  1. Each religion has contracted its particular "spiritual disease" which prevents them from recognizing the Next Messenger; and this is mainly the fault of the religious leaders themselves. After reading Sura of Hud, where a succession of Prophets is described, and the punishments that came upon them for their apostasy, and knowing that God does not change His method, because of this verse: “(Such has been) the practice (approved) of Allah already in the past: no change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah. (Qur’an 48:23 YusufAli) --my question is: Why have men concluded that God has changed His method and decided to stop sending divine Messengers? I decided that the reason they do this is because they came to believe that Muhammad is the last Prophet ever to be sent to earth by Allah, because of the Verse about the Seal of the Prophets; but I see no reason to believe their conclusion, since “no change wilt thou find in the practice of Allah”.
  2. Hello Friends and new acquaintances! I am retired, and living in Ecuador with my wife. I am 64 and she is 66! But we are active in helping the Baha'i community here. I would like to use my 47 years experience to untangle any misconceptions. It is my hope that i may learn from others and that they may also learn of my devotion to Amr-i- Bahá.
  3. Thank you, Hamzah J., for offering to share your knowledge of Arabic. His Holiness Bah'u'llah has said: "Indeed, there existeth no language in the world as vast and comprehensive as Arabic". ~Baha’u’llah, Tabernacle of Unity, #2.58, p.53) “In point of fact , no less than sixty percent of Baha’u’llah’s Tablets and other Writings were revealed in the ‘perspicuous Arabic tongue,’ as He describes it, in contradistinction to the ‘luminous Persian tongue’ in which the remainder of His Writings was revealed.…It is beloved of God that all should speak in Arabic, which is the richest and vastest of all languages. Were anyone to be aware of the richness and vastness of this perspicuous tongue, he would choose it as a universal language of communication. The Persian tongue is a beautiful language, and in this Dispensation God hath chosen to speak in two languages: Arabic and Persian. However, Persian is not as rich as Arabic; in fact all the languages of the earth seem limited when compared to the Arabic language. What We have mentioned here is merely what is preferable. However, Our purpose is that the peoples of the earth should choose a universal language from amongst the languages spoken by all mankind. This is what God hath ordained, and this is what will benefit all mankind, did they but know." (Bahá’u’lláh, quoted in Soheil Bushrui,"The Style of the Kitab-i-Aqdas: Aspects of the Sublime," pp.32-33) "Among all the languages of the world, Arabic is unique in being a sacred language…”(ibid p. 26)
  4. "Were all the peoples of the earth to join together to harm a single one of the people of Bahá, they would find themselves powerless, for all that they see as harming Thy chosen ones is as light unto them, and as fire unto Thine enemies." (Bahá’u’lláh, Days of Remembrance 8:3)
