  1. That is very extreme viewpoint. If He is above Existence then He created Existence and how Existence can be created when God Himself Exist? And what about all of attributes of God in Quran? Of course no one can understand their fully meaning, but we don't go that far to deny it by saying He is beyond His own attributes.
  2. Who said that amount of imams need to be shown trough the Quran so that it will validate the 12 Imams? The prayer yes, because it is an daily practice that need to be appointed at fixed time, as God says it in Quran. As for the concept of Imamate itself is in Quran and no one deny it. What people differ is with the definition of the Imamate, but both Sunnis and Shias do agree that there are twelves Imams after the Prophet by narrations that can not be denied. The appointed 12 khulafa are exactly the Imams who are choosed by God to guide the Ummah. There is narrations where Prophet (saws) said that he is leaving among us two khulafa (but mostly two precious things), the Qur’an and his Ahlubayt, thus the Qur’an and members of Ahlubayt are the Imams/Khulafa of this Ummah who guide us and never bring us astray: Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: "I saw the Messenger of Allah during his Hajj, on the Day of 'Arafah. He was upon his camel Al-Qaswa, giving a Khutbah, so he said: 'O people! Indeed, I have left among you, that which if you hold fast to it, you shall not go astray: The Book of Allah and my family, the people of my house.'" حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، هُوَ الأَنْمَاطِيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي حَجَّتِهِ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْقَصْوَاءِ يَخْطُبُ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي قَدْ تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ مَا إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ بِهِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَعِتْرَتِي أَهْلَ بَيْتِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ وَحُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ ‏.‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ ‏.‏ Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Sunnah.com reference : Book 49, Hadith 185 English translation : Vol. 1, Book 46, Hadith 3786 Arabic reference : Book 49, Hadith 4155 And these are the people of authority who God said that we should obey them: O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result. Quran 4:59 This obedience is connected to same level as Prophet obedience by the verse itself. And they can not be those who are sinful and command to sinful things. And they are infallible by the Quranic verse 33:33 - what kind of muslims are those who are commanded to hold on to two things for guidance but they throw one and keep one. As how valuable you hold Quran, as how eager you recite it, as how eager you refer and study to it, you need to also do this to Ahlubayt. Those People who claim to follow them, but why dont they focus fully only on them, follow them as their companion, take the narrations and guidance only from Ahlubayt, as narration indicate, but rather they only do that for Quran, when both of them need equal obedience.
  3. I remember sunnis argued with the same thing and my answer is simple, we only take from the Quran and Infallibles. The Scholars can believe in whatever concepts they want, take it from ancients philosophy or not, it does not necessarily represent Kitabullah and Ahlulbayt (عليه السلام) viewpoint. The Imams did criticized their companions when they saw that they have reached to wrong viewpoints. We don't take our scholars the same way how sunnis take their sahabas.
  4. Salaam Aleikum, The verse of mut'ah came in the time of the year Mecca was conquered. Is there Sahih Sunni Hadiths that attribute to the Prophet (saws) that he forbid it after this time? Umar statement is not allowed because it is not direct word of the Prophet (saws). And nor is it allowed to bring a narration that chains only ends to single sahabi who witnessed it, because to abrogate the verse of Quran, you can not rely to only one narrator and witness.
  5. The Quran verse I quoted and narrations where Prophet ask forgiveness to us is clear evidence that we can seek intercession of Prophet (عليه السلام) and Imams (عليه السلام). I can ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) to send my blessing and salaam To Prophet and ask God that He let the Prophet knows my situation and ask also forgiveness for my behalf.
  6. This topic was actually about Intercession of the Prophet (saws), and not about his infallibility.
  7. There are a lot verses that talks about the infallible of the ones that God choose them to represent and to guide the people and I do not have time to bring them all. But I can summarize by few Quran verses that refute the Jewish and Christianity viewpoint about prophets being sinful and that it only can indicate that only infallible can be followed: ....and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one.”(Qur’an 76:24) "O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger and do not burn your deeds (by disobeying him).”(Qur’an 47:33) "Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah.”(Qur’an 4:80) God show lessons from those who do evil and injustice to warn us from it consciousness and at the same time He gives us hope for repentance. As for Prophets, He does not use them as the same manner as the sinner but He uses them as the light and hope to be followed: “Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example to follow for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.” (Al-Quran 33:21) “And verily, you (Muhammad) are on an exalted (standard of) character.”[ Al Quran 68:4 ] Exactly, because they are fallible like us who take from infallible ones. When it comes to belief, you need yourself to investigate and can not imitate or blind follow others.
  8. Yes Qur'an does teach the infallibility of Prophets. The Bible is very horrible how it portray the prophets, and we do not believe in such thing because we believe the prophets have reached highest of faith and have purified themselves by God help from all diseases of heart. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) choose them for to guide the people and be His proof and representative in earth and He have told that He will protect them from people, shaytan and sins. The Prophets do not need to sin to show how God forgive them and be our exampler. Actually if there is a sinful prophets who call people to follow God they will already lose their trust. Because no one can trust a sinful person who claim that his message is from God.
  9. At least they have some effective. I already took my second one and I believe it shall be my last one too.
  10. The Prophet (saws) can interceed because he is not really a sinner, nor any of the prophets either are sinners. The Prophets as being infallible, out of their humbleness and humility they ask forgivness from God. Sometimes amoung believers they could have intentions to do some worship, but then something happen in the way and they could not perfom it, and out of their humbleness they ask forginess to God, even when it is not sin. Intercession is not limited only to Prophets (عليه السلام) and Imams (عليه السلام), but even the fallible believers can interceed in hereafter because at that time their sins have been already forgiven and they become pure.
