  1. Hey girl I'm Ali, we could both adopt a child because I'm the father of orphans.
  2. actually just googled that mosque, yeah lol I take back what I said. That mosque looks amazing!
  3. Well technically it does come in the Islamabad/Rawalpindi area. Faisal Mosque all the way. Also, you'll love Blue Area! Islamabad has Monal Restaurant! It's on the hills. Btw our biryani is actual biryani, not like pallow.
  4. If you ever visit Murree In Islamabad, that's enough to convince you that Islamabad > Lahore. Also I'm not sure but I've heard that our biryani is better? maybe I'm wrong.
  5. Salam, I just watched a lecture by Mohammed Baqer Qazwini, and he threw in some halal pick-up lines. I don't encourage anyone to use them, but I thought it may be a fun thread to start (hopefully lol). Be creative and come up with your own. - "You're my ka'ba, I could run around you all day long"
  6. to be honest Islamabad is worth it imo. I might be a bit biased but yeah defs go to Islamabad. I haven't been to Pakistan for about 10 years now, but inshallah I'll go at the end of this year.

  8. Yeah you can link this story to today's society. Everyone is experimenting and trying new filthy things. When people refuse to accept the laws of God, this is the result.
  9. I agree with you because the verses of the Qur'an say that those people preferred men over women. Prophet Lut (عليه السلام) said it in a way as if their bodily need wasn't natural. It seems to me that these verses describe people who were experimenting shamelessly. It also says "And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives?"
  10. Yeah it's entirely up to the individual. I know for a fact that I ain't marrying a granny. It's more of a personal preference that age gap should be reasonable. Like there's this issue of attraction too I guess.
  11. Salam, There was an thread started about all the Iraqi users. I was wondering who's Pakistani here? Also which city are you from? I'm an Islamabadian
  12. Well it's just how some people think and how they've been raised. I know even my own parents are okay with an age gap of 20 years. My grandmother got married when she was 17 to my grandad who was 40 years older than her. These young girls are assured that it's all good as long as you have a husband who has a good post, earns a decent amount, and is mature. No one looks beyond this, whether the couple are compatible and can get along. It's common sense that it's going to be hard for a young girl to relate to an uncle lol.
  13. That's actually very weird. The age gap is too big, and both of youse will find it hard to relate to each other. I mean you would probs treat that person as an uncle. Immaturity and youthfulness is kinda good in a sense and it takes the fun away if you end up with an uncle. You both are supposed to struggle and grow together. That 40 year old uncle has already been through a lot without you. I donno this is my opinion.
  14. Yeah this applies to all online interactions, and even real-life interactions. I guess this thread could be simply called 'online interactions'. @AStruggler actually sat down with a well-known qualified scholar and discussed this topic in detail - mainly online interactions (real life ones too). It's summarised in this word document -----> https://1drv.ms/w/s!AvouU1cZOjoZmiAMfF9ElT1ljDBX
