For how many times over the ages have You, O Allah, granted victory to a seemingly small group over a seemingly large group? (And in Allah let the believers put their trust.) I need some clarification on a particular matter: I've heard many sunni scholars say that it's best to pray for Afiyah (well being) instead of sabr (patience) if one is not going through a trial or calamity and that if one is already going through a trial or calamity then only then is it permissible to pray for patience. But what's our take on this as Shia? Jazakallahu khair

I completely agree brother, here where I'm at in Alabama, you have some people starting to wake up to the truth about the US. Not many but a small number of people is better than none.

I recently learned that the Torah was revealed in the sixth day of Ramadan. Is there anything prescribed for us in this particular day that's recommended to do as well as when the other scriptures like the Psalms and Gospel were revealed in Ramadan? Jazakallahu khair.
