  1. 1. Preventing Russian enemies (NATO, the US), from having bases right on the border. It'd be like if Russia had military bases right on the US-Mexico border. There was no way Moscow would accept more NATO expansion. This is why Russia is in the Middle East as well: because they know that the only way to keep some sort of balance in the world is to fight the West. 2. Saving the ethnic Russians in the Donbass regions. For eight years, these Russian-speaking residents were oppressed and killed by the Zionist Ukrainian regime. They were pleading for Russia to recognise Donetsk and Lugansk as independent states, which the Kremlin did just before the invasion. Now, Russia is fighting against nazis and neo-nazis in these regions, in order to save the civilians. The invasion overall was the best move Russia could have possibly done. No one intelligent would like to see the US controlling more of the world.
  2. God bless you. It's nice to be recognised as 'the fifth school of fiqh'. Maybe then people will use common sense and follow the grandson of the Prophet instead of some random scholars.

  4. Walaikom assalam. I think that "excessive repentance from the heart" and "certain words" are one and the same thing. The duas that the Ahlulbayt have left for us are, in essence, excessive repentance from the heart. Like Dua Kumeyl. If Dua Kumeyl isn't excessive repentance from the heart, I don't know what it is. Although of course, Imam al-Zaman a.t.f.s is alive. We can benefit from him while in occultation in the same way that we benefit from the sun while behind the clouds, as the Imam himself says. Besides, we have tens of thousands of narrations of the Imams of Ahlulbayt. There are so many things that we still learn from these narrations. Of course not, because we still have hadeeths from the Ahlulbayt about duas and prayers. One can just pick up al-Sahifat al-Sajjadiyya or Mafatih al-Jinan and read a supplication for anything. Al-Sahifat al-Sajjadiyya: https://www.amazon.com/Sahifa-Sajjadiya-Supplications-Imam-Sajjad/dp/B09FS9DYX4/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2BT8FVS0FE1SL&keywords=sahifa+sajjadiyya&qid=1656046448&sprefix=sahifa%2Caps%2C620&sr=8-5 Mafatih al-Jinan: https://www.amazon.com/Mafatih-al-Jinan-Translation-Supplications-Observances/dp/1073502597/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1EFS5DBGWJZ87&keywords=mafatih+al+jinan&qid=1656046452&sprefix=mafatih%2Caps%2C382&sr=8-1 Well there's a certain way of talking to God. Imagine if two people came to you, both begging for money. The first person just asks you to please give him some money. The second person uses the most eloquent language that you've ever heard, almost like poetry, asking for you to help them. Who's more persuasive, the first or the second? The second is definitely more likely to get money. Similarly, those who use the words of Ahlulbayt to address Allah are more likely to be forgive/blessed. And if someone truly wants to repent, why wouldn't they use the words of Ahlulbayt anyway? May Allah bless you and your family and grant you Jannat al-Firdaus. The difference between God and the drunk man mentioned in your story is that God knows our thoughts. If the fishermen had known that the drunk man would betray them after they saved him, would they still be as willing to save them? Similarly, if God knows that while you are repenting you're planning to go back sinning again, will He forgive your sin? However, of course, God's mercy is infinitely more than that of the hypothetical fishermen. God forgives large and small sins abundantly. But part of the conditions of repentance being accepted is that while you are repenting, you're sincerely planning to keep away from sin. May God bless you and your family and grant you the highest level of Heaven.
