I have not, though it'd be interesting to see. While the first part is talking about something physical (flesh building flesh), I'm not sure whether the "creation" here is referring to their body per say or more their character. Where it then says to call the adhan in their ear leads me to thinking the latter, but I don't know.
Incidentally, if you've not seen them here's the chapter in Wasa'il on this topic (about the karaha of not eating meat for forty days):
    http://rafed.net/books/hadith/wasael-25/02.html#13
    (chapter 12)
As to "Sayyid Sistani's" response, you should know that's not likely really coming from him...

Yup, first time I send a question in Arabic though to an office. Sounds like it really is a good idea to do so...

Ok, first response received. Question sent was:
    We find in al-Kafi:
Muhammad b. Ya`qub from `Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from Ibn Abi `Umayr from Hisham b. Salim from Abu `Abdillah (as). He said: Flesh builds flesh, and one who abandons it for forty days his creation (or, his character, khalq) becomes evil (or, is harmed). And whoso's creation becomes evil, then call the adhan in his ear.
So if the person does not eat meats for a period of forty days or more in a single time (intentionally, when halal meat is available to them) is this makrooh?
Response received from the office of Sayyid al-Hakim:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وله الحمد
    السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
ج ـ نعم لا ينبغي ترك اكل اللحم اكثر من اربعين يوماً على ما هو مذكور في الرواية
Answer - Yes, it is not appropriate to abandon eating meat for more than forty days upon what is mentioned in the riwayat.
    (Translation of response is mine)

more specifically, something along the lines of:
in sha Allah, I'll go ahead and send it.

I would have been more specific. For instance,
    Is this hadith correct?
Ü ãÍãÏ Èä íÚÞæÈ ¡ Úä Úáí Èä ÅÈÑÇåíã ¡ Úä ÃÈíå ¡ Úä ÇÈä ÃÈí ÚãíÑ Úä åÔÇã Èä ÓÇáã ¡ Úä ÃÈí ÚÈÏÇááå ( Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã ) ÞÇá : ÇááÍã íäÈÊ ÇááÍã ¡ æãä ÊÑßå ÃÑÈÚíä íæãÇ ÓÇÁ ÎáÞå ¡ æãä ÓÇÁ ÎáÞå ÝÃÐäæÇ Ýí ÇÐäå
If a person would not eat meat for forty days or more at a time (intentionally, when halal meat is available to them) would this be considered makrooh?
(BTW, the hadith is hasan according to Majlisi, and there are many other narrations that are similar to it)

Could you post what the exact question you sent was? (Also it's worth pointing out, the answers you receive from these offices aren't usually going to be from the marja` themselves. What you'll more usually get is someone working in the office, and which can explain why you might find conflicting answers. If it's in English, and in Qum, it could even be coming from a howza student who knows English.)

Got the reply from Sayyid Rohani, but... I don't actually understand all of what he wrote. Can anyone help out (even if you can just transliterate it or even better type out the Arabic so that I might know what the handwritten Arabic is)?

There's ikhtilaf in the hadiths on this. For instance we have a sahih sanad hadith in Kafi that says each stage is forty days and describes them. But then there's another sahih one in Qurb al-Isnad where the stages are laid out differently and the time period between them is listed as thirty days). In addition, if we look at the book of one of our great early fuqaha, Ibn Idris, he says they are twenty days each (does not present a riwaya to back that up, but I highly doubt he'd have just pulled the number out of nowhere).
Personally I'm not sure which to consider correct, though interestingly when a brother wrote to Prof. Modaressi about the one in Kafi, he said it was a mis-attribution to the Imam and that in fact it was a Hanafi riwaya, used by them to justify abortion.

Is he basically saying that when the Holy Lawgiver regards that abandoning eating meat brings about the evil/ill of creation and its ordering then what is there to prevent placing (the ruling) of karaha upon it? The middle part I don't get though.

