I see suspected Covid-19 patients every day. I might be infected by now but I don't have any symptoms. Many doctors in my unit believe they might be infected by now. We cannot have our own tests done if we are symptom free. 

475 Italian people died today from corona, that’s so scary. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) protect us.

1] Our state health director said today that what we now see in Lombardy and France will be everywhere.
2] l had (and since using this sometimes have) trouble breathing. My first reaction felt like my lung tissue slapping the underside of my clavicals. When l take the expectorant guaifenesin in a half hour l can breath somewhat normally. l still get short of breath sometimes.
3] Dr.. Beck (sp?) said at the daily White House briefing that some Millennials are having severe problems.
4] My state health director said on TV a half hour ago that if current lockdown-type proceedures continue, the "peak" of infections will be in late May . . . and thereby reduce the risk of the health care system's collapse. She also said that the 3rd World will be devestated.

This is way too much responsibility for us mere mortal souls to carry.  Basically, the ones who will go to Hell, in my opinion are those who take on such tasks “to do”.  Unfortunately, majority of “religious people” think too much of themselves and so they willingly take up such massive responsibilities.  They fail to realize that they are nothing and that only God is All-Powerful.  Their intentions and orientations in executing religious tasks are based on wrong and false notions about who they are.  And so they inevitably fail and become miserable.     
 
There is absolutely nothing required for us to do.  We just have to submit our self-will to His Will.  Let go, and let God.  This is where our salvation is.

Hi! My thoughts are,...once a patient needs a ventilator in order to survive, he or she doesn't really need a ventilator, because they are dying. The ventilator only serves to prolong the dying process. For someone like me--who has no fear of the first death--I don't want a ventilator when I'm dying. I've thought about having DNR (Do Not Resussitate) tattooed on my chest! (just kidding! )

I see sepsis patients almost everyday. With Corona virus, the even greater concern is when patients go into ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) and multi-organ failure.

As a registered nurse, I have been taught that sepsis is a deadly poisonous infection in the blood as a result of a bacterial infection, like pneumonia, that may follow a viral infection like corona virus. The elderly and people with chronic underlying health conditions are much more prone to develop pneumonia and sepsis than young strong healthy people who get sick from a virus like covid-19 or the flu.

I don't think so. Being sick means we need a doctor. Jesus said He didn't come for those who are well, but for those who are sick. Job said, "Shall we receive good from God and not receive evil?" Apparently, when Jesus went through His sufferings for me, the people accused Him of being "smitten by God" as punishment. But He wasn't ashamed to suffer for me.

All decision makers across globe are stupid and we SCers are the smart ones?! Doesn't make that much sense.
It's a dilemma. What if Corona kills 1m worldwide, but collapse of economies, panic and shortage of supplies kill 2m?
Besides, there is no guarantee these measures would stop Corona, but they definitely kill the economy. At the end of the day, all you get is a dead economy only, because the threat of Corona is still there even with these measures.

From what the medical experts in USA are telling the public, soap is as effective as hand sanitizer in washing our hands. But if you want to make a sanitizing compound you can mix aloe vera gel with rubbing alcohol. (That would help prevent your skin from drying out so much and cracking, too--my note.) Also, any disinfectant spray will clean surfaces. It doesn't have to be anti-microbial. We've known for years that anti-microbials can be harmful to children...who are the least susceptible to Covid-19, anyway.
It's good to know God is in control of this whole mess. And His perfect love casts out fear.

This stockpiling is laughable.
Wednesday l went to the store. Thursday, my little sister askes me to go to the store for her because she is stressed for time, and while l am there, get her a hand sanitizer and wipes for her kids in pre-school. So l go to the same store and every box of handsanitizer had been cleaned out. The manager and l both looked. What filled the shelves the day before was all gone. l know that because l saw it while aware of this organized "panic buying". He went to look at the toliet paper and we found this was almost the case there. So l went ot other stores and the same thing, so l bought soft soap and alcohol (from two different stores) so she could mix-and-make her own sanatizer for the kids.
Later, The local news showed a 79cents bottle of handsanitizer online for $50-  Yep, $50.
This kind of garbage is no different that stealing hub caps.
People in general and iIIegals cram their residences with stuff until an organizer comes and buys it up, who then take it to storage units and other warehousing, and then sells it online.
So make your own stuff. 
You all know how soap "melts" in a soap dish if allowed to stand in water. 
Save your pump handled and spray bottles for your homemade stuff.

There would be no physician in-house, and they would each be supervised by one nurse. I asked the doctor hosting the conference, "What if these people died?" The incompetence is not exclusive to Iran as it can be noticed across the board from China to the US. It's unfair to single out Iran in this case.
Whilst Iran and others have most likely censored the real statistics of infections and deaths, some countries in the region haven't even admitted they have the virus. 
Both China and Iran were late in admitting the problem but what's done is done. 
I think at times like these where all of humanity is on the same boat facing the same threat, we ought to focus on working together rather than pointing fingers.