  5. Walaikom assalam, قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: قالت أم سليمان بن داود لسليمان عليه السلام: إياك وكثرة النوم بالليل فان كثرة النوم تدع الرجل فقيرا يوم القيامة "Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: The mother of Suleiman ibn Dawood said to Suleiman (عليه السلام): "Beware of sleeping too much at night, for too much sleep leaves a man poor on the Day of Resurrection." (Source: بحار الأنوار - العلامة المجلسي - ج ٧٣ - الصفحة ١٨٠ / Bihar Al-Anwar -Allameh Al-Majlisi - Vol. 73, Pg. 18) عنه (صلى الله عليه وآله): إن الله تعالى يبغض كل جعظري جواظ سخاب في الأسواق، جيفة بالليل، حمار بالنهار، عالم بالدنيا، جاهل بالآخرة From him (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم): "God the Most High hates every carrion that hangs around in the marketplace, carrion by night, donkey by day..." (Source: ميزان الحكمة - محمد الريشهري - ج ١ - الصفحة ٢٧٢ / Meezan Al-Hikmeh - Mohammed al-Reeshhari - Vol. 1, Pg. 676) وعن محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن ابن فضال، عمن ذكره، عن بشير الدهان قال: سمعت أبا الحسن موسى عليه السلام يقول: إن الله عز وجل يبغض العبد النوام الفارغ. And on the authority of Muhammad bin Yahya, on the authority of Ahmad bin Muhammad, on the authority of Ibn Faddal, on the authority of whom he mentioned, on the authority of Bashir al-Dahan, who said: "I heard Abul-Hasan Musa (عليه السلام) say: "God Almighty hates the empty sleeper slave." (Source: وسائل الشيعة (آل البيت) - الحر العاملي - ج ١٧ - الصفحة ٥٨ / Wasa'il al-Shi'a (Aal Al-Beit) - Alhar Al-Amili - Vol. 17, Pg. 58) May Allah bless you and your family and give you Jannat al-Firdaus.
Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return. [2:156] May Allah bless them and grant the good from them Jannat al-Firdaus.
  7. Imam al-Sadiq (عليه السلام) says that if he had 17 loyal Shia, he would have gone and revolted against the state. But he had almost no true supporters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2hjt3KlQqo&list=PLONBn78iEA6ztB-EADi2658LJ6a-lmT5H&index=3 So Allah would rather have His hojjah be murdered then conceal his beliefs? The reason I didn't respond is because I read and found fault in it. This could easily be turned against your argument. If Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) had allowed Imam al-Mehdi a.t.f.s to rise and revolt, that would have caused significantly more deaths than if he waited for the right time. What about Mo'min Aal-Fir'aun? He concealed his beliefs in order to help Nabi Musa (عليه السلام). وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَانَهُ "Said a man of faith from Pharaoh’s clan, who concealed his faith..." [40:28] فَوَقَاهُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا ۖ وَحَاقَ بِآلِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ "Then Allah saved him from their evil schemes, while a terrible punishment besieged Pharaoh’s clan..." [40:45] Imam al-Sadiq (عليه السلام) says, "Taqiyya is God's shield, just as the the believer of Pharaoh's clan would be killed had he revealed his faith." (Source: Tabrisi, Majma al-bayan, Vol. 8, P. 521) And what does the world do to Iran? Impose sanctions and threaten. That's it. Innocent civilians in Iran suffer because of the sanctions of the West. The donya is still against the Shia. As I just explained, without an imam, the Shia will be going through hard times, no doubt. This is a test. Allah drowns a believer in the sea of suffering when He loves him, as Imam Ali (عليه السلام) said if I'm not mistaken. [The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) says to Imam al-Husayn (عليه السلام)], "You are the master, the son of the master; you are the Imam son of the Imam; you are the Proof son of a Proof; you are the father of nine Proofs from your progeny, the ninth of whom is the Riser (Al-Qa'im)." (Source: Sharh Ihqaq al-Haqq, Vol. 27, Pg. 99) I could quote many more but I can't be bothered proving something which I thought was common sense for a Muslim. Even if it is, it still doesn't matter because from Imam al-Husayn (عليه السلام) until Imam al-Askari, all of the a'immeh had allegiance (under taqiyyeh) to the tyrant of their time.
