Mujtahids will always have differences until the return of the Imam (ajtf). We need to learn to live with this, instead of getting overly excited each time we see a fatwa that contradicts our Mujtahid's one. Do your best to find the most Learned, the most God-Fearing man, and let others be. Even with the really wacky fatwas, when they are explained and the evidence is provided as to why the Scholar issued such a decree, they tend to make more sense. It doesnt mean you will agree with it, but at minimum we shdnt start bashing them as fakes and liars.

Its a much needed venture, but the Iraqi Government needs to make sure they are clear the fight is against Al-Qaeeda and the Takfiri ideology as opposed to ordinary Sunnis. Normal Sunnis need to distance themselves from this anti-human scum, and take a truly brave stance in front of these nutters. But they need to be sure that the Iraqi Shia will not then abandon them or turn against their legitimate demands.

I personally don't remember coming across anything mentioning 'Najd' in our own literature that i have come across, but its not been anything i have actively searched. I'm going through 2 books about Wahabism at the moment, one by Ayatollah Jafar Subhani and another shorter one by Ayatollah Nasir Makarim Shirazi. If i come across any hadith describing these terrorists, i will definitely share :) But its definitely a fruitful question, i dont know if any of the other brothers/sisters have come across anything specific?
