yes u should say but not in salat
and u don’t even say la illaha illah but u say ashadu Allah illaha illallah ..this was the kalma which the people would recite to enter Islam and which is present in tashud
so why don’t leave ashadu ana illaha illalah and just say la illaha illalah in tashud? isnt this in Qur'an? doesnt it have the same meaning as ashadu Allah illaha illalah?

infact i have yet to see how many have given him permission for ijrehad except his sherazi group
one must say aliun waliullah i agree but how do u know the hadiths are authentic ...

Most shia scholars do not make any assumptions about the authenticity of a hadith book. Most believe that there are no "sahih" hadith books that are completely reliable. Hadith books are compiled by fallible people, and thus realistically, they inevitably have a mixture of strong and weak hadiths. Kulayni himself stated in his preface that he only collected hadiths he thought were important and sufficient for Muslims to know, and he left the verification of these hadiths up to later scholars. Kulayni also states, in reference to hadiths:

are u sure that the same people claimed that they have met him,..i have heard that ther friends or associates after thier death has said that he met them
This letter was issued by Imam az-Zaman (a.t.f.s.) six days before the demise of the fourth deputy and can be found with minor variations in the books of traditions. Prior to his death, Janab Ali bin Muhammad Samari (r.a.) was asked about his successor. In reply to this question, he placed the following letter before the people:
‘O Ali Ibn Muhammad Samari! May Allah increase the reward of your brothers concerning you (i.e. your demise)! Death will come to you within the next six days. So you complete your works and do not nominate any person after you. The sequence of special deputies will come to an end and the Major Occultation (غيبت كبرى) will commence with your demise.
Now the reappearance will occur only with the permission of Allah, after a prolonged period and after the hearts of people are hardened. And such a period will emerge on my Shias when people will claim that they have seen me. Whoever makes such a claim before the advent of Sufyani and the heavenly voice, is a liar, an impostor. There is no strength and power save that of Allah, the High, the Great.”

they still from subsects of Shias like as Alwites even Davodi Bohras participate in all Muharram rituals & when they travel to Iraq for Arbaeen walking al Marajas consider them as rest of Shias
we can't label anybody as non Shia when they have love of Ahlul Bayt (عليه السلام) in their heart but they born in this situation even if someone born  in  Nasibi family it's not his fault & may becomes a Shia if he/she seeks for truth but if he/she dies as a Nasibi this is his fault.
one of greatest problems of Shias Muslims is that if someone born in non twelver family & becomes a Twelver by research other born Shias rejects him because of this taught.

this guy jumbling words & give it out of his throat but doesn't has any idea what he says , he & his fans says who is against them is a Batri while they don't know the real meaning  what they say they call Imam Khamenei as Dajjal too even Imam Mahdi (aj) reappears today they will say  you are not Imam Mahdi (aj) because you don't reappear as we want
the definition below is classic definition of them but current Baris believe that Imam must choose by a council & they don't believe to  Taqyia that is same as Shirazi cult belief
Batriyya (Arabic: بترية‎, adjective form Batri) is a Muslim sect from Zaidiyyah,[1] some Shia clerics may use this term to refer to any shiite mixing the allegiance to the Imams and the allegiance to Abu Bakr and Umar.
Among those who used the term were Fadil Al-Darbandi,[2] Muhammad Al-Sanad[3] and Yasser Al-Habib.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batriyya
Imam Baqir (as):Imam Mahdi (aj) will go to Kufa.  there is sixteen thousand people from Batrya who are equipped with weapons against the Imam; they are the Qur'an reciters and religious scholars whose forefathers are covered with a lot of callus because of too much worshiping and their faces become yellow because of  Night prayer and hypocrisy  covers whole of their body. They cry out one voice: O son of Fatima! Return from the way you come, because we do not need you. Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام) will raise his sword against them behind the city of Najaf from noon on Monday to evening and kills everyone of them.

It is said that a Seyyid descendant of Imam Hasan (عليه السلام). known as Seyyide Hasani, will star a revolution immediately join him in great numbers and his slogan will be Amr bil Maaruf wa Nahy anil Munkar. We have already seen how in those days Amr bil Maaruf wa Nahy anil Munkar will be impossible. How many of us see our friends doing wrong done publicly and are not able to redress them? But in those days the situation will be beyond control and yet this Seyyide Hasani will embark on such a mission. Propagating his mission he will move right down to Kerman and up to Multan.

Then the our hope Qa'im will rise  will rise.
In this hadith, the word (Qa'im) has been used several times and it is clear that the meaning of (Qa'im of Khorasan) and (Qa'im of Gilan) is not a promised Mehdi, as it is equal to this narrative, after the uprising, the main vicegerent, Hazrat Mahdi A) emerges.Interestingly, the resurrection in the Gilan region, which is likely to refer to the movements of the Alawits and Shiites in that area, is mentioned as: (Qam Mina Qa'im).

