Can you ask Allah for death?

My dream and biggest wish is to die as a martyr. But what if I cant achieve it? Can I ask Allah for death? Lately I have become really ill and depressed. I have thought about suicide, but its haram. I am not intimidated by death at all.

Iddah for Mutah = confusing story

Al Hadi is right. I have been also told the same thing. Nonmuslim parents have no authority on you when it comes to marriage and religion.

    Biokinesis in Shia islam

So I came across an article talking about biokineses, I am not sure about how it works and if looking forward to it is haram. I am just curious about it. I have never tried it myself and I think it is a waste of time. Anyone, thoughts on this?

    Trans-humanism or human animal hybrids

I think DigitalUmmah is right. Humans alter, we are born to alter, we exist to alter. We destroy habits, making some species of animals go exist and change how materials are just for our benefit. If we wanted, we could destroy mountains, or we could leave every animal or living creature on Earth extinct. This world has been made for us, and what it has concerns our benefits. This world is just finite, and everything you have in it will not stay for ever, everything will eventually fade. The creation of a mule is something we humans make happen. If you deprive a horse from the opposite sex of his own species, then to pass on his offspring he will probably mate with the most likely creature to him. That action of depriving the horse and making him mate with a donkey is against nature. The fruits and crops that we eat are naturally selected, we mate the plants with the traits we want them to have. That is similar to what people in our days are doing in a lab, they are just exchanging genes. This is vital for us humans, as there is more diseases and fast growing population. Even WE are prone to this kind of selection of genes, we as humans tend to be ATTRACTED to certain possible mates because the body usually consideres which is the best possible mate for having a health offspring. Go ask any women, do you like tall man? what do you think are they going to tell you? Go ask a man, do you like women with nice hips? We are attracted to people with these traits because they can be vital, we are looking for the 'fittest' mate. The mate that will be able to to produce the best offspring, or will be better able to defend his family or the women that will be able to take better care of kids. Life is unfair, this world is just a mess.

I'm having trouble understanding Free Will

Free will is your capacity to choose. This ability is based on your will power, intelect and determination. Not everything you want is beneficial to you, and taking wrong desicions can leave in future regret and frustration.

    How to be more charitable?

Just think about the aftermath. Think about hiw proud you will be of yourself. Take that feeling of happiness and try seeking it more frequently. Make being charitable become an addiction or something key in your life. And remaind yourself about Ahlul bayt... Remember Khadija... Indeed, their remembrance will never be ereased.

    Loneliness

There is some Shia mosques, but they are quite far from where I live. I attended the mosques many times, but I still couldnt find not even a single youth! As if they just washed down their culture, believes and language. I mean, I dont mind grown/old people. But the problem with them is that they dont take you too serious, they look down at people my age. They stereotype me. To be frank. I am lately thinking about marriage. But the problem is that I just recently turned 19 and I still didnt even finish collage. I am thinking about the possibility of a mutua marriage with one of the Christian girls in school. But I am just worried about what she might do to me. I dont want to have kids accidently with a non-muslim and at this age if she isnt careful enough. I also dont want to get too interwind with her and end up marrying her or getting sad if I break up with her. I just wish to have that self emotional sufficiency, not being depente on people to feel happy.

How many hours do you sleep?

I sleep a minimum of 5 hours. Most of the time I just sleep 6 hours. When I sleep 8 hours I feel the most comfortable.