I find it a bit humorous you would list Farsi as a "lingua franca" while comparatively few members on this board understand it (I'd imagine we have more members who know Punjabi than Farsi). And no, you're doing no-one a "favor" by speaking English here, because this _is_ an English language website. We have a few subforums here for other languages, but by and large it's expected you will primarily use English on this site if you want to post in the main forums.
Anyhow, as to the OP, Qa'im said it right, some terms are just better left untranslated and have become part of the universal Muslim vocabulary. So regardless of whether it's a Malay, a Bangladeshi, a Turkman, or a Sudanese, if you ask them if they've done their wudu they should know what you're talking about. Compare:
After completing the seven circumambulations around the cuboidal building during your pilgrimage, it is obligatory for you to perform two bowing units of canonical prayer.
    vs
After completing the seven tawaf around the Ka`ba during your hajj, it is wajib for you to perform two rak`at of salat.
When I converted way back when I used to complain about this too, but nowadays I'm probably one of the bigger "offenders" on this one myself seeing that it's better for English speaking Muslims to incorporate into their vocabulary these terms into their own language. Like take "tahwid" for instance, or "walaya", these are not only terms but they are concepts with a great deal of meaning and belief behind them, and as such even if you could find an equivalent English term (which often you can't) you won't render the concept, so better just to stick with the term as is.

Brother MajiC, I again urge you to read all the posts as your conclusion is what is hasty.
I did not even once say we shouldn't support the Palestinians or help when they ask for it. All I said what that we should be aware of who the opportunists are and be aware that they are our enemies and not friends.
And I am the last one to say we should not cooperate with or help people just because they are of a different religion.
People here are just too hyper and keep assuming things and then "refuting" it in terrible English.

    No, you claim that:

If you had read all the posts, you wouldn't have.

Well, two reasons why I said that:
    1. You read my posts but still are repeating the same nonsense allegations against me. Either you are an idiot or you are acting as if you didn't understand.
    2. You say:
what language and grammar can the message be transmitted
The language should at least be able to transmit the message LOL. What is the use of blabbering if no one understands what you are trying to say.
No, but it is highly annoying.
You need a lifetime supply. But I am not sure if that'd help.

I think you have misunderstood. I did not say that we should disrespect them. I am merely pointing out the rules of this site and how they work. Here everyone is allowed to disrespect Akhbari scholars and apparently they are not included in the list of the Shi'i scholars who shouldn't be disrespected.
I agree with you that this is really sad and wrong.

He is a SHI'A and you can disagree with what he says but you shouldn't insinuate that he is a follower of another religion.
Akhbaris are Shi'i too but they are not in a majority today.
You can read about them here.

I did not deliberately post it now.
I was under the [mistaken] impression that Hamas was a Shi'i friendly organization and was like Hezbollah. But now it is obvious that they are backstabbers and typical Salafis.

You apparently disrespected Ayatullah Khamenai. It was edited before I could read it so I do not know what you said was really disrespectful or the mods are just over-zealous.
Anyways, you are not allowed to disrespect Shi'i scholars [Akhbari scholars are excluded though. You can insult them all you want]. If you do, you will be warned. And after three warnings, you will be banned.

Either you people are too thick to see that I am not saying that the Palestinians are not oppressed or you are pretending to not notice that I have repeatedly said that YES THEY ARE OPPRESSED, WE SHOULD SYMPATHIZE WITH THEM.
Do you people agree that we should be aware of what our enemies [inside and outside] think/say about us? Yes or no?
How many of you agree with what the Hamas says about Sistani?
Or about the Shi'a in general?

No, we cannot turn away from this reality, but what do you think should we do? Can we really turn a blind eye to the suffering of their people? Didn't you say in one of the threads:

And the Imams treated even their enemies with justice and compassion.
    http://www.shiachat.com/forum/index.php?sh...t&p=1813887

    Thank you.
My sympathies do not lie with any party, but with the innocent people who are being oppressed and massacred in Gaza/Palestine right now regardless of their affiliation.
In any case, if Hamas does have this anti-Shi'i mentality and are Yazid lovers [if true], then inshaAllah, Imam Mahdi (atf) will take care of them - when he is going to strike his sword on all those who have sympathy and love for Banu Umayyah [to those who have the book Qalbe Saleem, there's a tradition brought by the author, Martyr Dastghaib Shirazi, explaining this].
May Allah (swt) guide them and keep us firm on the Right Path and Allah's curse on the unjust.