  8. Even Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) performed taqiyyah. For years, he didn't tell anyone about the religion of Islam except for Sayyeda Khadijeh and Imam Ali (عليه السلام). It was only those three in the whole religion. Even after he went public with his risaleh, the sahaba still hid in the house of Zayd ibn Arqam. Even Imam Zayn-ul-Abideen (عليه السلام) did some form of taqiyya. He didn't come out openly cursing anyone, or saying that nawasib are kuffar.... He focused on things which all the Muslims could benefit from, like al-Sahifat al-Sajjadiyya and Risalat al-Huquq. These two hujjaj of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) performed taqiyya. If the holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) himself can perform taqiyya, it's fine for Imam al-Zaman (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف). There are three reasons usually mentioned as to why Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) decided to put Imam al-Muntazar (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) in ghaybeh. 1. Protection. The Umayyads and Abbasids were very oppressive of all of the a'immeh. Every single one of the a'immeh were killed. Furthermore, there was an extra threat on Imam al-Muntazar (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) because the Abbasids knew that Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) prophesised his reappearance. So Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), in order to protect His hujjah on Earth, took the Imam into ghaybeh. 2. To test the mo'mineen. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) wanted to see which of the Shia of Ali (عليه السلام) would stay on the right path. Without an Imam, obviously, it's hard to find what is haqq and what is falsehood. So in this way, Allah tests the true iman of all Muslims. 3. Allegiance. The sixth Imam of the twelvers, Imam Ja'far ibn Muhammed al-Sadiq (عليه السلام), said: "يقوم القائم وليس لاحد في عنقه بيعة" "Al-Qa'im will rise and he will not have a pledge of allegiance to anyone." (Source: Bihar Al-Anwar, Volume 52, Page 96) Thus, in order to prevent the Imam (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) from needing to pledge allegiance to an oppressive tyrant, he must wait until the right time. If the Imam (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) reappears at the wrong time, perhaps he will be killed like his 13 ancestors. May Allah bless you and your family and grant you Jannat al-Firdaus. May Allah guide us all to Sirat al-Mustaqeem.
  9. I recommend this series about getting married by Sayed Mahdi Modarresi:
  10. 100% agree brother (Salam btw) Just because we're the minority, doesn't mean we're not human beings with rationales and opinions. Just because we're the minority, doesn't mean we need to justify our beliefs by quoting that which we do not believe in. May Allah bless you and your family and grant you Jannat al-Firdaus.
  11. Salam alaikom Imam al-Husayn (عليه السلام) is reported to have said, أولئك الذين يصمتون عندما يتعرض الآخرون للقمع هم مذنبون بارتكاب القمع أنفسهم "Those who are silent while others are oppressed are guilty of oppression themselves." Could anyone please find a source for this hadeeth? Thanks in advance. May Allah bless you and your families and grant you all Jannat al-Firdaus.
  12. Walaikom assalam, You should ask your marja. Sistani website: https://www.sistani.org/english/send-question/Khamenei website: https://www.leader.ir/en/istiftaShirazi email: ask@shirazi.ir May Allah bless you. Ma3salem.
  13. 100% true. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the LGBTQIABCDEFG++++++++++++ community was just doing it for attention. Imagine how nice it would be to get a whole month in which you are the only thing people can talk about! Imagine being allowed to parade down the streets nakedly! (Although tbh this isn't that appealing to me).
  14. I found the hadees. It's mentioned in Ain Al-Hayat by Allamah Al-Majlisi. "Imam Ali Al-Naqi (عليه السلام) narrates that Allah has 73 Ism al-Azam out of which only one was known to Asif Ibn Barqiyeh through which he was able to fetch the Throne of Bilqis in the time taken to wink the eyes. We, the Ahlulbayt, have the knowledge of 72 Ism al-Azam! There is one Ism al-Azam of which, none other than Allah has the knowledge." 15. (@kadhim) ^ I think these people are the whole argument that Islam has against gay and trans people. It's proof that just like any other desire, this desire can be controlled. Maybe it doesn't have to be changed, but it can be controlled.
  16. No, a'udhobillah. I was saying that not all of Allah's (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) knowledge is in the Qur'an. Only a portion of it. And the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and Imam Ali (عليه السلام) have that knowledge. I remember the hadees that said that Rasulullah and Imam Ali have 72 out of 73 portions of Allah's knowledge. But not all of it.
