  1. In the first three years of university, had no clue it could be haram. I was ignorant of religion as a whole. It is now knowing that the next instalment is coming my anxiety is through the roof that I may be doing wrong. Uni is very soon I can’t pull out and save up right now, my parents aren’t in a position to pay. My intention now feels different now that I’m more religiously aware.
  2. What would my niyat specifically be? This is really affecting me. Say if I am in a position where I have to pay it back.
  3. I made a thread similar to this a while ago and I’d just like this time your opinions whether aligned with fatwas or your own belief/opinion My next university Loan which I need to live based on the factors of; travelling (Uni is 2 and a half hours away), accomadation, food and other expenses. This Loan will have interest in it. What should I do I do as I start university very soon and from other opinions online if I take it it’ll be a major sin. This is a United Kingdom university. Perhaps their opinions/fatwas are oblivious to the reality in Europe. It’s all very expensive. I don’t know what to do as it’s my final year. I only found out about this stuff recently. All help will be appreciated very much.
  4. What day will it be? Will everyone be doing it?
  5. http://www.duas.org/na_istegh.htm Hello, my first question is the validity of the prayers listed above and would the niyat be nafl? Another question is Can I pray a two rakat namaz anytime that is not forbidden with specific intentions such as forgiveness, thankfulness etc? kind regards
  6. However, if during the prayer he was certain that the time had set in and doubts after completing the prayer whether the prayer he performed was within the time or not, his prayer is valid. From Ayatullah Sistani Does this mean I would not need to make up prayers? From now on I will use a better calendar or should I continue with Azan app?
  7. I have been using the Azan app and sincerely have been praying on the times it gives me. However, out of curiosity I went on google and saw some of the times did not match up with the timing on Azan. I’m stressed because I read that Azan was Shi’a timings and I’m fearful my prayers are now not valid. For example Fajr according to the app was 2:44 but on google it is 3:04. Im fearful I must make up some Namaz but my intention was always that I’m praying at the right time; sincerely and I had no doubt until now knowing of this. Id like some guidance please.

  9. Hi, recently me and my friend have really started praying, making up prayers, dhikrs daily, taking Islam seriously. We have major sins that we repented for and made Tawbah for during our obligatory prayers but InsAllah my questions can be answered: 1. The Tawbah I made sincerely from the bottom of my heart during obligatory prayers on a daily basis will not be the same as if I prayed Tawbah Salat prayer and asked sincerely within that prayer- or will my previous tawbahs be acceptable ? I did not know until recently of specific salat Tawbah does that mean I’d have to re-ask for forgiveness for a sin from the past that I made Tawbah for? A second question is from my friend; specifically it is based on the act of Major Zina. He committed this act in a relationship months ago and has not done so since then vowing not to return to sex before marriage. However, he still [edit] gets physically affectionate without having intercourse every time he meets with her which is months between. He has expressed that he has not delved back into sex itself- will his Tawbah in repenting the specific act be accepted? As he is regretful and has not turned back into the practice. He understands he is doing wrong by even being with her but he is worried that his Tawbah of doing the physical act of major zina is not accepted even though he has not returned to it in months. I feel that his Imaan is growing and he will change fully. Please make dua for us. And make it easy for us. thank you.
  10. In regards to forgiveness, I have come across lots of duas/dhkir which can be used to wash sins away and in particular this one which works for major sin if said sincerely from what I’ve read Astaghfirullahal Azeem al-lazi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih 3 times it can wipe your sins I just wanted to know the legitimacy of this, kind regards. Other dhikr include: one if said with conviction and dies later will be of those in paradise with all sins forgiven forgiveness (Syed-ul- Istighfar) is to say: 'Allahumma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, Abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa Abu'u bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta. (O Allah! You are my Rubb. There is no true God except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).' He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah." I would like someone’s thoughts on the validity and whether I should say these throughout the day, when I’m repenting, or just a dua at any point of day.
  11. If I do not recite Tasbeeh Az Zahraa ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Is it an obligation or is it recommended ? Will my prayers be good? im still learning thanks
  12. Hi, I’m a university student. I live away from home and I’ve been told there will be interest involved in my next installment of money. Without this money I would not be able to pay for my accomadation; or to live by buying food etc at this point I cannot to transfer to a closer university and I’m afraid I will be under riba. Can I please get some guidance thanks
  13. I have been told that she is unwilling to convert; however she would allow if they got married the kids to be Muslim. He is deeply in love with the woman; and is trying to make it work however way possible. Could this increase the likelihood that marriage could take place? I’m hearing it would only be temporary marriage from multiple sources however he wishes to make it work in the long term kind regards
  14. I have a friend involved in a haram relationship for the past 2 years. He all of a sudden has stopped having intercourse with this woman and is seeking repentance and has changed his life altogether praying 5 times a day etc, the girl whom is a Christian has been supportive of this change. My question arises; is it permissible for him to marry this woman as she is a woman of the book as the Holy Qur'an states; or perhaps if she takes a shahada and converts to Islam would it then be permissible? He has told me he is not interested in Mutah marriage as he wants to marry this woman and is abstaining from sexual intercourse with her yet they are still together. He has expressed that he would ask her Christian father for her hand in marriage ASAP. Any advice would be appreciated.
