  1. I don't see any wisdom in making music haram , music is beautiful and doesn't cuz any harm to us , so why would Allah make it haram , it doesn't make sense ? .. hope someone give logical explanation if they think it's music is haram

  2. in my own ethical group tradition , before islam women were the one to take all father inheritance , so women had the inheritance of their fathers while men had to go out and work , when arab traders come to my land nubia they married the women to take their inheritance that were left to them by their nubian fathers and because even after we converted to islam we kept that tradition it became disadvantage to the young nubian males , cuz the land now became owned by arab men and they would only heir other arabs and not heir the nubian youth .. so the nubians then banned there women from marrying outside the nubians and if she did she loss her inheritance left to her by her father to her male brothers or uncles or any male in the family close to her father , and that male will have to give her part of the money that come out of the inheritance , inheritance back then were usually land or gold .

so mixed race marriages were ok but it cuz problems to the community system thus it was banned , but that was long time ago before forced migration we were subjected too and now we live in city and the life kind changed .

Dear brother/sister, peace be upon you, and ofcourse, we follow islam and we are 'muslims' as the Quran commanded us to be and name ourselves when asked.

But as muslims, what sunnah do we adhere to? The Messenger of Allah [saw] - but where do we obtain and get his sunnah from?

I wish to ask, a simple question, if i may:

What do you think of those people who claim Allah has a foot, above his footstool, ascends and descends, has eyes, fingers, a shin, and appears and reappears?

    salam alikum ..

    answer for your questions .

1.where we get our sunnah = we get our sunnah from quran . .. and hadiths are to be put into the test and see if they contradict what we have in our quran or not .. so in end quran will always be the first and main source for where we get our sunnah

and what I think of people who claim Allah have foot and eyes and such , I think of them same as those who claim Allah or god begotten a son , it obvious nonsense cuz their is nothing like Allah and Allah is above all earthy things.

  4. yeah shia islam is not real islam , and there is also no such thing as sunni or sufi islam .. their is only ISLAM  .. so you can respond to them by saying yes there is no such thing as shia islam or sunni or sufi or salafit islam , there is only one islam and only one quran .

all those different sects can argue all they want and put labels to divide the ummah , but in end it's Allah who will judge all of us and quran is here and preserved to be the furqan on who real muslim and who munafiq

  5. Allah didn't create hell for people who don't love him , Allah created hell for zalemin tyranny

suah al kahf ayah number 29

    (29) And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place.

    surah nabaa 21-30

    (21) Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait

    (22) For the transgressors, a place of return,

    (23) In which they will remain for ages [unending].

It's exactly same if we say selam 'aleyhi or 'aleyhi selam... there's no difference. So, the meaning cannot be different.

I agree that selam should be used only for prophets, messengers, 'imams and Rooh a.s., if we don't have any further evidence.

But, what I tried to argue here is that "selam" is not greeting, somebody hijacked it and we're following them.

Anyways, the ultimate proof should be based on the Qur'an, Allah's swt Qawl, El-Haqq.

the evidences on salam greeting from Quran :

    ﴿ وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُمْ بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيباً ﴾ surah nisaa ayah no.86

When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allah is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things.

Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salam: Peace (i.e. the angels will say to them: Salamu 'Alaikum)!" And He has prepared for them a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).

(54) ﴾ surah al-An'aam  no.54

When those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) come to you, say: "Salamun 'Alaikum" (peace be on you); your Lord has written Mercy for Himself, so that, if any of you does evil in ignorance, and thereafter repents and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allah), then surely, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Its clear and easy to understand when there is an Imam or a Prophet to explain stuff.

why you adding words where it's not , the aya clearly say that quran is clear for understanding for those who read it , their is no mention for imam , also prophet Mohammed is the last prophet so how can it be clear only to prophets when their no more prophets to come ?

  8. Salam alikuim is a way of greeting between believers/muslims and it come from word salam mean peace , so salam ] peace , alikuim mean to you , so the greeting mean " peace be on to you " .

the other salam you mention , seem like you confused between the respect salam we say after mentioning prophets name and the salam we say as greeting .. when we say prophet name as a way of respect we say prophet Mohammed a lihi salam = peace be upon him . . it's as a way of respect to the prophets .

when we mention a righteous muslim scholar or companion or any of ahlylbat we say Radia Allah anhu mean god be pleased with them .

and I think the greeting is the same whether it be sunni or shia they both greet and do the respect after prophats name same way .
