What War With Iran Would Look Like
mahmood8726 replied to Eddie Mecca's topic in Politics/Current Events
looks like you spoke too soon: Iran has warned that it will target British forces in the Chagos Islands if Donald Trump attacks the country - Telegraph "There will be no distinction in targeting British or American forces if Iran is attacked from any base in the region or within the range of Iranian missiles." a senior Iranian military official told The Telegraph. “When the time comes, it won’t matter whether you’re an American, or British soldier – you will be targeted if your base is used by Americans," he added. British government spokesman on Saturday condemned Iran's threats: "The UK Government continues to work with partners across the region to encourage de-escalation. The base on Diego Garcia is vital to UK and US security and plays a crucial role in maintaining regional and international security."* -

I haven't followed much on that so I can't comment On the base in specific in the indian ocean? I don't know. But on American threats for the last 2 months? They haven't been quiet, they said that they're ready for any threat and told America to not be so stupid as to attack iran. That base in the Indian ocean is part of the threats being sent about these 2 months deadline, so Iran probably told America to not be stupid knowing full well that they intend to hit Iran. -

Ill just leave this: Us official tells Axios the surge of airpower into the Pacific-Indian region, including B-2 bombers sent to Diego Garcia,is linked to Trump’s 2-month deadline for Iran. Trump is already carrying out his attacks on the houthis without this massive gathering of B2 bombers, as we speak, so its very likley it's Iran. Keep an eye on the may 1st deadline. -

Hamas Surprise Attack: Operation 'Al-Aqsa Storm'
mahmood8726 replied to Eddie Mecca's topic in Politics/Current Events
Anyways, speaking of YNET, another major revelation has just been made public: YNET: The security and military establishments had plans to eliminate Sinwar and Deif simultaneously before October 7, 2023. YNET: Following the failure of the assassination attempts against Mohammed Deif and Yahya Sinwar in previous battles, a carefully considered plan was developed to carry out the assassination in 2023, prior to Hamas's attack. -

Yes but YNET is only authorised to release that stuff if millitary censorship allows is it and is lifted on that event. They didn't get into legal trouble for releasing it. -

I'm starting to be more and more convinced I was maybe pushing for Iran to build a nuke without thinking much of the logistics or moral implications and the fact that Iran has a lot of missiles which serves as a deterrence in of itself. Propaganda and co has sometimes questionable takes, sometimes being delusional enough to thinking hts will attack Israel with hezbollah, amongst other things. -

Well correction, the lebanese army did respond to HTS invasions in Lebanon multiple times now in assistance of the lebanese drug cartels and shia clans in eastern Lebanon and did force HTS into a ceasefire twice. -

Syria gave up their chemical weapons in 2013, that's what I meant. They used to have chemical weapons like saddam hussein in Iraq. And yes Iran made a fatwa, but it needs to be revised because it would be a good deterrence. Did you also see what america is doing today? They just put 7 B2 stealth bombers in the Indian ocean under Yemen and Iran and they seem to be planning a massive attack on Iran. 7 B2 bombers is a lot. Here take a look: https://t.me/medmannews/19304 So, I think something is going to happen tonight, within the range of at least a week. The United States Air Force has 7 B-2 Stealth bombers in Diego Garcia. You do not concentrate 7 B-2 Stealth bombers in Diego Garcia for no reason. Somebody is getting bombed, and getting bombed bad. The closest thing I can recall is US Iraqi Freedom, but even then what, they were only 3 B-2s? Its bad. https://t.me/Middle_East_Spectator/16764 BREAKING: The US has issued a NOTAM (Notice To Air Men) for the joint US-UK Diego Garcia airbase in the Indian Ocean South Ramp parking spots B1 and B2 will remain closed until May 1st 2025, indicating that massive US air assets will continue to fly into the island in the next two months. They are setting the stage for something huge, and this many assets are not needed simply for Yemen. They're preparing for Iran. @Middle_East_Spectator Iran needs some sort of deterrence before this happens. -

https://t.me/syrianchristian/2274 Russian Troops Deploy Across Latakia Countryside for First Time Since Assad’s Collapse This morning, Russian forces began deploying into multiple towns surrounding the Khmeimim Airbase in Latakia, marking the first deployment outside Russia’s bases on Syrian soil since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government. Russian troops have taken control of al-Qubaisiya, Bakhdarmo, and Khirbet al-Ashar. The stated goal is to bolster security around Khmeimim and relieve pressure on the 7,000+ Alawite civilians who have sought refuge within the airbase amid growing instability. -

