  1. Thanks for the quick reply. so it’s only those giveaways let’s say I need to give pay for a raffle which are haram right?
  2. Assalamu Alaikum So recently my data provider made a giveaway. Due to the current situation, they offered 10gb of data for free and to put the data into good use, they made it so that every gb of data used, it’ll count as one entry for the giveaway. I was just curious to know if the giveaway is halal to participate in and if you win the prize, is there anything wrong with keeping the prize. The prize is a phone. If anyone can answer, it would be greatly appreciated. Wasalam
  3. Sorry, the link wasn’t working for some reason https://www.facebook.com/ahlulbaytthepurifiedhousehold/
  4. Assalamu Alaikum Today, I started a project (Facebook page) that I want to run to spread the message of Islam, the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (عليه السلام), to put myself and hopefully the community back on track. It would be greatly appreciated if this community would help in its running or simply promoting the page. InshAllah, this page will be used for the right intention, to spread the message of peace. The link to the page is below. Any help would be great. https://www.facebook.com/ahlulbaytthepurifiedhousehold/ Walaikum Assalam
  5. ‘The Holy Prophet (s) says that if a person recites four units (Rak’at) of Namaz on the night of 7th Rajab in a manner that in each unit (Rak’at) after Surah al-Hamd recites thrice Surah at-Tawheed, once Surah al-Falaq, and once Surah an-Naas’ Assalamu Alaikum I just wanted to confirm if the way to pray is correct. So you would do two rak’ats in which you recite Surah al-Hamd recites thrice Surah at-Tawheed, once Surah al-Falaq, and once Surah an-Naas, and then after the two rakats I make my task ren and then continue with the next two Rakats. Could someone just confirm this. Jazakuk Allah
  6. Assalamu Alaikum I know that in Eid you’re not allowed to fast. Yeah the answer may seem obvious but are we allowed to fast on eid al ghadeer because some friends in the community were fasting it when the day came. Jazakum Allah
  7. Assalamu Alaikum I just wanted to ask if anyone is able to help me list all the days in a year that fasting is recommended and if possible (don’t have to) add a relevant Hadith to that date. Jazakum Allah
  8. Thank you very much, too all of you. I’ll try to make the best of the advice given. Inshallah I’ll keep all of you in my dua.
  9. Honestly, my dad doesn’t take constructive criticism from anyone. There was a time we’re he got hurt, I tried to help him by telling him what to do and he just ignored it. I don’t even know if I would want to put my mum in that position, because he’s not going to take it seriously and he’ll just angry again. He says he wants it for my own success, but he barely let me do what I wanted to do (as in uni). The same thing even happened to my brother, he started getting angry him saying he won’t get much from it. I’m probably just overreacting at this point. When it comes talking talking to my dad, I can’t even have a proper conversation with him, he always has something to criticise. Half the reason why is because, whenever we have guests or something and I have to help my mum by giving them the tea in a tray, he’d always say something embarrassing and I can’t take it anymore. Another thing was when I tried to explain to him why I’m not studying at a moment was because I was tired, he’ll be like, no you’re just wasting time as usual and I can say anything because he is screaming. Thanks for the advice everyone. Jazakumallah Khairun
  10. Sentenced continue - But it’s like nothing that I do makes him proud
  11. Assalamu alaikum As of now, I just need some helpful advice on what on to do about the matter. So right now, I have some important exams coming up and I feel like I’m putting in as much effort as I possibly can. But it’s like nothing that I do, like I try to study and the second I stop, my dad just goes off saying that in simple terms I’m useless and pretty much a failure. I even see it in his eyes outside of the when he looks at me. I know it’s a blessing that he’s still around so I try to be patient and becomes harder by the day. And with regards to areas other than studying, he destroys the mood and atmosphere of the whole house. I don’t know if I’m overdramatising it, but I just need some words of advice, what am I supposed to do. I’m literally on the breaking point of not wanting to associate with him at all. I don’t really know what to do. Jazakumallah Khairun
  12. For now, I feel like the best ones would be for spirituality and overcoming difficulties. Thank for the responses, eye-opening.
  13. Assalamu Alaikum I don’t mean to be a burden on you guys, you don’t have reply because I am trying to do my own research as well but any help will be highly appreciated. If anyone is able, could they list some invocation or dhikr that can be done daily and if possible some relevant hadeeths to go along with it. It would help me greatly if anyone is able to help in this matter. Jazakum Allah kahirun
  14. Sorry, when you mean together, like a normal isha prayer Thank you
  15. The prayers are mentioned as following twenty-fifth night in eight rek’ats, reciting in each the Fatiha once and the Tawheed ten times, Allah will grant him the rewards of the pious. Whoever says his prayers during the twenty-seventh night in four rek’ats reciting the Fatiha once and Tabarak once, but if he does not memorize Tabarak, then let him recite the Fatiha twenty-five times, he and his parents will be forgiven.
