    Salaam Alaykum brother
    Hope you doing well
    1. I never got any dua from anyone in my life before. I search for duas myself. This is the best one I found. Its Monajat Amiralmuminin with Allah. It makes me cry sometimes. I listen to it at least one time every week, sometimes everyday. I hope you know a bit of Arabic because knowing what it says makes it more beautiful

    2. Last time I saw my parents face to face was over 3 years ago (I live in US, and my parents in Iran). I don't remember to be honest, but I remember one time clearly that my mother shouted at me loudly and said:" You are stupid". My brother was there. He also heard. I was looking at the ground the entire time and didn't say anything. My brother was surprised because of my reaction. From that time, my mum always says I have good temper

    3. My beloved person, the most and the top of the top is Hazrat Fatimah. If you ask about among people that I know around myself, I would say my parents.

    Salaam Alaykum
I live in Chicago, and I do have some activities at Shia Mosques here. There is one shia mosque in Chicago called MASOM. Here is the link(you can see address and Sheikh of the mosque):
    http://masom.com
There is one Shia mosque at Streamwood called baitulilm which is one hour drive from Chicago. Here is the link(baitulilm is جامع mosque):
    http://www.baitulilm.org
There is one Shia mosque at Glendale Heights(one hour drive from Chicago). I don't know the link. Most people over there are from India. I attended this mosque several times.
There is one Irshad Learning Center at Naperville (one hour drive from Chicago) which are mostly Iranians. I am active in this mosque and help in their programs. They send emails to all members regarding programs. They also advertise in Telegram(social media).
If you ask me where you should go, go to a city which is good for your children. I personally like Dearborn, but I don't know anything of their programs. There is one Shia school, full time, at Schaumburg Illinois called Hadi. This is very good, since your children can go to Shia school and you don't need to be worried about inappropriate normal school teachings. Some people send their children to Christian or Sunni schools, but I don't recommend it. One Iranian said my child asking about Jesus.
It's very important the place you go and the school you send your children. If you have shia school in that area, you have peace of mind. Moreover, I saw that you are looking for a perfect place which is good both in economy and religion. You need compromise. Otherwise, you spend a lot of time on this and I don't think you can find such a place. I personally like Dearborn, but as I said I don't know that much of their programs. I want my children to have Shia friends. Plus I want my family to have access to mosque easily. That's why I said Dearborn.

It makes me very sad and very angry seeing Yemeni people in that situation. May Allah curse Saudi, Israeli, and US militaries. They are true enemy of Islam (Shiite and Sunnism). I hope Syed Yamani appear soon and help our brothers and sisters. I guess the best thing we can do, is informing others about what is going on in Yemen.
We need people like Dr. Mustafa Chamran and Imam Mousa Sadr in our time to empower Yemen.

AmirAlmuminin Lover got a reaction from shia farm girl in How to increase fear of Allah (SWT) ?
    Salaam Alaykum
Having fear of Allah is very good and our religion recommends it. It prevents us from doing sin. I remember a story from the prophet Moses. Prophet Moses saw two prisons, one very healthy and the other one skinny and weak. Both of them freed later. Moses asked the healthy one:" why are you healthy and in a good shape at prison?" He answered:" I had good view of Allah in prison that I'll be freed". The skinny one said:" I had fear of Allah". Moses asked Allah:" which one has more Manzilat in front of you?" Allah said:" The one that has optimistic view of me".
I didn't say this to say Allah fear is bad, No. As Imam Sadegh said, we should always be in خوف and رجا. This fact helps us in life, but always be optimist, have positive view of life and Allah even if something bad happens. Trust him. Allah knows what hes doing.

May Allah help you. I do dua for you. Please don't pollute your clear spirit. I know a lot of people who were addicted to this sin, but they got rid of it successfully. Be energetic and hopeful. Allah and Ahlulbait would help you. If you need help, pm me. Some of people who avoided this sin became energetic and religious after that. I'm sure you can also get rid of this sin and be Zinat for Ahlulbait inshaallah.

AmirAlmuminin Lover got a reaction from Mohammadi_follower in Racism
I had been subject of recism before because I'm Hazarah. Hazarah people have some common traces with people of Afghanistan. If you look at them, you notice that from their faces. Hazarah people are hard working and sincere, BUT they are subject of racism from some immature Iranian people in Iran and outside of Iran. Afghani people and Hazarah people sometimes being tortured emotionally from the eyes and sharp words of some people in Iran. I remember that a guy at school used to disrespect me just because I'm Hazarah. It's SO unjust. I can't describe how a person feels when he/she is racism subject. People who do racism are small pitiable people.
Racism is a huge topic, and it's pretty common in west. I remember when a bomb attack happened in France, YouTube used France flag on its website. A week before that, there was a terrorist attack in middle east (I think Lebonan), but nobody said anything. This is racism. If they are concerned about humanity, middle easterns are also human. Another example. You probably saw that when an Indian or Afghani person converts to Islam, people are not that much excited compared to when an American person converts to Islam. This is racism. Racism is far more common than what we think. I noticed this a lot that some Iranians think they are much better and more human than Afghani people. So stupid idea. Afghani people and Iranians are talking same language, same religion, and live in almost same geographic location.  My friend who claimed to be religious told me one time:" Amin, whenever I see an Afghani person in the bus, I want to go and beat him". See how inhumane is his comment. I hate racism and people with racism mentality.

