Kazemi got a reaction from zahra.ayat5 in Your Lord, the Merciful
سُـبْـحَـانَ ٱلله
By Time, carried by the soaring winds,
Fertilizing the needy to meet their Lord,
And within it are periods of submission,
Upon which He grants His subjects the keys of remembrance,
Lo! Do not lose hold upon the keys by banners of desertion,
It ceases the growth of crops, which arises when remembering Him, Exalted is He,
Nay, do not loosen the knot of Submission, as your Lord blesses you in it's tightening,
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

سُـبْـحَـانَ ٱلله
Oh People of Submission and Humility,
Surely Allah brought beside your wrists the following,
The covenant to be acted accordingly and precise as gems,
The Prophets did not act but as a reminder of welfare to their tribes,
Do not strike the backs of your fellows,
Surely, how great is the call to your Lord, the Mighty, the Merciful!

Kazemi got a reaction from Ashvazdanghe in The Green Banner
سُـبْـحَـانَ ٱلله
The poet arrived with him carrying molten gold from the East and West, exalting His Lord above the worthiness of his needs.
Exalt thy Lord above the values of abundance in such a way, that the green banner of the purified Household be wrapped upon thy tomb bearing the sign:
Indeed,
By we, whom the righteous seek wisdom,
By we, whom the gate to Allah remained open despite the tears of disbelief,
Do no lift this banner, blessed and pure,
Made from silk, gathered where men couldn't gather,
Exalted is He,
Beneficent and Merciful.

Kazemi reacted to Ibn Al-Ja'abi in الحكايات والامثال تغير الاحوال (Arabic Literature with English Translations)
Salams,
This is taken from the twitter of Ahmad al-Jallad, an epigraphist, philologist, and historian of Arabic:
It's written a pre Islamic Ancient North Arabic script, it was pronounced like this:
1) ḥagga mōtu wal-lāẓẓu ṯarām
2) fa-muyakānu layālī-hu wa-ʾaywām-uh
3) wa-hāʾ baʿalu yabītu wa-lā-hu bāta wa-mā nām
It can be put into the Arabic script like this:
حَجَّ مُوتُ وَاللَّاظُّ ثرَام
فَمُيَكَانُ لَيَالِيهُ وَأَيوَامُه
وَهَا بَعَلُ يَبِيتُ وَلَاهُ بَاتَ وَمَا نَام
It means:
1) Mōt has held a feast; the scorner eats
2) Established is the alternation of his nights and days
3) Behold Baʿal slumbers; he slumbers indeed, but not dead…
It isn't the prettiest poem but as far as I'm aware, this is the oldest Arabic poem that's been discovered, undated but the language of these inscriptions (in the Safaitic script) appeared from 100 BC to 300 AD so at latest it is 300 years older than Islam. It tells us many interesting facts about how the Arabic language varied before Islam which the nuhat couldn't have written about.

Kazemi reacted to Abu Nur in Tawheed in action .
All things are from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) means He allows actions to exist (evil and good), but all the good actions is from Him. And when we do evil, it is from ourselves, not from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى). Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) will allow the evil to come to us, that is because of our own action.

Read very carefully:
Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, "This is from Allah "; and if evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All [things] are from Allah ." So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?
What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allah as Witness. Qur'an 4:78-79

Every action Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) allows it or not. And every good action is by Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى).

No. We have the responsibility of free will. Most of what happens in life is a result of our choices or other people's choices.

From it arrives the progeny of dialogue,
Who could differ from it's origin,
Equal to fathers and their sons.

Kazemi reacted to ali_fatheroforphans in Would you/ do you raise your children different to how you were raised?
I will change around some things:
(1) Take my children to the mosque quite often, even if they are a toddler.
(2) Emphasis the importance of Islamic knowledge when they are young. I would happily read them bedtime Islamic stories.
(3) I would never fight/argue with my wife in front of them.
(4) Will be very open with them, so they don't feel judged when asking personal questions
One thing I love about my parents is that they never backbite about anyone, and they're very humble. I never hear my parents boast on about me and my siblings unlike most Pakistani parents.

Kazemi reacted to ireallywannaknow in Would you/ do you raise your children different to how you were raised?
I'd like to raise my children similar to how I was raised. I think my mom did a great job especially with the circumstances she was in. She is one of my biggest role models so I'd like to be the same type of mom as her. The difference would be that inshaAllah my children will have a father that sticks around unlike we did.
Some of the things my mom did that I'd like to copy are being a stay at home mom, homeschooling, emphasis on Islamic teachings at home and being implemented in all areas of life.

Kazemi reacted to Abu Hadi in lRl vs. USA
1) Iran is the only country in the world that is consistently standing up to the Zionist Regime.
2) Iran is the only country that is lead by Wilayat Al Faqih
Each one of these requires further explanation.
First, since the 1967 war, no Arab government has stood up in any real or consistent way to the Zionist Government. This is while Palestinians, their fellow Arabs, are being wiped from the face of the earth in slow motion, before their eyes. Also, Islam's third Holiest site, Masjid Al Aqsa, is being occupied by Zionists. For Arabs, and also for Muslims, this is equivalent to being punched in the face every morning and every evening. Being reminded that although we are many, and the Zionists are few, we are doing nothing while they are doing the above. This is deep river of anger and rage which is there for whoever wishes to tap into it. Iran has successfully tapped into it, and this is big threat to the US/Zionist plans for the region of the Middle East and beyond.
Second, the system of Wilayat Al Faqih is a system that is outside the control of the US and Zionists, which is why they hate it. If they could manipulated / bribe the marjaa' as they bribe and manipulate other politicians, the US and Iran would be best friends as they were under the pre IRI government. They are obsessed with power and control, so they automatically hate anything they can't control. Because of the current world economic system, which is run 100% by banks and mega corporations, these banks and corporations, most of which are headed by Zionists, have the ability to pump up or bring down any national economy in the world. Since these countries are run by politicians, who are most afraid of losing their power, these politicians known that to face down the Zionists and these corporations means their economy will go down and because of that they people will turn against them and they will lose their political power. So although they may disagree with the way these things are run, they will never openly confront the 'powers that be' because of this fact. The only country in the world that is actually confronting these policies is Iran, which makes them a threat to the current order of things, with big banks and corporations at the top and everyone else under their feet. The Wilayat Al Faqih is the head of the groups that are confronting this system, openly, and groups are uniting and organizing under this leadership.
So although I do not agree with everything the is done by IRI (I have stated plainly, many times the areas where I disagree) I believe that overall, the world is a better place because of the existence of the IRI, may Allah(s.w.a) protect them and strengthen them and strengthen and project our Wilayat Al Faqih and our marjaa' and all the mumineen and muminat. I get up every morning and pray that I will live to see the day that there is a flag, other than the Zionist flag, being raised over Masjid Al Aqsa, InShahAllah.

Iran has resources and is in a strategically important location but since they do not slave and degrade themselves for others they will not be left alone.
More importantly, they are the only enemy of israel.

Kazemi reacted to notme in #45 Forgiveness Poll
I have neither the energy nor the inclination to hold grudges, but forgiveness does not mean the offense has been forgotten. The reason God allows us to make mistakes is to give us the opportunity to learn from them. I might misjudge a person's character once or twice, but eventually I will learn what they are really like and act accordingly.
