Salamu alaikum everyone, I hope you are all fine during Ramadan. I have a question, My father cannot fast because he had nicotine dependence, he didn’t fast for many years, I remember when he fasts, he use to get aggressively with us specifically with my mother. What’s the ruling regarding this issue? How can my father fast even tho it’s very hard for him?

No but it’s officially announced by the shia community in the place where I live that the first day of Ramadan is today (Thursday) so yeah today Sunni and Shias are starting together.

Congratulation on your umrah brother, may allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) accepts it and bless you. I was tring to do umrah on my own but reading about your experience, I think it's better if I go with someone who knows about it or a group of people.
