So you're better then Talhah?
-
So the Prophet (s.a.w.s) gave his entire life for Ali (a.s)? Wasn't it calling to Allah? I don't know what you think about what I think about Ali (a.s). Sure he was above everyone else, he just wasn't the only one important.
-
Jesus Christ (a.s). Can't you be more neutral? Why all this hate for everyone? Can't you see good in him? You forget that the Khawarij where from the party of Ali (a.s) when he agreed in arbitration with Muawiyah, the khawarij thought that Ali (a.s) was forsaking his 'divine right to rule' by agreeing in arbitration, by their reasoning Ali (a.s) became a kuffar for agreeing with the arbitration because he forsake his right. They hated all those who opposed Ali (a.s) as much as you and Ali (a.s) could have crushed Muawiyah if he pushed forward to battle.

I doubt Talhah killed thousand of people

So Ali (a.s) is above Muhammad (s.a.w.s)?
-
That's up to Allah
-
I'll quote Abu Bakr - "I am sure it was a error of judgement"
-
Slave means servant. Fatima (a.s) wanted some servants to help in the chores since she and Ali did all the chores by themselves in the house.
-
You did not understood Iblis sin. Then maybe all muslims will go to hell for doing one single sin once in life.
-
A evil man that take blows to protect the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s). He did one mistake which he clearly regretted. Everyone here focusing on one mistake and ignoring all his merits. How evil is men who do not look a single good in people. I made this threat to show the good side of him. Now if you wanna focus on the bad go ahead.
-
The funny thing is that most people here think they are better then Talhah. He took several blows at the battle of Uhud to protect the Prophet (s.a.w.s) most people here do not have and will never have such honor.
-
Thank you. Someone more rational

Shaytan never repented. You cannot compare Iblis sin with Talha. Iblis rejected all humanity.
-
He clearly repented by the looks of it and acknowledged that his death was a punishment. Not our place to judge his intentions. Aside the battle of Jamal he clearly have a long list of merits and virtues. One bad action does not overwrite all his good ones.

Talhah distinguished himself at the Battle of Uhud by keeping close to Muhammad while most of the Muslim army fled. He protected Muhammad's face from an arrow by taking the shot in his own hand, as a result of which two of his fingers were paralysed. He was also hit twice in the head, and it was said that he suffered a total of 75 wounds in the battle. The Battle of the Camel was fought between Ali on one side and Aisha, Talhah and Zubayr on the other on 10 December 656. During the battle, Marwan ibn al-Hakam, who was fighting on the same side, accidentally shot Talhah in the thigh. Marwa

Is there any repentance from suicide?

Why are you so sad.. -
You need to take the ring of before entering in the bathroom for hygienic reasons and to do woodu and ghusl so that the water can reach easily the parts of the finger. The rest is fine Insha Allah.

"The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore his ring on his right hand" [Shamail e Muhammadiya]. "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wore a silver ring in his right hand, it had an African stone and he (peace and blessings be upon him) kept the stone towards his palm." [Mishkaat Al-Masaabeeh] "Anas (Allah is pleased with him) said the Prophet's ring was in this and he gestured towards his small finger on his left hand." [Saheeh Muslim] "Ibn Umar (Allah is pleased with him) said the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore his ring in his le

Actually I will add something here - Gold ring it's prohibited to men. The recommended is to use silver.

If Allah cares or not I don't know. This is just Sunnah of the Prophet (s.a.w.s) and how he did things. Muslims follow his sunna as a ways to get closer to Allah. Now if you are worried that people will be sent to hell for using a ring in the wrong finger or hand don't worry because we don't believe that, there are far more important things that get neglected that can send someone to hell like murdering a innocent, suicide, mistreating animals, mistreating the planet, mistreating your fathers, etc
-
This is correct. I'll just like to add that the left hand and thumb, index and middle finger is makkrooh because it is also used to do dirty things. You also need to take off the ring during woodu and ghusl. The rest is fine insha Allah.

[Closed/Review]books other than the Qur'an
SunniBrother replied to iavswn's topic in General Islamic Discussion
Islam is Qur'an and Mutawattir Sunna (From all sects). Everything else is unimportant details. I am trying to derive my aqeedah from the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s) when he was alive, not after his post-mortem when all this divisions came. Scholars may try to get to truth and I am grateful to all of them (from all sects). I think it's high time we leave this sectarianism... -

(21:92) Indeed this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord: so worship Me alone. (3:103) Hold fast together to the cable of Allah (Qur'an) and be not divided. Remember the blessing that Allah bestowed upon you: you were once enemies then He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brothers. You stood on the brink of a pit of fire and He delivered you from it. Thus Allah makes His signs clear to you that you may be guided to the right way. (23:52) And you all belong to one and the same community, and I am your Lord: so fear Me. -

It's called Talmudic Islam. Same way Jews took their rabbis as gods besides God and favored the words of the Rabbis (Talmud) and ignored the Torah. Muslim stuck on same page now
