  1. Brother, As @AmirAlmuminin Lover said, we should be rational. We believe that jinn and other ghaibs are present. Sihr and black magic are also present. Waswas (the feeling that we can't focus all the time, always worrying sth, etc) is also Shaytan's deed for us. Black magic, as far as I know, is sth done by person by the help of jinn to disturb others. We should differentiate between waswas and black magic. If we blame black magic for ourselves being not able to focus, we are blaming someone other. If it is waswas, we must increase our zikr shield. Especially in the morning and in the evening (after Subh and before Magrib). These zekrs are very good for abandoning evils; either waswas or black magic. Morning duas http://www.duas.com/collection.php?id=2 Evening duas http://www.duas.com/collection.php?id=3 If it is really a black magic, these prayers and duas may help: http://www.duas.org/magic.htm http://www.duas.com/dua/543/dua-to-heal-the-afflicted-by-the-evil-eye-or-other-afflictions
  2. Dear brothers and sisters, thank you very much for all of your responses. I've got many precious lesson and now I've calmed. I decided to give my friends' brestmilk to my baby indirectly from bottle. They are very kind Moslems and I asked them to eat entirely halalan tayyiban foods. Thank you very much and may Allah bless you all.
  3. salam dear brothers and sisters I am a mother of a Sayyed under 1 year. This is also so sudden dor me but I am very lucky to be called to do hajj this year. I will take off in this week. The confirmation is about two weeks before going/take off. (quite sudden, isnt it) I pumped and expressed my breastmilk everyday but I am sure it won't be enough for my 40 day trip for hajj. I looked for breastfeeding mom to give my baby milk indirectly from bottle so that they won't be considered mahram in the future. I got 2 moms. One of them is a shia, I thought that she is very good person. The other is a sunni. But later I knew that my shia friend's husband is a son of zina. (the father of my friend's baby is a son of zina) My question: will her breastmilk affected by her husband? Or can a sunni mother give breastmilk to my baby? I am now in a deep doubt about this. Again, my baby is a Sayyed. I want to give the better choice of milk from a good background. I also heard that for temporary replacement of breastmilk, goat milk is a good choice. which one will be a better choice? Thank you for your help.
  4. Salaam alaykum, I am currently living in Mashhad for continuing my PhD. I got a scholarship, but not for Islamic studies, though. Along with my classes in univ, I still want to attend free Islamic courses and lessons here, if there are some. Anyone here knows about where in Mashhad I can get free lessons about specific topics like tafseer, philosophy, etc. ?
  5. Salaam alaykum blessed Brothers and Sisters, I want to learn Islam and Shia more deeply. I also want to learn more on about how to live, how to face life, how to think. Where and how should I start if I want to learn Islam and Shia more deeply? And also where and how should I start if I want to learn about philosophy? Thank you very much. Salaam.
  6. Why we don't even need to worry about that? Here I am wondering why I am even here. I don't know asking this is appropriate or not: Why is it a mercy when He is creating us (with free will in ourselves), then leaving us in this world, then punishing us after that? Here He "lefts" us in this world of course with direction from His Prophets and Imams, but why must we even work hard to find and know what is His direction, rules, etc. when we didn't even ask to be born? It isn't hard to do? But for me it is hard. For example, for fiqh there are sooooo many items I should read and obey. Even if there will be no punishment for me If I do something wrong without my knowing or without any prior knowledge about that, the time when I know it will left me with upset and guilty feeling.
  7. Salam alaykum beloved Brothers and Sisters, I have a question burdening me. I hope you can help me by giving logical and reasonable response. I have never asked to be born, even if I did, I forgot it long time ago when my mom gave birth to me. Even so, why must I live in this world and be obedient to God's rules (i.e. religion) in order to be safe in the hereafter? Thank you very much for your help. Salam.
