  1. @Abu Hadi Do we condone this sort of language against people who identify as Gay?
  2. Entering paradise is prohibited for the spies and gossip mongers Imam Muhammed al-Baqir (as) has said: "'Entering paradise is prohibited to spies and gossip mongers.'" [Saheeh]
  3. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته The following are traditions from the Prophet (saw) and his purified progeny warning against many vices such as : judging the intention of a believer, backbiting a believer, spying and looking for faults privately or other wise, rejoicing at the loss, waiting for one to slip up, talking to them in a harsh manner, having a grudge and enmity in the heart and much more. This is a reminder to myself, before anyone else, particularly in this month of mercy, if we wish to be forgiven we should be merciful amongst ourselves. Cliques, kn
  4. Indeed. The night has just descended upon us here and i will not be responding until tomorrow. I recommend all users focus on what is more important this night and refrain from even being on Shiachat.
  5. Think better of your brother. I am off to perform A'mals, and won't be on tonight. This was an incidental finding. Your issue should be with the Shias dragging the name of your Madhab through mud by acting in this manner and not me for bringing it to your attention.
  6. I've been attacked and no-doubt will be attacked for this thread. But to speak out against this stupidity for the sake of Allah and the purity of message of Muhammed and ale Muhammed, i'll take it. They can rain down their personal attacks if they wish on me. This is bigger than you, me or anyone else.
  7. It was a brief browsing to see what goes on in the 21st Night (martyrdom of Ali (as)). I wanted to know how depraved some communities can get, that they can perform such barbaric acts in these holy nights. You would think they would see sense. I take people hijacking my Madhab very personally.
  8. Brother, i'm showing an inferiority complex by stating some acts are so far from rational behaviour, against our Fitrah in reason and sense, and by virtue of the act in and of itself brings ridicule to the Madhab in a manner which evokes universal disgust from Shia and non-Shia alike? It might be halal to bark like dogs and crawl around shrines as some do, but is that how we carry ourselves out as rational human beings?
  9. Suicide bombing is totally different example. It's performed by 0.0001 percent if not less, of Sunnis and condemned by all their sects whole heartedly. You can't say the same about bizarre Shia rituals which are associated as a religious practise of the sect.
  10. Between Shias and Sunnis, there is little doubt which group has within them the most bizarre customs. Self mutilation of babies, massive blades cutting into scalps and backs, walking on coal, praying on fire, rolling around and covering ones whole body in very thick mud. One needs only google image 'Sunni Muslims' and 'Shia Muslims' before delving into their own research. We even beaten Christians to it, barring the strange types who self-harm. Atheists are lost, and even they are making fun of our self-mutilation rituals, which also gets universal disgust from Sunnis and most Christian
  11. Salamualaykum, If you have any Dua requests, post them here, and i, and perhaps others will pray to Allah on your behalf. Please tonight, pray for my health, by studies and work, and my family. This is the most likely night of destiny (soon in my region). This is also a message that i forgive every single individual, whether i know you have done wrong to me, or i do not know. I also ask you all have it in your hearts to forgive me.
  12. My goodness. No wonder you're so disgusted and pushed to go onto - as i've said before, a bit too opposite- direction. I would not attend that centre and would go to another one that was Shia, else avoid it or leave early before the barbaric rituals started. Have you ever seen someone praying on fire?
  13. @Sumerian Is one scholar leaving another in charge in this manner a justified criteria? Sorry to keep quoting you, but whatever i learn accurately i'll keep and pass it on.
  14. Of course brother, i have no authority to tell anyone what to do, only to make people see reason. It doesn't matter what Marji' permits cutting the scalps of babies.
  15. This wasn't a jurisprudential verdict. If one group of people cut their children and their Marji' say it's okay, and mine says it's utter deviance an devoid of reason, sense and Islam and he has spoken out against it and said she can not remain silent, i'll also join suit and speak out. In this thread, i just wanted to know what you meant by 'Majoosi' practises. What Majoosi events do Shias participate in?
  16. I think also brother , stupidity and superstition exists among some Shias also. We are becoming a laughing stock.
  17. May Allah grant them safety, strength, prosperity, and guide those of them riddled in innovation and supersition - and generally this applies to us all.
  18. I follow a Marji' but i don't need to tell you who.
  19. @Sumerian I knew you would give the most accurate answer. Barakallahufeek.
  20. How shocking. Are you surprised with the amount of sheer bizarre stupidity among Shias no-one takes us seriously?
  21. They should go after Shaykh as-Saduq, Shaykh Tusi, Allama Hilli, if they even read our classical works, let alone know who these scholars are.
  22. Each to their own, but the last thing i would want to do as a Muwahhid and believer in the oneness of Allah, is make fires Zoroastrians in my own country used to worship, and jump over them just like the Zoroastrians used to jump over, imitating them in their rituals over a fire they worshipped. I don't think i would see Imam al-Mahdi (ajfs) do that.
  23. If there are people of Khibra on both sides all claiming their scholar is the most knowledgable, what is the next step one must take ?
  24. As if we couldn't get more bizarre in what we do. Where is this and does anyone know why they are doing this? [Mod Note: The video is from an anti-Shia youtube channel.] Personal note: I was not aware the youtube channel was 'anti-Shia' this just came up when i was also browsing self-mutilation videos of Shias on Laylatul Qadr and other bizarre practises. Not surprising enemies of Shias would want to spread these despicable acts.
