  1. The whole point is that this spirit is not GOD. No Jews before Jesus (عليه السلام) ever understood the Spirit some kind of part of His Essence. God created the spirit to help the believers, it is not somehow part of God. God's Ruach (Ruh) is one of the ten creations according the Jews interpretation of the torah.

Tohu and vohu, as it is written: “And the earth was unformed and void [tohu vavohu]” (Genesis 1:2). Light and darkness; darkness, as it is written: “And darkness was upon the face of the deep” (Genesis 1:2); light, as it is written: “And God said: Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3). Wind and water, as it is written: “And the wind of God hovered over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2). The length of day and the length of night, as it is written: “And there was evening, and there was morning, one day” (Genesis 1:5).
  4. I'm talking about this part "God is Father, Word and Holy Spirit". No Jew will interpret as how Paul and later Christians interpret these words. Genesis 1:2 "a wind from God sweeping over the water" Wind from God, Not God sweeping over the water. God does not have literal spirit, rather when God say My Spirit, It can mean that He honors the Human soul (I have blown My Spirit into him) or that He give an assistance trough this spirit (Ruh al Quds).
  5. It is an creation of God that support the prophets by God commands, not God Himself.
  6. It is not taught by old testament, rather it is late Christian interpretation of old testament. Before Jesus (عليه السلام) and Christianity, the prophets never taught that what christians inteprate of old testament today.
  7. What is the definition of evil eye is? Is it that the person who cast an evil eye to some other person means that he becomes envy to the person and he start to hate him, planning to cause him destruction and fail? Or is it some kind of powerful effect that the person cast to other such that the other will change in negative way? Or both? Thank you for the great article brother.
  8. Exactly appear rational but they really are not and their arguments can easily refute by rational people but not by people who don't use rational thinking. Unfortunately this is the current trending that make people leave Religion, to make it look absurd.
  9. God is always working for us but it is us who reject Him and disobey that causes us to sin. When it is said to do good deeds, it means to let God help you in guidance and lead you to justice and do not approach the evil. “Allah does not want difficulty for you, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His favor upon you, that you may be grateful.” Quranic verse 5:6
  10. So when Imams (عليه السلام) says that they are the names of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), it never even means The names of Allah of absolute. And how could it be because they are only ment for Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) to regonize Him. It would be wonderful to know the authenticity of the narration, if possible.
  11. As long they respect other Muslims and don’t persecute them because of their different beliefs, that would be fine. Time will tell.
  12. The situation is that he, like many others, is surrounded by people calling themselves Shia but promoting ideas and practices that have no real basis in our religion. It is a general issue in many communities today. Mostly in west this happens where people are biggest talkers but rarely they truly worship and take their religion seriously. The surrounding will see the religion as joke and mostly leave the religion all together.

  14. The sincerity is very admirable for wanting to come close to God when the whole world and shaytan is trying to destroy you from the path of God and take your imaan away, no matter where you belong.

[Only] exclusive faith is worthy of Allah, and those who take guardians besides Him [claiming,] ‘We only worship them so that they may bring us near to Allah,’ Allah will indeed judge between them concerning that about which they differ. Indeed Allah does not guide someone who is a liar and an ingrate. - Of course their problem is that they worshipped the Idols, thinking that doing so will bring them close to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى). But this also tells us that people can fall to this type of worshipping, if they take the Imams (عليه السلام) to the extreme love that will take them outside of Islam.
  16. That is a assumption without proof and it is not an fact and you will not find any facts because this is an subjective matter. I can only talk about of my observation and experience is that most people are making basic mistakes in reasoning. Because of this they will have poor understanding about anything and thus they will never find any satisfactory answers in the first place.
  17. I don't have time to continue this discussion because I feel in the end it is just futile. My only advice is that seek more knowledge insha'Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and may God guide us to His right path.
  18. It is not pointless at all if the person have reached after the research and concluded that the teaching of Sunni or Shia or whatever sect is right. All of them are still called Muslims, because they believe in Islam and the principles of Islam. The thing with us is that we all believe in mostly same principles but we differ with their interpretation. I agree with you that they are debatable and does not have same certainty than Qur'an, but some of the narrations do have certainty that can not be rejected. About calling Imam Ali (عليه السلام). I'm in the position that I do not reject or accept the concept, because I really do not understand the whole concept in the first place. So I prefer to call Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) directly and safely which have been showed in Qur'an many times and our Imams (عليه السلام) followed the same steps. Of course there is list where as Shia we believe that the Prophet (saws) did and believed but then Sunnis or others reject it. One is the most important thing is Wilayah of Imam Ali (عليه السلام). Everyone call themselves Muslims. Prophet is not identified as anything of this because everyone was united by the Prophet himself. After Prophet (saws) demise people separated, disunited and formed their own interpretations. If God send us Imam Mehdi (عليه السلام), he will connect all of us and there would be only one sect and all others will be vanished: And say: Truth has now arrived, and Falsehood has perished 17:81
  19. Then what exactly is our problem here then? We have the rule that if narrations contradict the Qur'an then it needs to throw it away. This means that narrations do not have any authority over Qur'an, but Qur'an have authority over narrations.

  22. So how do you know what Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) thinks and cares? You should remind silent if you don't know, because you could fall easily to the following verse: And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah ? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord." Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers. As for example the praying, we have more proof that we are correct and you are wrong. First the reasoning tell us that if Prophet Muhammad (saws) is introducing the prayer to the Muslims, then he also must defined it to us. Second, majority of the Muslims in the time of Prophet Muhammad (saws) observed the ritual actions in prayer and this continued till this day. Third we have historical account and narrations about the existence of these rituals in prayer. What is the proof that as for the praying we don't need to do any ritual act and you can do it freely? If the Prophet (saws) did salat in ritualistic way and so did all the Muslims, how did you come to conclusion that that is not necessary at all. One of the reason to stick to Sunnah of the Prophet, is exactly so that we don't fall to the innovations and our desires to follow what we think is right. [We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.

  24. The truth is exactly that what they truly said and happened in reality. We can only investigate from all different perspective and use aql to reach the truth. For example: Iblees knows the truth but out of his envy he reject to follow the command. Or those people who knows that Prophet Muhammad (saws) is right, but because of dislike of commandments of God, they don't want to follow.
  25. Beautiful Iraqi Government, just welcome every oppressor, tyrant and enemy of Islam to our imams (عليه السلام) shrines. No wonder this country will never be blessed like this.
