  1. Salam alaikum, I have this thought that is bothering me. Was Aisha alive during the Tragedy of Karbala? She is reported to have died two years after. What was her reaction to the news of the tragedy? We know of her reaction during the martyrdom of Imam Hassan (عليه السلام) and preventing him from being buried near his grandfather (s). What of her reaction to the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (عليه السلام)? I've never heard of any report about her reaction to Karbala. What if Aisha had cried for Imam Hussein? This is for instance. Could such a report not be
  2. Salam brothers, please this question bothers me quite often. I find myself many at times away from a convenient place to urinate and clean up. Sometimes I may be on construction sites and bush like environment. When the urge to urinate comes, I have to ease myself in a nearby bush. I always try to ensure I have water with me to clean up. When cleaning my organ with water, I sometimes realize that there are tiny drops of water, during washing myself, that splash on my shoe or the end of my trouser. Is the water drop on my clothes that splashed in the process of washing my private org

  4. I really wonder why this topic hasn't gain much attention on this forum. if its to post pictures of Quds Day in Zaria, everyone would and then boast that "look what the Shia are doing". but when they get massacred, little attention is given. 5. thank you all for the replies great replies, especially the last two.may Allah reward you all.
  6. salam brother for the sake of clarification on your statement, please can you explain what you mean by "near descendants of Ibrahim (as)". what do you mean by 12 in two contexts? are the 12 tribes different from 12 offspring? then how did the 12 tribes emerge? thank you.
  7. just to clarify,Bashar al-Assad cannot be the/a "sufyani" because he did not descended from abu sufyan.the Assad family like others in syria and lebanon descended from Banu Assad.this is the same clan that buried the martyrs of Karbala.i stand to be corrected if the sufyani can be a descendant not of abu sufyan.
  8. (salam) i want to revive this thread since there is unconfirmed report coming from riyadh and jeddah that the king of saudi arabia is dead and there is high tension in saudi arabia and state of hightened alert. please,it would be of great help and use if someone can present to us an old copy of Musnad Ahmad (before the rule of Al-Saud) containing the stated hadith in the OP. Jazakum Allah Khair!
  9. thank you for the link.upon examining the link,i saw that the references of the narrations are all sharh-nahjul-balagha of Ibn Hadid. also, the hadiths are in arabic.is there any other source you can provide me from Sunni hadith books and preferably in english? may Allah reward you for the effort! thank you for the suggestion.i will try to see if i can find the book and also it has to be in english.i do not understand urdu. thanks for mentioning. i have read that about Ammar Ibn Yassir (ra) and have presented it as well.but the stumbling block is on finding the needed material on Abu Dhar (ra
  10. thank you both for trying to help out. please can anyone still post the actual narrations or excerpts and their references from Sunni sources only. the reference given by brother Abu Dujana is appreciated.but i could not find the history of al-tabari online to copy the needed parts on Abu Dhar (ra).i also do not have a hard copy to scan. please kindly assist me with the narrations and their references strictly from Sunni sources.
  11. a very foolish man! can you imagine how much "power" and "support" from the west and "israel" would hezbollah, the shia and bashar al-assad get if they decide to embrace "israel" and stop their fight against israeli cruelty towards the sunni palestinians and israeli occupation and threats? this man is totally insane or rather simply cheap and a sell-out who donated his soul to the devil.
  12. please someone should kindly assist me with the hadiths.i need them urgently in a debate with a Sunni.
  13. wahhabi filth on the rampage again! when the world see Islam and Muslims for truly what we are and be able to discriminate and know who and what a wahhabi jahily is?when would they see wahhabis are a menace to Islam and to humanity at large? may Allah's curse be upon the tyrants.their days are numbered as our Lady Zainab (as) rightly said.may their end come sooner than later. may Allah curse the royal families in saudi arabia, bahrain, kuwait, qatar and in all countries where they oppress the defenseless. it won't be more than insulting those pigs who call themselves "kings" and "emirs".or sendi

Jazakumullah Khayr!
  15. inshaAllah more people get to see all of the above and know the truth about an issue that the enemies of Islam use to attack muslims.
