I was reading through Bihar ul-Anwar until I saw this hadith: Source 1 Source 2 <-- Part 27 Roughly translated: The Prophet ﷺ said: I entered Paradise and I saw on its door inscribed in gold: There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the beloved of Allah, Ali is the Waliy of Allah, Fatima is the mother of God (?), Hasan and Hussain are the chosen (/the elites of?) by Allah, Allah’s curse on their haters. How do I know that this hadith is Sahih or not? Did I understand it incorrectly? Please let me know.

I agree with El Cid. I think Shias are more strong on the follow-up part. Also what differentiates us with the Salafis/Wahabis is that we allow every question. Every question can be asked and every critique is okay, it shows you have a great intellect and you want to get closer to Allah by trying to understand his religion. Salafi/Wahabis don't allow you to ask anything. They will just throw the "it's just like that" or just say it's in Sahih Bukhari (without references). Also we don't hide anything. All our books are open to the public. But good luck try finding Shia books in strict Sunni/sal

Did God Have a Choice to Not Create?
ahlulbaytkr replied to SoRoUsH's topic in General Islamic Discussion
Allah doesn't need anything. He can't worship himself as that would not be logical. I he wants to be worship, he had to create so that he may be worshipped. -

I have listened to a lot of lectures of Kanat Eleyoun. They have 2 speakers, Mirvat Amad and Mohamad Moussa. Mirvat Amad is in charge with more general lectures or lectures based on texts (Quran+Hadith) while Mohamad Moussa does lectures about esoteric and mystical topics. In general, he has really intriguing topics but a lot of times the things he says in his lectures are really really far-fetched. Sometimes I just click away because what he says sounds so made-up and fake and think "what is he even saying?". Sometimes I even search up the terms he uses for more information (in English and A

I kind of disagree. People don't like to mention topics like sex and puberty because it is seen as a taboo by their culture. But islam came to give knowledge in every field. In Muslim majority countries we have a lot of problems that people shun away from because it's taboo. So I think it's highly praisable to mention these problems and clear up all ignorant behavior people have on these topics.

I once heard in a lecture that the person who doubts a lot, should just go with his doubts and move on and Allah is the most merciful. And I can assure you, the water has reached your desired location 100%. No need to worry, inshallah everything will be okay. Try to do istighfar and try to say "a'udhu billahi min al-shaytaan al rajeem" to ward off shayateen and their waswasa. Trust Allah.

Sunni revert seeking to become Shia
ahlulbaytkr replied to Mohammad313Ali's topic in Shia/Sunni Dialogue
Didn’t encounter that though -
Assalamu Aleykom brothers and sisters, I was searching for a list of recommended practices of Ramadan. I'm still young so I didn't know what kind of mustahab acts I could do, this is my first serious Ramadan. I did not find such a list though. But I did find an article on wikishia but, for me at least, it was hectic. I prefer a file with all the text and practices within it... so I made one! I took me a lot of time to make it but... alhamdulillah. Almost all was taken from wikishia so you can go there if you prefer that: http://en.wikishia.net/view/Practices_of_Ramad