  11. Salaam Aleikum, « And seek forgiveness for your sins O Muhammad, and for the believing men and the believing women. » [47:19] And our actions are presented to Prophet Muhammad (saws) and he seeks forgiveness to us. This is the beautiful intercession in this life and hereafter. I don't know how can this not be enough proof that we literally can ask God to make our Prophet to know about our situation and to seek forgiveness to us too, which literally is intercession.
  12. One good thing with the intellectual Atheist is that they ponder very deeply on the subject where there is no God, and they admit like Schopenhauer that a reality without God is nothing but despair. Every human being will taste the bitterness of the reality and all those negative attributes and they can only lie to themselves that everything is going to be better, but how so when you are going to repeat the same cycle of despair. The reality is not cold as long we believe in God, because God gives us hope and we will see the reality in truth trough the hopeful heart which is nothing but beauty. God says: قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ He (Prophet Abraham (عليه السلام)) said, “Who can lose hope in the mercy of his Lord except those who have lost the straight path?” (Surah Al-Hijr, 15:56)
  13. InshaAllah I try to find out the narration.
  14. Actually the reason why he acted in that way is to protect his shias that would have been killed and abused more by his enemies.
  15. When it comes to the esoteric knowledge (baatini) , you may find the influence of Ghulat extremist in these particular subject, but when it comes to jurisprudence and the matters of Religion then you mostly will find abstain of ghulat from it. You need to take the moderate path, that every Imams (عليه السلام) taught to their followers. The one with full of jurisprudence teaching and understanding of the Tawheed of God, the Qur'an and the principles of Islam. And the Imams (عليه السلام) were the most knowledgeable people and the inherited of the Prophet Muhammad (saws), the true guidance.
  16. Salaam Aleikum, Do we have any authentic narration that support such a statement?
  17. Salaam Aleikum, He said: Abul Hasan ‘Ali ibn Bilal al-Malhabi reported to me from Abdullah ibn Rashid al-Ishfahani, who reported from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Thaqafi, who reported from Ahmad ibn Shimr, who reported from Abdullah ibn Maymoon al-Makki, the client of Banu Makhzoon, from Ja'far al-Sadiq ibn Muhammad al-Baqir, peace be upon them, from his father who said: Once, Amirul Mu’mineen ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib peace be upon him, was offered a sweet dish called Khubais (mixture of dates, raisins and ghee), but he refused to eat it. They said: "Do you consider it forbidden?" He said, "No, but I fear that my heart may become so desirous of it, that I am forced to come out in its quest." Then he recited the verse: '....You have vested all your good deeds, for the enjoyment in the life of this world....'(Al-Ahqaf, 46:20) The day when the faithless are exposed to the Fire, [they will be told,] ‘You have exhausted your good things in the life of the world and enjoyed them. So today you will be requited with a humiliating punishment for your acting arrogantly in the earth unduly, and because you used to transgress.’
  18. Salaam Aleikum You must mean brother @Abu Hadi
  19. I agree now with the same conclusion, thank you for all the narrations you brought us. Jazakallah khayran brother.
  20. Here is sahih hadith that believers are created from the clay of paradise: 2. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from ‘Amr ibn Aban from Jabir al-Juhfi who has said the following: “Once I became depressed in the presence of abu Ja’far ((عليه السلام).) and asked him, ‘May Allah keep my soul in service for your cause, why is it that sometimes I feel depressed without any apparent cause or incident? Even my family and friends notice it on my face.’ The Imam said, ‘Yes O Jabir, Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has created the clay of the believers from the clay of paradise and has made the fragrance of His spirit flow through it; thus, a believer is a brother (in belief) of a believer from his father and mother. When a spirit of those spirits is distressed anywhere with a sadness the other spirits also feel sad; this is from that (clay of paradise).”’ Grading: Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi: صحيح - Mir‘at al ‘Uqul Fi Sharh Akhbar Al al Rasul (9/9)
  21. Only in recent time. And there would be another time where they will criticize other Islamic principles. I mean what is the point if aisha is 9 or 18, the concept of marrying 9 year old is still valid in Islam. If something is valid it does not mean we can use it to satisfy our evil needs, rather marriage is not allowed for evil intention that causes harms.
  22. It is haram to force them to marriage. And it is haram to have sex that causes harm to them.
  23. My grandmother married at age of 13-14 to much more older man who is my grandfather. She felt first scary and confusing but then she loved him so much till his last breath. Both of them were religious and honorable. Nothing is wrong with their marriage and this kind of marriage was common thing in old days. Now days we are living in very different time and environment where young people are not matured enough and nor do they want to marry either. Thus it is mostly wrong because it will lead to mental problems and all kind of abuses and haram actions. Islam do not accept these kind of marriages that leads people do destruction and haram. Now days people use words like wrong very loosely according to their own whims. If marriage at young age brings nothing but goodness, then where is this element of wrong is found in such a marriage that brings nothing but goodness to call such a marriage as absolutely wrong?
  24. Salaam Aleikum I need to check the narration that I was once reading. Perhaps It only meant from earth.
  25. If Imam Ali (عليه السلام) refuses something, it does not mean that he agrees that political leadership should give to people to decide. Imam Ali (عليه السلام) knows very well the truth that it is him who succeeded the Prophet as the master of believers, and everyone who disagree with it and start to make their saqifas and choose political leadership among themselves is nothing but an sinful person even if Imam Ali (عليه السلام) ignores them.
