  1. (salam) @) I was hoping if someone can please clarify soem doubts I have about wudhu. 1) When washing the face I pour water into my right hand and start washing from the top of my forehead all the way down to my chin, using my thumb up until my middle finger, once I've done that i use the same wet hand without pouring more water into my hand, just to go over my face again. I am having doubts because when I am washing my face I only wash it in one direction i.e from my forhead down to my chin and parts of my face mainly the sides remain dry, I recently came accross a video of how to do wudhu

  4. I found this, i think their was some sort of commotion at the event when the sheikh was speaking. http://www.7cgen.com/index.php?showtopic=20482&st=0
  5. I thought this was a very touching speech by a former rap artist turned muslim napoleon. Naploeon was raised amongst music, murderers and corruption, yet still was able to find his way through to the light of Islam from the darkness he once was in. Inshallah islam will keep on rising and will guide people towards the righteous path.
  6. ramadhan kareem, and inshallah Allah SWT guides us alll to the right path. I have a quick question basically i follow grand ayatollah sistani and it's been announced that ayatollah sistani followers are starting ramadhan from the 14th the problem is i started fasting today with the niya of ramadhan which would mean that i would have kept an extra fast for the month of ramadhan, what should i do, can i change the niyya for my fast for the month of ramadhan to niyya for shaaban or what. I will carry on fasting inshallah but i don't know whether to keep the extra fast because that would make 31.
  7. (salam) I was on duas.org and came across some very effective prayers for thursday which provide much rewards for people praying them. I got really excited looking at the prayers because of the amount of sawab they have but i have a problem. I understand them as it states what to read in each rakat but what would the intention be when reading the thursday prayers for example if the prayer is six rakats should i say i am reading 6 rakat thursday prayer kurbatan ilallah. Also theres's a Prayer for Thursday evening so when i'm doing the intention do i state it's evening prayer. I've also got ano
  8. (salam) Would someone be able to explain to me the rules of nafilah namaz and what are the significance of praying these namazes. I also have a question regarding how many rakats the namazes are. Are they always 2 rakats nafilah namaz and what would the niyat be for example i pray 2 rakat nafilah namaz qurbatan illallah(would this be correct) wsalam
  9. (salam) I have a question regarding Friday juma prayer. If for example an emergency arises and you can't make the juma prayer, is zuhar prayer sufficient to pray. The reason i ask this is i've heard that juma prayer is wajib takyiree which means it's optional. Also if you can't make juma prayer then would the niyat for zuhar be wajib takyiree like you say for the juma prayer or just wajib.
  10. Assalamoalaikum Thank you so much for the replies but i'm still confused about the type of namaz i have to read for the amaal mentioned. Do i Pray 2 raka’t Namaz-e-Haajat and what would the niyat be and also CyShah would you be able to clarify to me in namaz-e- haajat what would i read, would it be the same as you stated for namaz-e-shukr. Like shown below. And would this be the correct way to pray namaz-e-hajat. Wassalamu alaikum wr wb.
  11. Assalamoalaikum! Can someone tell me what namaz-e-shukr is and how you read it, including the niyat and what you say in each rakat. I came accross a website which has some effective duaas as i am looking for some duaas because i have my driving test this Friday and am really worried about failing and one of the websites stated that i should recite this duaa 100 times, preferably on Thursday, after praying 2 rakat salat, and 15 durood (salawat) before and at the end of this dua'a, and beseech the almighty Allah to fulfill your legitimate desires, wants and needs. BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
  12. Salaam I've got a question about the niyat for reading fajr namaz. I used to read fajr namaz but i've stopped and i want to start again but i can't remember what the niyat is and i've heard that it's different from reading the other namazes for example when reading fajr salaat your meant to say wajib and then something else. I don't know myself and i want to start praying in the mornings so is there anyone that can help me on this matter.
  13. I was hoping if someone could just answer a few questions i have. The first question is when reciting tasbeeh, what is the niyat because i usually say i am reciting tasbee fatima zehra sunnat qurbatan illallah, i'm not sure if this is correct so if some one could tell me the correct niyat for reciting tasbeeh i would be really grateful. Also i have heard numerous times that in the ending of sura fatiha it is meant to be pronounced as waladaleen and not zaleen. My question is do you have to get the correct pronounciation like the quirat because someone told me that the way i say waladaleen it'
  14. Salam. :) Thanks for the reply. I had another question regarding wudu. When performing wudu i usually take water in my left hand and wash from the right elbow down to the wrist, but i have recently found out that this is not the correct method and that you have to wash from the elbows down to the fingertips. Does this mean to wash from the elbows down to the fingers? Could someone pelase tell me the correct way of doing wudu. And will my namaz count because all these years i've been doing wudu the incorrect way. Also would someone be able to clarify what the niyat is for juma namaz. Your hel
