and then say he killed him himself, as others have said.

Either way the fact remains that the sons of sadr city are the reason Imam Musa Kadhim's shrine is still standing and why baghdad is not 100% sunni.

BTW i am not saying that BECAUSE they killed one they saved three million. i said they MAY have killed one but ALSO saved 3 million. Hence the good outweighs the bad. The two acts are not linked, unlike your confusing example.

    Asalamulakum,

When and how the prophet kills these 2 is non of my concern, they did many crimes and injured the Muslim Ummah (read your history) so they desereved to die. Funny how you ask what crime these 2 dogs did but you sit there naming the wrong doings of Sayed Majid Al-Khoei. I never blamed Moqtada for his behaviour I blame Moqtada for the actions taken place during the murder of Sayed Majid Al-Khoei. I don't care what you think of Sayed Majid Al-khoei because this can go on forever, and frankly i don't feel like arguing the situation of the sadrists with you because I know we won't get anywhere. What I care about is that you have the heart to sit there, speak ill of the man, then say who cares if he died or that he desereved to die. The man is already dead for godsake and btw your "they may have killed one but also saved 3 million" still implies that killing him was for a good cause.

Whether its Al-e-Hakim or Al-e-Khoei, they are/they were and they will be with Bush and any future US President for an unprecendented time for some unforseen realities. Its the same thing like when Imam Khomenie closed imposed WAR himself and Ummah was shocked.

There is some thing which a general man can't see and our Ayatollahs can perceive beyond the times being under commandment of Imam of Time.

Can we unite and not be emotional and sentimental to issue final verdict according to our limited scope over subject.

Despite all odds Iraq suffered and suffering one can't produce a single word or picture that Great Grand Ayatollah Sistani sits/shakes hands with Americans.

It will take centuries to get Ayatollahs like Sistani or Khomenie. I believe when Ayatollah Sistani turn neck, Washington change policies due to his charismatic supreme command over Ummah.

May Allah bless all of our clergy and I wish , I pray a Khomenie will be born in a Khoei family and a Khoei will be born in a Khomenie family to unite us from east to west and north to south.

Whether it's Maliki's backed Protection council /Hakims SCRI Militants/Khoei's followers /Sadrs Militias they all respect and follow Ayatollah Sistani as a bottom line, the reason Iraq is going to be get out of quagmire is His Highness in-hiding supreme leadership among all ethnic communities including Kurds and Turkomens , too.

If we will keep our worldly limited agenda aside Ayatollahs can better safe our nation. We need statesmen like Khomenie or a Young Revoltionary Leaders Moqtada/new comer Montadhar.

    Asalamualakum,

Although I don't agree with you...you make some good points. :)

  2. The Sadrists didn't kill the younger al-Khoei who was nothing but a no good british, american, zionist agent anyway.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2936887.stm

Another quote about him: Strongly pro-US, Sayed Abdul Majid Al-Khoei was a bitter critic of Saddam Hussein. He temporarily lived in London waiting for an opportunity to return to Iraq.

The munafiq Abdul-Majid al-Khoei in the past with his buddy the war criminal former british leader tony blair(la).

  3. Not even gonna get into Al Khoie.

    Allahu Alem.

What I will say is that needs must. if they didnt fight baghdad would have been shialess.

lets say they killed one they also saved 3 million.

    You do the math.

Well then the the prophet could have killed Omar and Abu Bakr and saved the entire Muslim Ummah. He would have killed 2 and saved all of humanity. Let's just say Moqtada had nothing to do with the killing of Sayed Majied for arguments sake, he however didn't do anything about it when he could have. Your words hurt, especially to many who are on sc...Imam Ali (as) says "a wise man thinks before he speaks..."

  4. Asalamualakum,

Just about a week or so ago, the court said he had only 14 months left to serve in prison. I'm not sure if that upsets you or excites you. All in all, he dosen't have to be deported after coming out of jail alhamdulila. Our duaa has finally been answered....(Recite a salawat) :)

    wasalaam

    Sura Maidah aya 67

    Asalamualakum,

Yaz, your presentation was perfect! You explained the Aya and explained it wonderfully. She seemed convinced and i think she liked it. Btw, the whole brining back the aya to one of Imam Jaffar Al Sadiq's Hadith couldn't have been any more perfect. And the looking at the aya through different prespectives to compare between what shia say and what ahlul sunna say was splendid...honestly, have you ever thought of becoming an Ethics or maybe a Quran teacher?

  7. Isn't her husband Iranian?

    Asalamualakum,

Yeah he actually is an Iranian-American, I'm guessing who dosen't agree with the government of Iran and is against it. As a matter of fact in the book, she compares the Shah to Khomeni saying both were corrupt leaders however Khomeni was not only corrupt but also took people's freedom.

  8. ^

same 'ol same 'ol nonsense and lies about Muqtada, facts are far more complex - and those issues, including the errors of the present day ulema, are unfortunately not something we can discuss on shia chat without arousing all kinds of fitna - so best to discuss them away from forums like shia chat...

but rest assured, the errors are discussed in Iraq, by the vast and deeply religious Shi'a (and Sunni) population of Iraq, and it is not as if these errors are unknown.

It's funny how you veiw Moqtada as some sort of heroin who is going to lead Iraq out if it's misery...man, wake up! Honestly all i can say is "Sharo il baleeyaty ma uth7ik" some people need reality checks, i suggest you get one.

  9. Asalamualakum,

I just finished reading a book called Veil of Roses by Laura Fitzgerald and i was wondering if anyone else read the book? If yes, can i know your opinion on the author's way of showing the reader what life in Iran is like...Or the statements she gives regarding Ayatullah Khomeni? I assume more of the females read the book being that it's a girly story, but never-the-less i would appreciate comments...thanx

  10. Asalamualakum,

Does no one realize how many times this topic was braught up? "Iraq needs another Khomeni" "Iraq needs a leader, someone like Moqtada al Sadr"...Does no one understand that Moqtada is not like his father nor is he like shaheed al sadr...I'm sorry to say but he is an embarrassment and lacks the attributes of a leader. He can't lead his own army let alone a country. The man can't speak for god's sake...so why in the world would you suggest Moqtada to lead Iraq? why? You also have to keep in mind that if Iraq were to have another khomeni the shia of Iraq will split and heat will rise amongt 3ulama2. Iraq will start having different political parties and enemousity will arise. When Khomeni came in to Iran most if not all of the country's population were shia...Iraq and Iran are different in so many ways. Don't think its simple to demand that Iraq become like Iran because it's not...if you're ready to sit there and watch Iraq's shia go corrupt then by all means (it's not as if they aren't corrupt as it is), stick with your suggestion however, keep in mind not everyone (and by everyone i mean shia) agrees.

  11. Asalamualakum,

I'm a huge fan of Nazar al Qatary and i'll be honest this is the first time I hear any of his Nasheeds or Latmiyat that has too much voice affects and a little something added to it...however i don't see anything wrong with the words...unless maybe the phrase "wahdaho la shabeeha lah" gives some sort of offense. I know people who would think taking that is too far.

  12. Asalamualakum,

I know I'm a bit late, apologies

If you could be anyone (past or present) who would it be and why?

Who's your favorite disney princess? (random i know  )

I'm not sure if these questions were already asked...didn't have time to read all the posts...k :D

  13. Saddam's not dead. He's always alive. Look at Iraq. There are plenty of Saddam's running the country. Until the American troops withdraw, all the terrorist (foreigners, jaysh al mahdi, wahabbis, all of them) die or vanish, and the Iraqi people can finally live in peace, then that IS WHEN SADDAM IS REALLY DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well said
