  1. Thank you very much, too all of you. I’ll try to make the best of the advice given. Inshallah I’ll keep all of you in my dua.
  2. Honestly, my dad doesn’t take constructive criticism from anyone. There was a time we’re he got hurt, I tried to help him by telling him what to do and he just ignored it. I don’t even know if I would want to put my mum in that position, because he’s not going to take it seriously and he’ll just angry again. He says he wants it for my own success, but he barely let me do what I wanted to do (as in uni). The same thing even happened to my brother, he started getting angry him saying he won’t get much from it. I’m probably just overreacting at this point. When it comes talking talking to my dad, I can’t even have a proper conversation with him, he always has something to criticise. Half the reason why is because, whenever we have guests or something and I have to help my mum by giving them the tea in a tray, he’d always say something embarrassing and I can’t take it anymore. Another thing was when I tried to explain to him why I’m not studying at a moment was because I was tired, he’ll be like, no you’re just wasting time as usual and I can say anything because he is screaming. Thanks for the advice everyone. Jazakumallah Khairun
  3. Sentenced continue - But it’s like nothing that I do makes him proud
  4. Assalamu alaikum As of now, I just need some helpful advice on what on to do about the matter. So right now, I have some important exams coming up and I feel like I’m putting in as much effort as I possibly can. But it’s like nothing that I do, like I try to study and the second I stop, my dad just goes off saying that in simple terms I’m useless and pretty much a failure. I even see it in his eyes outside of the when he looks at me. I know it’s a blessing that he’s still around so I try to be patient and becomes harder by the day. And with regards to areas other than studying, he destroys the mood and atmosphere of the whole house. I don’t know if I’m overdramatising it, but I just need some words of advice, what am I supposed to do. I’m literally on the breaking point of not wanting to associate with him at all. I don’t really know what to do. Jazakumallah Khairun
  5. For now, I feel like the best ones would be for spirituality and overcoming difficulties. Thank for the responses, eye-opening.
  6. Assalamu Alaikum I don’t mean to be a burden on you guys, you don’t have reply because I am trying to do my own research as well but any help will be highly appreciated. If anyone is able, could they list some invocation or dhikr that can be done daily and if possible some relevant hadeeths to go along with it. It would help me greatly if anyone is able to help in this matter. Jazakum Allah kahirun
  7. Sorry, when you mean together, like a normal isha prayer Thank you
  8. The prayers are mentioned as following twenty-fifth night in eight rek’ats, reciting in each the Fatiha once and the Tawheed ten times, Allah will grant him the rewards of the pious. Whoever says his prayers during the twenty-seventh night in four rek’ats reciting the Fatiha once and Tabarak once, but if he does not memorize Tabarak, then let him recite the Fatiha twenty-five times, he and his parents will be forgiven.
  9. Sorry for asking too many questions. May Allah bless you. So for the ones that have more than 2 rakahs, for example 4 rakahs. Would I have to pray 2 sets of 2 rakahs so 2,2. And in the case of 8 rakahs would it have be done in a 2,2,2,2 fashion. And in some of the prayers is says to send salutations to the Prophet and his family 100x , or to praise Allah 1000x. Are these supposed to be done in the prayer like in each rakah or is supposed to be done after the prayer. Thank you so much for the help.
  10. Ruling 751. There are many recommended prayers; they are called ‘supererogatory’ (nāfilah). From among the recommended prayers, the daily nāfilah prayers have been recommended more. These number thirty-four rakʿahs (on days other than Friday): eight rakʿahs are the nāfilah of ẓuhr, eight of ʿaṣr, four of maghrib, two of ʿishāʾ, eleven of the night, and two of ṣubḥ. As the two rakʿahs of the nāfilah of ʿishāʾ must be performed in a sitting position, they are counted as one rakʿah, based on obligatory precaution. On Fridays, four rakʿahs are added to the sixteen rakʿahs of ẓuhr and ʿaṣr, and it is better that all twenty rakʿahs be performed before zawāl, except for two rakʿahs – it is better to perform these at the time of zawāl. Assalamu Alaikum I don’t know if the answer is obvious, but for these prayers, do I have to recite them in sets of 2 rakahs so for example for the eight rakahs for nafilah of zuhr and asr prayers. Would I have to pray 4 sets of 2 rakahs so 2,2,2,2 for both to satisfy the eight rakahs. And also would I just recite them normally like any other prayer. Jazakhum Allah khairun
  11. Why did the scarecrow win award? Because he was ‘outstanding’ in his field
  12. So I would to do this in the following manner: 1st rakah: Surat Fatiha and Surat tawhid 25x 2nd rakah: Surat Fatiha and Surat Tawhid 25x and finish. All these prayers are just two rakah prayers right? Thanks for the help btw.
  13. https://www.al-Islam.org/fast-month-ramadhan-philosophy-and-ahkam-yasin-t-al-jibouri/prayer-during-glorious-month-ramadhan Assalamu alaikum In the above link, it mentions some prayers that one should recite in the nights of Ramadan. I need help in the sense that should I follow up with these prayers and do them and if so, how do I pray them. As in what do I recite in which rakah and all that.
