  1. Thank you for linking me to the self-building book.
  2. Ok, my apologies it is from the Quran. It is so frustrating that I cannot edit posts. Anyway, isn't it clear that he is free from error? Realise that a conversation can occur in order to make clear the views or beliefs of the individuals to the audience? It is not a case of suspicion but a case of clarity. And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had
  3. Don't jump to conclusions, you aren't an expert on the Quran and its tafsir and yet you have the boldness to accuse a prophet and messenger of Allah based on your limited understanding of a few verses and a handful of hadiths regarding the dajjal. There is something called context. I'm not sure where you got that verse from, it's probably from the Bible. The Quran emphasises the purity and honour of the prophets why? because people in the past had reduced their status and made many fabrications about them. For example the book of Genesis has a case of incest and drunkenness. Take the Quran for
  4. I wouldn't strain myself worrying about hard-heartedness because you know it is not exactly a quantifiable thing. You could spend your whole life trying to feel that specific way that you are expecting to feel.Of course, you can tell if a person is hard-hearted like Donald Trump by their clearly selfish and immoral actions and a clear indicator of a hard heart is a lack of compassion towards others. The Duas left to us by the Imams are very powerful teachings and teach spiritual realities that can touch your heart if you read the meanings and then go and think about it deeply. Similarly,
  5. I think he means "Ruqyah (plural: ruqa) derives from the past-tense verb raqa. It consists of words said or written in the form of dud or Dhikr for the purpose of protection or cure."
  6. I really wouldn't worry too much unless the dream keeps reoccurring.
  7. Modern-day bodybuilding is great as a hobby, it can be halal provided you lower your gaze at the gym and is good at character building if your training naturally especially you learn patience and hard work and dedication and so on. So I'd recommend it. Within combat I guess it's kinda useless, you get gassed out quicker when your shredded and have a low percentage of body fat, having fat is useful. Not to mention most of them just train muscles for show, it is important to train the back muscles and abdomen and leg's especially for real power and explosiveness. I've heard some probab
  8. @Ali Mahdi Brother, I applied in September 2016 to the SAMPA online application system. I have waited patiently until now yet I have not received any response or indication regarding its progress. Two of the Sheikhs I personally know in Qom who are supporting my application simply tell me it takes a "long time" and that this is simply how things are done, they want to help me but they don't really have much of a say in the process. It is quite upsetting for me because I would prefer to be outright rejected or told it is going to take 2 years of processing rather than being left in th
  9. Ate a basic chicken burger. Eating some pretty gucci pistachio biscuits with a coffee. Will eat some beef hotpot for din dins.
  10. Does anyone here play mount and blade: Warband? I personally spent two years of my life in college playing it competitively its such a good game probably the best medieval combat simulation out there especially the horseback fighting. So many great memories playing in 100v100 clan battles and so on. Im also playing Dragon age Origins as I have a bad tendency to play games 60% of the way through, spending most of the time collecting things and not completing the storyline. Then years later I have to go back and complete it to find out what happens and get some closure :'(.