I find even that word too harsh. Dumping is a horrendous word to use in this context. It sounds like someone is throwing garbage in the bin.
These suitors are humans with feelings and aspirations to get married. They should not be spoken about in that manner. We should feel honoured and humbled when anyone shows interest in us. They should be treated with kindness and respect instead of being “dumped”.
I too have said no to some girls and I find it to be the most difficult thing to do, even if I only spoke to them once. I can’t even use the word “reject” because that sounds arrogant.

guest021619 reacted to 2Timeless in Mid-twenties, female and single - what am I doing wrong?
I find it extremely immature and disrespectful that some people find it funny to brag about how many guys they've "dumped". All the female members have rejected certain suitors, it's not something to brag about. Why would you find it funny that you rejected a man? Afterall, marriage completes half your deen, and every suitor rejected should upset you, because you're still not finding the right partner who will help you stay on the right path. It just makes no sense to brag about "dumping" suitors. It's incredibly immature and rude. Also, the word "dump" lacks emotion and suggests a relationship, most times women "reject" suitors because they don't seem very compatible. I suggest we use the latter, as it seems more befitting.

Brother since you have just converted from Sunni to Shia I would not and would not advice others to take you or show you that level which would become hard for you to digest honestly and till today there are some levels when I hear it becomes very hard to digest because of being on a lower level.
When I say 'Level' I mean to say the merits and virtues of Prophet Mohammed(saww) o Aal(asws) e Mohammed(saww).
So I would advice you to start your lessons from the life and behaviour of Aal(asws) e Mohammed(saww) first by keeping it very simple and basic and then these things can be discussed later.
14 Infallibles(asws) is a book to start with. Very basic. Very interesting.

@Salsabeel @skyweb1987 These two men can help you seek in Qur'an where the virtues of Prophet Mohammed(saww) o Aal(asws) e Mohammed(saww) are mentioned with logic and proofs. They are a GEM on this website as far as I know.
@Ruqaya101 @3wliya_maryam Beware of these two girls lol they are nice sisters, j/k. They are very kind.
@Ralvi @AStruggler These two are very 'down to Earth' and 'open to speak' people without any hesitation. They are learners just like me.
@Shia farm girl This sister is very helpful and gives her full energy while quoting narrations purely for helping others.
@Darth Vader This man is neutral and very decent to talk to.
@Lion of Shia This brother is super cool and very kind too.
@Hameedeh This sister is very helpful from website's management perspective, she is an administrator here.

Actually we cannot quantify how much knowledge Prophet (S) & Imams (asws) have.
Allah (s.w.t) has said "allamal insaana ma lam ya'lam" (taught man what he knows not). This does not mean they become Aalim ul ghayb. Aalim ul Ghayb is one of the ism of Allah (s.w.t) therefore no one else can hold that position.
    Surah Al-Hashr, Verse 22:
    هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ
He is Allah besides Whom there is no god; the Knower of the unseen and the seen; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful (English - Shakir)
However, one can become the "mazhar" of that ism e ilahi.

In short, our belief is that only Allah (s.w.t) is A'alim ul Ghayb.
Whether He shares that ghayb with some one or not, it must be cleared from the verses of chapter 72 "illa man irtiza min rasoolin".

    Salam,
It's really hard to explain this, but do you guys just remember that one time when you had soo much iman and taqwa! When you felt soo spiritual, and connected to Allah.
The problem is that I feel a lot of it has been lost. I have defs gained more knowledge but it feels all mechanical. It's like I'm doing everything without being able to contemplate. I don't want all my good deeds to be turned into dust.
I wanna taste the sweetness of iman again, because I know what it felt like. I'm not sure if I'm just being confused or over critical. Something doesn't feel right.
Do you guys go though this?

I see something important here in these blessed verses

    إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ مِنْ رَسُولٍ

This "Min" could have something important hidden in it. Perhaps a clue towards the "bearers of minniyat of Prophet (S)". Perhaps Imam Ali (asws), the chosen one from Rasool and he is from him . Lets now look at the next verse:

    لِيَعْلَمَ أَنْ قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ

This verse reminds me the last verse of chapter 13 which mentions two witness of the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (S), one being Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and other is Imam Ali (asws)

Mainstream Shia only believes what Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) says and what Prophet (S) and his Ahlul Bayt (asws) says.

Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is "A'alim ul Ghayb" and is the source of all the knowledge which Prophet (S) and Imams (asws) have. And as the 26th & 27th verses of Chapter 72 says:

    عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا

Not sure if im posting this in the right place but tonight has been Crazy.
my mom has been complaining about back pain and stuff for months but we never really think much of it. Shes been to the doctor and everythings fine other than the pinched nerve in her neck shes had for years. So we havent been to worried too much and neither has she. But tonight she was horsing around with my younger brother and she ended up falling off of his bed and hurting her back. She started freaking out, she didnt know what happened, we managed to get her standing and we were trying to calm her down then she fainted and hit her head. She woke up again and sat up, only to freak out and faint again moments later. She woke up after a couple seconds and started talking about maybe the devil is getting her for her past. Shes freaking her self out thinking she could have been possessed, i keep trying to tell her it couldve been because she was freaking out or because of her medication. We almost called 911 but she refused to go. Shes not fainting now, just complaining of her back, neck and head hurting really bad. She agrees that she probably fainted from a anxiety attack because she didnt know what happened so she was scared. I'm not sure what i should do, so the best thing i Can think of is to pray, which i have done multiple times, and to ask you all to please pray for my mother and inshallah she will get better.
Thank you all, may peace and blessings be upon you.