  16. Is it true that Lady Khadijah (peace be upon Her) was older than the Prophet (peace be upon Him & His family)? Question : Assalamo alaikom Is it true that the wife Khadija (p) of the Prophete (sawas) was older than him? Thank you to answer Assalamo alaikom wa rahmatollah Haidar Answer : In His Name the Most High, All praise is due to Allah, may peace be upon Muhammad and his pure progeny and may the curse of Allah be upon their enemies. The Office Answer: Assalamu Alaikum, According to what has been narrated in Biharul-Anwar on the authority of Ibn Hammad and Ibn Abbas, the holy Prophet
  17. THE POSSIBLE REASONS BEHIND THE FABRICATIONS THAT AISHA WAS 9 YEARS AND EXPOSING THE LIES: A'isha was not a child when the Prophet (Allah's Peace and Blessings upon Him and His pure Family) married her This article is the transcription of a lecture delivered by His Eminence Allama Sheikh Yasser Al-Habib Enemies of Islam – be they Christians, Jews or other groups have often used the matter of the Prophet's marriage (Allah's Peace and Blessings upon Him and His pure Family) to A'isha as a weapon against this Great Prophet (Allah's Peace and Blessings upon Him and His pure Family). They rely on
  18. Notes: (AISHA WAS NOT 9 YEARS OLD OR A CHILD WHEN THE PROPHET MARRIED HER) [8] The popular version of ‘Ãisha’s youth age has been exploited by the anti-Islamic groups to attack the Prophet “for marrying a child”. The fact of the matter is that Lady ‘Ãisha was not a child when she was married in 2 AH to the Prophet. At-Tabari, the famous Muslim historian, writes that Abu Bakr’s first two wives and their children were all born in the pre-Islamic era. (Ta’rīkh at-Tabari, vol. 2 [beirut: al-A‘lami, n.d.] p. 616.) Based on this, even if she was born a year before the commencement of Islam, ‘Ãisha w
  19. first before i disagree and correct the above quoted point, let me commend you for the beautiful post even though i prefer to say and strongly believe the verse 4:34 from context, grammar and in light of other verses does not promote physical hitting but to separate or moving away to deprive the woman. regarding the argument that had the verse promoted the idea of separation (instead of to hit),the word "AAN" would have been used in relation to the word "idribu" is not really necessary. the word "idribu" itself even if taken to mean "strike" is a measure that can be applied without using the han
  20. Why did the Holy Prophet of Islam marry several wives? http://www.askthesheikh.com/why-did-the-holy-prophet-of-islam-marry-several-wives/ Question: What I understand is that a man is allowed to marry once, yet depending on the highly unlikely criteria laid down in Surah Nisa (relating to justice), he may marry more than once (if he can keep justice between them). However the Prophet (p) had a total of 12 wives, out of which 9 were alive at the time of his death. What was the reason for this? Answer: In the old days, there was generally no government social benefits and services, and thus, wome
  21. first i must say he (the salafist preacher in the video displaying youthful exuberance) is very ridiculous for him to say the people of south lebanon know the fact that hezbollah are not defending them against the zionists.are hezbollah members not from south lebanon? are the people of south lebanon not historically shia? these salafists being empty-headed are irritating when they display their stupidity! as the question of what would happen to hezbollah if the assad regime falls,i see the following scenario: hezbollah in lebanon represents the largest religious community and their legitimacy
  22. THERE ARE NINE PLAGUES (OR DIVINE PUNISHMENTS AS SIGNS) ON EGYPT ACCORDING TO THE HOLY QURAN: Holy Quran 7:132-136 And they said, "No matter what sign you bring us with which to bewitch us, we will not be believers in you."So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people. And when the punishment descended upon them, they said, "O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely believe you, and we will send with you the Children of Isr
  23. the age of her marriage is something that can easily be found to be a source of dispute.in Sheikh Yasser al-Habib's website, there is an excellent point made in relation to the age of Lady Khadijah.he actually said that sunnis inflate the age of Lady Khadijah (as) in order to make Aisha's young age look more appealing in line with their saying that Aisha was the Prophet's (sa) "favourite wife".and we all know that to the admission and jealousy of Aisha against Lady Khadijah (as),Aisha could not have being the "favourite wife".Lady Khadijah (as),the grandmother of our holy Imams (as) was the Pro
  24. are you trying to be funny or what? how are sunnis in northern afghanistan more "shia" than the Shia of Lebanon? are you okay?or do you need a doctor?
  25. (salam) the hadiths state only 3 persons did not apostate.but to my knowledge, there were five persons among the sahaba who we hold in high esteem in addition to Zuhair Ibn Qayn who was a shaheed of Karbala with Imam Hussain (as).the five are: al-Miqdad,Ammar,Salman,Jabir Ibn Abdullah al-Ansari,and Bilal (ra).with Zuhair (ra),we already have 6 among the sahaba who are regarded by us Shia in high esteem. i dont know how that goes down with the hadiths stating only three sahaba.may be there are factors responsible for naming only three instead of six if the hadiths naming three are sahih.