  17. That verse is actually proof that the a'immah do have knowledge of the full Qur'an. The verse should be: وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ But no one knows its interpretation except Allah and those firmly grounded in knowledge; they say, ‘We believe in it; all of it is from our Lord.’ And none takes admonition except those who possess intellect. [3:7] Muhammad Bin Al-Abbas, from Ali Bin Muhammad Al-Ju’fy, from Muhammad Bin Al-Qasim AlKafany, from Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Marwan, from his father, from Aban Bin Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays who said, "Ali Ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) came out to us, and we were in the masjid, so we went to him. He said: "Ask me before you lose me! Ask me about the Quran, for in the Quran is Knowledge of the former ones and the later ones, not leaving a word to be said by a speaker, "But no one knows its interpretation except Allah and those firmly grounded in knowledge" [3:7], and is not with anyone [else]." (Source: Ta'weel Al-Aayaat 2:10/555)
  18. And Amir-Al-Mo'mineen knows everything about the Qur'an. Al Tabarsy, in the book Al Ihtijaj – ‘It has been reported from Muhammad Bin Abu Umeyr, from Abdullah Bin Al Waleed Al Samaan who said, "Abu Abdillah (عليه السلام) said: "What are the people saying regarding Ulil Azm [prophets] and with regards to your Master?" (Meaning Amir-Al-Mo'mineen (عليه السلام)). I said "[They say], he is not ahead of any of the Ulil Azm." So he said: "Surely, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) said about Musa: "And We Wrote for him in the Tablets from everything, being an advice" [7:145], and did not say 'everything'. And said about Isa: "And I shall clarify to you part of what you are differing in" [43:63], and did not say ‘everything which you are differing in'. And said about your Master – (Meaning Amir-Al-Mo'mineen (عليه السلام)): "Say: Suffice with Allah as a Witness between me and you and the one with whom is Knowledge of the Book" [13:43]. And Allah Mighty and Majestic said: "Nor any wet nor dry except it is in an apparent Book" [6:59]. And the Knowledge of this Book is with him [Amir-Al-Mo'mineen]." (Source: Al-Ihtijaj, 375)
  19. I would also recommend Sayed Ammar Nakshawani's series about the Prophet Muhammad Here's the link to the whole playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNrKzQzpLk8AKAa6dxDoGw5OpQCrEC-v3
  20. The thing about sanctions is that it doesn't punish the perpetrators, it punishes the innocent civilians. Sayed Ahmad Al-Qazwini discusses this in his lecture "Islam's take on sanctions", he says that sanctions are only (Islamically) allowed on the actual individual, not on the whole country. Here's the lecture:
  21. I think when it comes to Yasser Al-Habib, all of his beliefs are correct, except his belief that taqiyya shouldn't be practised anymore. We must perform taqiyya. Imam al-Sadiq (عليه السلام) ordered it. وَالْعَلانِيَةِ رَحِمَ الله عَبْداً مِنْكُمْ كَانَ عَلَى وَلايَتِنَا (الكافي) Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kufi from al-‘ Abbas ibn ‘Amir from Jabir al-Makfuf from ‘Abd Allah ibn Abu Ya’fur from Abu ‘Abd Allah (عليه السلام) who has said the following: “Protect your religion and veil it with Taqiyyah; one who does not observe Taqiyyah has no belief (إِيمَانَ). You [Shia] in the people [non-Shia] are like honeybees, in birds. Had birds known what is inside honeybees no honeybee would have been left and it all would have been consumed. Had people known that you love Ahlulbayt they might have destroyed you with their tongues, abusing you in private and in public. May Allah bless those of you who are in our Walayah (Divine Guardianship)." (Source: Kitab Al-Kafi, Book of Iman and Kufr, Taqiyyah, Guarding and Cautiousness, Hadees 5)
  22. Check out this video. "Formoer LGBTQers" testify that they CAN change and stop being gay/trans. They started off as gay/trans but then "found Jesus" and did a full 180.
  23. Subhanallah This isn't far fetched, it's actually pretty straightforward: Imam al-Sadiq (عليه السلام) was asked about the diameter of the sun, and he answered it correctly. We the followers of Ahlulbayt (pbut) have the best master and teachers. May Allah bless you and your family and grant you Jannat al-Firdaus. Ma3salem.
  24. Hmm, I don't think so. It'd be good, but I don't think so.
  25. https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2022/06/11/683702/Iranian-President-Ebrahim-Raeisi-meet-Venezuela-Nicolas-Maduro Two enemies of the US joining forces.