Its expected of him to favour his country, but he needs to understand that Iran would be foolish to not get a nuke, they need to do what north korea did, otherwise they will end up like Syria. Syria is the way it is because it gave up its chemical weapons and complied with the west, america only cared about Syria getting rid of its chemical weapons so that they can invade them. Complying with the west at this point is a death warrant. Even pezeshkian has the common sense to see its stupid and he was pro american negotiation. This is why it was important for america and its allies to respect international law, it would have prevented Russia from invading Ukraine because they would have taken sovreignty seriously, it would have prevented Iran from potentially violating the npt because international law would have been upheld and treates not violated. Actions have consequences and america and its allies shouldn't be crying now that the world is falling into an imperialist world again and this world order is falling apart. Irans reluctance to violate international law when it's ennemies do so 24/7 is honestly what made me realise Iran is in the right side of history, no other country would have tolerated this nonsense. Irans adherence to international law is litterally driving their own supporters nuts. The same goes with irans allies, so many people had expectations of them, but because they insist on being moral, these expectations were shattered. -

Jordan Peterson's Message To The Muslim World
mahmood8726 replied to Eddie Mecca's topic in General Islamic Discussion
from what I typed, it should be evident that the red pill is not compatible with islam at all, when it goes to these extreemes (which is not vague I even gave examples), it outright violates basic islamic rulings such as the pump and dump mentality for example. It's just that our definitions of traditionalism differ to a certain extent. I'll give you another example, the red pill, or some of them atleast, don't want women to be able to divorce them, this is mainly due to catholic influence, you've seen it with this red pill girl who is an athletic person, she advocated for not allowing women to divorce and not being allowed to vote because of millitary conscription laws and she's not the only one advocating for this. This is incompatible with islam, although it's discouraged to divorce, women are well beyond their rights to divorce and I don't remember islam having a this weird mentality on voting. Its like with femenism, Islam has many things that are in femenism, but it's by no means compatible with femenism because femenism goes into the other extreeme for its solutions towards helping women. -
Jordan Peterson's Message To The Muslim World

Islam has more similarities to socialism than with capitalism from what ive seen. I've seen knowledgeable mumins actually claim "socialism is Islam but without god" and the mumins i know who claimed this, are not leftists by any means. -
Jordan Peterson's Message To The Muslim World
mahmood8726 replied to Eddie Mecca's topic in General Islamic Discussion
islam is more similar to Socialism, to the point I've seen some people claim "islamic is Socialism but with god" In the Arab world??? Not a chance, most of them love imitating westerners and want to live like them. If there is xenophobia in muslim countries, its towards brown people to the point where most of the islamic world the notion of having more pale/white skin is seen as a prestigious and a nice thing, rather than having a tan/browner skin like in the west, it's the polar opposite. -
What War With Iran Would Look Like

Scott is being a bit disingenious here, as one of the replies pointed out, his fanboying over Trump is clouding his judgment. He thinks that Iran making diplomacy with America would be the best solution and being "realistic", which is a very stupid claim to make considering that same America and Trump administration tore up the iranian deal and backstabbed Iran, why would Iran agree to this? The realistic solution would be for Iran to arm itself with nukes, why should Iran respect the NPT when their ennemies violate international law and treaties constantly? These treates and international laws have become a joke because of america and its allies. Scott is being unrealistic in expecting Iran to sign some nuclear deal with america to give up their millitary nuclear technology in exchange for Russian civilian nuclear energy and no sanctions, knowing full well that their civilian nuclear program is sufficient and america would not abide by the nuclear deal, Iran would be foolish in accepting a deal with america. Scott is also being disingenious by starting this off claiming that irans behaviour prompted Trump to do this, no, america has wanted to destroy Iran and its nuclear program for decades, it was their top priority for decades. If Trump doesn't want Iran to build a nuke, then he should stop instigating Iran, threatening to bomb it and giving the green light for Israel to bomb Iran, this all started because israel wants war with Iran. It's crazy how many times I catch Scott sneak subtle propaganda like this many times. -

