    Thank you for this interesting and fascinating question! The absolute defining moment of conversion is the top of anything, Christ forgave my sins! He loves me! He wants to dwell within me by His Holy Spirit and be with me throughout my life and then receive me into His glorious Kingdom at the time of physical death! What an awesome God! What incredible love! Now it is daily seeking Him. Asking Him to be in control and following His steps. Learning more of who He is. His grace. His mercy. An awesome and incredible God.

      We know that he is God of Love but in recent years who claims it shows opposite of it in action look Monks of Myanmar & Buddhist of India also Wahabi muslims that say Islam is religion of peace behead people cruelly but from shia view , Islam is peaceful religion it means who  comes we treat him by peace but against enemies we are hard also God show Mercy & hardship together but binding him in just Love is not accepted.

    The "role of the Father " is God. God does love, mercy, justice and perfection. Why would you think God is retired. Do you not believe in God? Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit are one. Christ in human form came to earth to show the world the great mercy and forgiveness of the cross. He died and rose again for your forgiveness.

    Ashvazdanghe, There was a post earlier about just disregarding certain people that are not of the same faith or oppose something politically that was differing from them.
