  1. Okay. Thanks for clarity brother. Yes some Sunnis twists verses saying it refers to the wives, I am aware of that. But I don't think the Shias are unaffected of being bias towards Ali (r.a) as well. For example, Sunnis believe ayah Al Imram verse 103 refers to holding into the Qur'an and not being divided, shias think Rope of Allah refers to Ali (a.s) so I really think both parties may be bias.
  2. al baqar 207 – And there is from the people someone who sells his soul craving those things that are pleasing unto Allah, and Allah is kind unto His servants. [Tafsir al-`Ayyashi] From Jabir from Abu Ja`far عليه السلام. He said: As to His saying “And there is from the people someone who sells his soul craving those things that are pleasing unto Allah, and Allah is kind unto His servants” it was sent down regarding `Ali b. Abi Talib عليه السلام when he sacrificed himself for Allah and for His Messenger on the night he recline on the bed of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله when the unbelievers of Quraysh sought him. ______ Any tafseer of the shia will have Ali (a.s) in it. Even if Allah is talking about bananas in the Qur'an they will twist and say "Bananas means Ali!"
  3. I'll give you tafseer with pleasure sidi! Look at this classical shia tafseer of 110 surah al khaf and how they twists everything to "believe in the imams and Ali (a.s) 110 - Say: 'I am only a mortal the like of you; it is revealed to me that your God is One God. So whoever hopes for the encounter with his Lord, let him do a righteous act, and associate none with the worship of his Lord. عن سماعة بن مهران قال: سألت أبا عبد الله عليه السلام عن قول الله: (فليعمل عملا صالحا ولا يشرك بعبادة ربه أحدا) قال: العمل الصالح المعرفة بالأئمة، (ولا يشرك بعبادة ربه أحدا) التسليم لعلى لا يشرك معه في الخلافة من ليس ذلك له ولا هو من أهله . [al-`Ayyashi] From Sama`a b. Mihran. He said: I asked Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام about the saying of Allah “let him do a righteous act, and associate none with the worship of his Lord” (18:110) He said: The righteous act is recognition of the Imams “and associate none with the worship of his Lord” surrender to `Ali, not associating with him in the khilafa whoever is that is not for, and whoever is not worthy of it.
  4. lol. Yes sometimes I fail to back up my claims, but if you research you'll see where I am coming from. Brother I am not Wikipedia having all references and links and sources to drop whenever people ask. A lot of Muslim scholars make claim as well, when you go to Khutba they usually talk without referring to texts, how do you know all scholars are truthful? When you ask a fatwa they give a fatwa give a reference here and there, I bet you can't even tell if that's true or not because you don't have their books to check if they are making up or telling you something stupid. If you want to build your religion upon a bunch of texts based approach perhaps you could go full Salafi, this is where you need to get out of the Taqlid I Aqeedah and Hadith based thinking.
  5. They don't take ideas I think. I think they just teach how Twelvers read their hadiths, Usuli of course.
  6. I am gonna quote Imam Ali (a.s) - Qadr is a ocean of Allah. Do not delve in it. Qadr is a mystery of Allah, you will not have the Knowledge He have. Do not delve In it.
  7. A lot of things are wrong in the aqeedah of Muslims in this day and age.
  8. This is Ashari believe... I gave her the Maturudi approach so she sees which one make more sense. And no is not Shirk. It's Shirk to negate Qadr altogether, but Qadr is affirmation and negation. Saying people have choice is not shirk.
  9. No. Allah is All Knowing, so He knows what we are going to choose, but we have a choice is just that He already have Knowledge of what we are going to do. Ultimately we choose between the paths He gave in our lifes. This type of believe you are speaking is a fatalist approach that Pagan Meccans used - Allah willed us to worship idols, had He wanted us to not worship idols we wouldn't, but since He willed is to worship idols there is nothing bad about it since we don't have a choice.
  10. This proves nothing, this is basic Sunni believe and that's basic Sunni believe and there is divergence on the issue, even Salafis and Wahhabis believe this!
  11. I am not wrong. They think that criticizing blasphemy law earn you death penalty. When this was the position of Abu Hanifa, Maturudi and Tahawi that there is no death for dhimmis. They pick the hardest opinions of the 4 schools and call that Hanifa.
  12. They not really Hanifas in Indo-Pak. They a mix of Shafi'i and Hanbali.
  13. I dont see this contradicting free will. You do not know what Allah have written for you. So why bothering?
  14. My mistake. Is not on Musnad. It's on Ibid
  15. What Hanafis? Fake Hanifas of mixed Shafi'i and Hanbali opinion or authentic Hanafis?
  16. It's a Mutawwatir hadith on all sects. You sure is not authentic? The shia have, the Ibadis have and the Sunnis have.
  17. Yes you need to be in state of purity and covering the awra.
  18. This is true to all madhabs my friend. It is based on a prophetic tradition who says - "Soon after I pass away the narrations concerning to me will multiply like the previous prophets before me, so whatever agree with the Qur'an take it, what don agree throw away. But I don't know what happened today most Muslims do not practice this methodology. Those who do are upon the Haqq no doubt, be it Sunni or Shia. Imam Shafi'i based a view that if the verses of the Qur'an can abrogate themselves then surely the Qur'an can abrogate hadiths if it contradicts. Sadly Sunnis closed the door of Ijtihad for years and we are only catching up now. Also with the rise of Salafism it have been a great toil on the minds if the Muslims, we also have extremists Sufi rising as response. Both are wrong.
  19. 1-I know Sunni scholars who teach Twelver methodologies
  20. Yes. Ali is superior to all Sahabas. Imam Shafi'i made poems of praise of him. Early Ahl al Sunnah was very fond of him
  21. Abdullah bin Ahmad ibn Hanbal said - I asked my father what credence he had concerning the preferential merits of the companions? He replied: In the matter of caliphate, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman are superior to all others. I asked him what about ‘Ali ? He answered: O my son! ‘Ali bin Abi Talib is from a family concerning whom (whose merits) no one can deliberate
  22. “Made lawful to you this day are At‑Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods, which Allaah has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits)]. The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them” [al-Maa’idah 5:5]
  23. That view is ignoring the Ranks he gave them. The companions are merely to derive Sunnah. So the highest the rank the more reliable is the person. So Ali (a.s) is the most reliable. Early Sunnis where more worried in preserving the Sunna and Theology and developing Islam. Sadly it did not go so smoothly along the line because of the various sectarians war and corrupt caliphates.
