  1. If it is still rather fresh you can try blotting it with a damp cold cloth. If it has been there for a few days sprinkle the spots with baking soda and then spray with a 50/50 water and white vinegar solution. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and then blot it clean with a damp cold cloth.
  2. Other ideas to reduce plastic use: If you can buy in bulk, bring your own container instead of the plastic bags provided by the seller. Swap out reusable produce bags for the plastic bags at the grocery. When ordering take-out, ask for no plastic ware to be included. Choose shampoo and soap bars instead of using ones sold in plastic bottles. Choose reusable coffee mugs (or other dishes) when dining in a cafe or restaurant instead of disposable ones.
  3. I agree with what @Revert1963 is saying about the message and religion being different. But explain to me how if the religion was created by Mohammed, it wasn't created by man? Yes, he is The Prophet, but still a man.
  4. I speak English and French. I'm trying to learn my husband's language, Ewe, and I'd like to learn Kotokoli.
  5. That sounds like a difficult place to be in. I'd love to share with you how I was able to find hope in a hopeless situation. Send me a message and we can talk more!
  6. My husband is not a native English speaker so he enjoys learning idioms. One of his favorites is "to let the cat out of the bag."
  7. I don't know what subject areas you are working on, but there are plenty of ways to get him interested in learning. You can find all sorts of math games online. Choosing books to read that are about things he cares about can help. To help him focus try using a timer. See how much he can get done in a set amount of time and then take a short break before moving onto something else. You can also use competition or small rewards to motivate him.
  8. Use a pressure cooker and/or add ginger, salt, or citrus juice
  9. God did not cause Hosea to sin by marrying a harlot. She had sinned, but marrying her was not a sin. God asked Hosea to do this to show how the Israelites were acting like an unfaithful wife. But just as Hosea continued to welcome his wife back, God continued to welcome the sinful Israelites back to be his people. And he continues to welcome us back even when we are sinful because of his great love for us as is seen in Hosea 14:4. Then the Lord will answer, “My people always wander away from me. But I will put an end to that. My anger has turned away from them. Now I will love them freely.
