to be honest I used to think people who cry were acting , I don't know maybe it's just me but I don't cry nor do I feel strong emotion , I just feel like it's normal routine thing for me to do cuz I am used to it .

as born muslim , I don't understand the feeling of converts/reverts ... to be honest I don't understand why did he cry , what makes you get emotional during the shahada point , the sheikh before he say the shahada he talked to him"my friend who converted" about what's islam is , explained to him . can someone like explain why you cry , what do you feel at the moment of your conversion ?

can you give me both the shia and sunni view on this matter ! he 40 years old and he told me that he wanted to convert to islam , so I took him to local masjid , and I became witness on his conversion , but he still doesn't know much about wuduu & salah , so I show him videos and explained to him . I will still teach him about fasting and ramadan soon but their is problem he was ex-christian so I think he wasn't circumcised so is his salah accepted or is he still not true muslim yet ? this is my personal opinion , muslim was told to wear hijab for safety reasons , so lets say in west muslim women get attacked because of their hijab , so I think in that kind situation muslim women shouldn't wear it . anything else I think it's choice , I like Niqab and hijab and I wear when I want to , I love hijab and it's already became part of who I identify as so I can't take it off even if I wanted too .

even sufis who like the most peaceful kind muslims have jihad as well , jihad is for self defense .. and in war their is no such thing as being too voleint , you are fighting someone who want to kill you , rape your women , steal your land . off course you gonna show no mercy , but unlike other religions , Islam have many set of rules known as ethical of war in islam .

yeah it was necessary to me to ask cuz I can understand if muslim guy who married christian or Jew women for him to want his kids to grow up as muslim but as muslims who belong to different sects and both sects seems to have tension between each other I was wondering how would they grow up their children , would they tell him to respect the sahaba or would they tell him that the sahaba is traitors who betrayed the imam and stole the caliphate , what you view as simple is very important actually , specially when countries that have both shia and sunnis like iraq and syria they used to live in
