I just wanna post my defense when it comes to posting both the internet links and quoting the whole thing in the quote box.
For those of you who don’t know of my position, I usually post a bit on the long side by providing not just the internet links, but also quoting the entirety of the internet link in the Quote Box. Why do I do this? Because what would happen if the internet links don’t work if such links I provide are mysteriously inaccessible or simply gone? We might lose possibly invaluable information. That’s what the intent was on my part for quoting the entirety of the internet link in the Quote Box along with the internet link as a contingency plan.

I just wanna chill and talk about one of the things that I’m not a fan of.
Sweet and Savory Foods e.g. Pineapple Pizza.
I’m not a fan of that. I would prefer my food to be either Savory or Sweet. But not both. Basically if I’m going to live up to the philosophy of ‘I eat to live’ I would prefer my Food to be kept simple and easy to cook. Or how other people would live up to the K.I.S.S Principle when living their Life, “Keep It Simple Stupid”
Pineapple on Pizza is apparently considered a criminal offense given the reaction to the people from Naples, Italy where Pizza originated from. I wouldn’t be surprised if the people over there would enact a death penalty law against people who would make pineapple pizza over there.
I can kinda sympathize with where they’re coming from. It’s like putting Orange or Chocolate on Indo-Pak Foods like Chicken Biryani which is a savory cuisine. Or a Banana Zinger Burger. I’ll at the very least try it out just out of pure morbid curiosity. But, if I don’t like it then whatever to each their own.

I have a profile photo. I am Jogurt The Yogurt from a Strategy RPG known as Shining Force: Legacy of The Great Intention released on the Sega MegaDrive/Genesis at 1992.
Basically my profile looks like a Hamster with a Helmet that vaguely resembles to the Storm Troopers from the movie franchise Star Wars. :P

@ZethaPonderer You can post in the thread so everyone knows about your profile photo.
They probably won't see your profile comment here.

I usually don't follow people in real life neither online since I originally lived up to my old personal motto,
"Embrace Loneliness. Cause I believe till death I'll find a friend"
Now I'm changing my old motto into this to learn the art of Tolerance with some sense of Compromise,
Long Version: I must respect your right to believe in that which I may or may not have respect for as long as You respect my right to believe in that which you may or may not have respect.
Short Version: Your belief is your belief, my belief is mine. (Inspired by Surah Al Kafirun, Chapter 109 from the Quran)

Apparently The Western World can spread their Anti-Islamic Statements all across the world and online of how Islam is NOT a Religion of Peace. But, a glaring issue lies from all this.
What do they know of Peace? How is Peace truly defined? Can the term 'Peace' be objectively defined?
Messed up world we live in now where people cater to the meanings of their respective terminologies and languages to the extreme.
In other words, Pacifism has become what people consider 'Peace' while Violence has become what people consider 'War'.
If Peace had a 'True' and 'Objective' definition it would be considered violent and dangerous at this day and age.
Thus, True and Objective Peace = Violence = War.

I was using my Iphone 6s to reply on my last post so thank you @Hameedeh for correcting the font size oversight. There was no option to increase the size.
-
@ZethaPonderer No problem! Not all Mods will bother to change the font size. Since I have eyesight difficulty (notice my eyeglasses on my display pic), if I have time then I like to increase the small font size to help others.

People who use this argument to justify their bigotry towards Islam or any religion for that matter due to it having present relevance,
"You don't see any other religion such as Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity, Judaism etc etc who are committing acts of terrorism on the news/media. Islam = Terrorism due to current events. Do you see them other religions endorsing acts of terrorism like Islam? Therefore, Islam is the worst religion out of all religions".
Let me see if I can word this differently but still delivering the same message,
"Sure most other religions have their rules on treating disbelievers unequally, but what about Islam with its violent verses in the Quran about disbelievers? At least Christians have reformed nowadays and are no longer doing acts of Crusades due to this reformation, but what about Islam and its followers? At least Judaism is no longer a threat and are not following their scriptures to enslave Goyims/Gentiles, but what about Islam and its followers who are still following their un-reformed scripture? At least you don't see other religions killing disbelievers because of their disbelief, but what about Islam with its millions of followers who all share the same agenda to see Western Nations crumble by their acts of spreading terrorism into the hearts of innocents just like Muhammad and his Followers did on their 80 battles 14 centuries ago? Therefore, Islam is the worst religion out of all religions".
Comparing the two lines of reasoning you can see they are both logically similar but in a different light. It's called 'Whataboutism' and to quote John Oliver from Last Week Tonight,
"This technique on saying What About is actually an Old Soviet Propaganda Tool. And the reason its dangerous is that all actions regardless of context share a moral equivalency. And since nobody's perfect, all criticism is hypocritical and everybody should do whatever they want. It is a depressingly effective tool."
The problem with Whataboutism is that it doesn't solve a problem, help the debate keep going or even win the argument. The point of Whataboutism is to make an issue/situation unnecessarily complicated and less clear which can make the other side frustrated. So, Whataboutism is essentially debating in order to troll your opponents. You're not debating to put forth opposing arguments and finding some truth within it. You're doing it to troll people.
No wonder Donald Trump is using this tactic, he's trolling the media along with Humanity on a global scale.
Bottom line, some Westerners should stop using their Whataboutisms against Islam and actually do some research based on whether the religion really is "The Way of Life" that all Human Beings should adhere to.

I have little to zero energy to do anything with my life. I might go bonkers/insane living where I am (it wasn’t my choice to live where I am) so I need a physical activity to engage in. An activity I’ve always had interest in as a kid,

Can my post be approved? If not then you have my permission to remove the post as long as you PM me about the problem with my post. Plus, let me know upfront so that I don't post anything to offend people since that is not my intention and NOT why I signed in Shiachat.

@ZethaPonderer Salam, Brother. It should not be assumed that your post has a problem. It is more likely that a Moderator did not see your post yet. I will read it and approve it for you now.

I've been going through some tough times. My imaan (faith) is surely tested in the country I reside where apostasy, hypocrisy, and ignorance are the norm. I'm going through a phase. Just hoping this phase will lead to betterment for myself, my family, and most importantly for pleasing Allah/Ellah.
We don't live in an Age of Ignorance anymore. This is the Age of Misinformation.

I would like to make the post about the Definition of Peace except currently speaking, my grandmother died so it'll take a while on my end to hopefully make the topic in question.
May the God of Abraham Allah/YHWH shed mercy over my grandmother's departed soul.

I come in peace and will soon make a post about various philosophical perspectives people have when it comes to describing the definition of 'Peace'. What is Peace? What does it really mean from every possible angle till there is only one meaning that can be TRUE for defining Peace?
