As a Christian, I believe Satan is the accuser of the brethren. He assigns guilt to us, because he will never be free from his own. He is jealous of the sons and daughters of God who have been ransomed, through Jesus' death, from slavery to sin, by the shedding of His blood on the cross. Now He stands by the Father's side making intercession for the saints, declaring the innocence of those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. The curse of sin is death. But Jesus conquered death by His own death and broke the power of sin in our lives.
"O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Corinthians 15:55-57