This journalist from the atlantic got added by accident in their chat? And he's not getting in trouble? And the conversation looks too unrealistic. I don't buy this story 1 bit. If this is real then, it's funny, it shows they genuinely hate Europe "freeloathing" them despite being their vassals and that they planned to do the attack on the houthis to "send a message" instead of the houthis being an actual threat. Also Micheal waltz using emojis .

Lebanon - "Israel" ceasefire 2024
mahmood8726 replied to mahmood8726's topic in Politics/Current Events
This picture has nothing to do with what's happening today, but it's extreemly relevant, it shows what happens when Lebanon choses the diplomatic route with Israel. This is from decades ago, when Israelis were beseiging beiruit I beleive. Keep in mind the Israeli government back then was far more tame than this one with natenyahu and it was still this brutal and barbaric. -

Ynet an israeli zionist liberal outlet is not a pro palestinian news site I promise you that. https://www.ynet.co.il/yedioth/article/yokra14303894 Why would they leak it? YNET is a liberal zionist publication, they hate natenyahu and will try and blame what the idf did on natenyahu. But this is very much real and it fits with natenyahus character, he's even more psychotic than your average psychotic Israeli soldier. -
https://t.me/Middle_East_Spectator/16722 To some Muslims supporting the protests in Turkey currently: Yes, I dislike Erdogan. Many of us do. Yes, he can often be a hypocrite. However, Erdogan at the very least is overtly pro-Palestine, even if only in rhetoric, and he has openly praised Hamas. Additionally, he benefits the interests of the Muslims in Turkey. The protests ongoing currently, which are anti-Erdogan and pro-Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, are not a positive development, especially if you're a Resistance supporter. In 2024, Imamoglu called Hamas a 'terrorist organization', and said the October 7th attack 'deeply saddened him'. Additionally, Imamoglu is part of the CHP party, Turkey's 'Republican People's Party', which is known to be Kemalist and highly secular in nature. We need to be mature and realize that while Erdogan can be heavily criticized, his deposal may not be a positive thing at all, and could put an even worse political force in power. https://t.me/Middle_East_Spectator/16723 I will stick by this, the Middle East has had far too many 'mindless revolutions'. Simply overthrowing someone we don't like, without thinking about a viable future alternative, is an extremely stupid thing to do. As much as I hate erdogan, he's making a good point here, were being put in a disgusting moral dilemma, on one hand erdogans government is commiting massacres on Syrian minorities and the opposition to erdogans opinion on Syria is not really known, some like kevork claiming he's better than erdogan on Syria, but on the other hand, the opposition of erdogan is going to suck up to Israel and America even more than erdogan. I can't beleive I'm considering having to defend that peice of swine, he's even worse than bashar or gaddafi combined.

Lebanon - "Israel" ceasefire 2024
mahmood8726 replied to mahmood8726's topic in Politics/Current Events
The United Nations: 'We reaffirm that Hezbollah has implemented its side of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon in full. There has been no Hezbollah activity recorded South of the Litani River. We urgently call upon Israel to implement its side of the ceasefire agreement, and we call upon the Lebanese Government and the ceasefire monitoring committee as well.' The UN a pro american organisation confirmed that hezbollah abided by the ceasefire. You had Israel give this stupid accusation that hezb launched rockets, which isn't true, the lebanese army discovered this: its probably some palestinians who decided to fire rockets. Now israeli terrorists did a major bombing campaign, killing many civilians including children. -

The video in question: Lebanon too, this is not a good sign. Especially when some maronite fascist "Christians" are getting bolder with their claims of wanting to normalise, just last week one of them went on lebanese TV and told the host I beleive, "you should say you want peace with israel now willingly, because in a few months you won't have a choice to say it". Many people took it as a joke, but I don't, they're passing it as a joke in order to normalise this rethoric, to normalise having peace with a genocidal entity.