I've seen that some guys marry wrong girls and vice versa. I have religious friends that never touched any girl (not even hand shake), but they get rejected or the girl's parents reject their proposals without telling the girl. Another thing is that guys get rejected at the first few seconds because of height or looks or job. Same thing happens for girls. Some guys reject a very good family oriented and practicing girl just because of looks. Some of these men are claiming to be religious (same for girls). These are things that I saw among Muslim community. Some girls think that a potential case doesn't have enough maturity to run a family and reject the case within 30-90 mins of talking. Patience is the key for both genders. We need to understand that the other person is new in marriage same as us, so give him/her a chance to continue talking with you.
Inshaallah it will be solved. Continue searching and involve your family. Usually a religious guy doesn't approach you directly, he send a third person to talk to your parents or you.

Their troops were not fighting the ISIS. They are among the creators of ISIS & they are the ones who are supplying arms & ammunition as well as training to them.
That's why I have used the term "evil" in my previous post.

    Salam brothers and sisters!
I grew up in a not so religious family, but my whole family identifies as Christians. My grandparents were raised baptists and raised my mom that way, but ever since i Can remember, my mom has taken me and my brothers to a Non-denominational church. We quit going to church much when i was around 9 maybe. And i just never really cared to focus on religion for a few years after that. I believed that something had to create everything, but where did that something come from? How do i worship one God, but that one God is 3 beings? I was very confused.
But as the years went by, when i was about 14, i began my own research. I wanted to find the truth. I read about Christianity, i felt some of it was right, but other things didn't sit right with me. I looked into Sikhism, loved how peaceful it was, but Reincarnation is not a belief of mine. Judiasm didn't accept Jesus, and any idol worshiping or magick religion was just too weird for me to really acknowledge, even though i did do some research a few of them. So all that was left for me to really dive into was Islam, i did some research, and unlike Judiasm, Islam accepts Jesus as a prophet and follows his teachings, and there is no story about how Jesus, a man, rose from the dead. Islam didnt claim God to be 3 in 1, which always threw me off in Christianity. And the many proven miracles of the Quran. The Quran says the earth is round, we now know it is. The Quran says that there is a protective sheild in the sky, sience calls this the atmosphere. Just many, many things point towards the Quran being truthful and showing evidence through facts that were not known during the time the book was given to us by Allah. It blew my mind, i felt like i had finally found the truth but i never took the step of converting and less than a month later i was back to doing what I normally do. Not thinking about religion, until a little over a month ago, I am now 17, i would every now and then try to get into islam but i didnt have the drive for it. Until one day, i was feeling alone, weak, lost, and decided to look into Islam more. I began reading the Quran online. I felt at peace every time i read it. So I ordered a physical copy of the Quran, and just the other day i decided to convert. hamdullah! Now i read the Quran multiple times every day. I try to pray on time, but i cant some days because of school, i have been trying to make up my missed prayers though. Really my only struggle now is getting my parents and brothers to accept my conversion, changing their biased view of Islam due to the media and inshallah, hopefully helping to get them to the point of conversion as well.
Allah has shown me the truth, hopefully soon my family and friends too.

    As salaamun aleikum,  @Carlzone
Great suggestion about the beet root!
A couple years ago, i was experienceing this whole"out of breath" thing every time i would work out and especially when i would go hiking. I would feel super tired and yawn alot, for no reason that i could come up with. I did some studying and looking into it, and based on my experience, i was short of oxygen in my blood for some reason, so i began to juice and add raw organic beets to my kale juices before i would head out the door and IT WORKED! No more yawning and feeling tired when i go for hikes and work out. I dont remember the science behind it, but im sure its available by a simple google search as thats how i learned about it.
I know there are beet capsules available at health and vitamin shops, but i think the fresh raw sources are the best for our dietary needs, but whatever works best for people.
Hope this helps the op as much as its helped us.

    This goes a long way:
    1. Eat healthy and regularly.
    2. Excersize regularly.
    3. Sleep enough.
    4. Check your vitamin levels etc at the doctors. (Many years ago I found out my vitamin d levels were horrific, since then I eat supplements. Now I also eat iron supplements.)
If you have too much on your schedule - remove less important things and relax/do things that energize you instead.
