  2. There are sahih ahadith about visiting the qabr (grave) of Imam al-Rida (as). See: w/s
  3. Alhamdulillah. I already quoted one in post # 3, and there are ghulats(la) in the chain. According to my knowledge, there are two or three more similar narrations which does taweel of word الدين (deen) in some Quranic ayah as 'Religion(الدين) is Wilayat' but they are also weak sanadan. w/s
  4. These English translations are very poor. The original arabic says: بابُ في ذِكرِ ثَوابُ زِيارَة الإِمام عَلِيٍّ بن مُوسَى الرِّضاعَلَيْهِمَا السَّلاَمُ‏ i.e. Sawab of Ziyarah of al-Imam Ali b. Musa al-Rida (as). and even in hadith, the arabic word is 'ziyarah' or 'qabr' (grave) which are translated as shrines.
  5. Very good question. Any reliable hadith from Imams of Ahlul bayt (as) about sawab of building shrines. AFAIK, there isn't any. w/s
  6. AFAIK, they are all weak. See: http://www.al-khoei.us/books/index.php?id=7524 (6954) w/s

  9. Most of such taweel are clearly out of context and comes from weak narrations. Like the following which has ghulats(la) in the sanad. . . Þæáå ÊÚÇáì: (ÃÑÃíÊ ÇáÐí íßÐÈ ÈÇáÏíä) [ÇáãÇÚæä/1]. 12. Some Imami scholars have called him 'ãÇÍí ÇáÏíä' i.e. Destroyer / Eraser of the Deen From Rawdat al-Jannat of Mirza Muhammad Baqir al-Khwansari. . . w/s
  13. I think it is used as a proof of tawtheeq for some companions of Imam Ali (as). AFAIK, those who are mentioned by al-Barqi in the list of 'From Khawas Ashab Ali (as)' are relied by Syed al-Khoei and not considered majhool. w/s

  15. There are confusions b/c of the wordings in Rijal Najashi. Scholars have different opinions regarding him b/c it's not clear in the tarjama of al-Hussain b. Alwan whether the tawthiq is for him or for his brother i.e. al-Hasan. Thats why some scholars consider him majhool. w/s

  17. AFAIK, such narrations are mentioned in Tibb al-Aimmah but they are weak in isnad. w/s
  18. To say that Imam (as) did not supported Zayd's (as) uprising would mean that Zayd's uprising was no different from taghut as other hadith says (ßá ÑÇíÉ ÊÑÝÚ ÞÈá ÞíÇã ÇáÞÇÆã ( Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã ) ÝÕÇÍÈåÇ ØÇÛæÊ íÚÈÏ ãä Ïæä Çááå) But would Imam use the following words for a 'taghut', Nauzubillah. Look at Imam's confidence for Zayd: ÝÇä ÒíÏÇ ßÇä ÚÇáãÇ æßÇä ÕÏæÞÇ æáã íÏÚßã Åáì äÝÓå¡ æÅäãÇ ÏÚÇßã Åáì ÇáÑÖÇ ãä Âá ãÍãÏ Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÂáå æáæ ÙåÑ áæÝì ÈãÇ ÏÚÇßã Åáíå ÅäãÇ ÎÑÌ Åáì ÓáØÇä ãÌÊãÚ áíäÞÖå ^This clearly indicates that there was some type of support or permission from Imam (as) for Zayd (as) to rev
