My condolences to the mourners of the martyrdom of Lady Fatima(a.s).

She passed away when she was 18 year, about 6 months after the Prophets(s) passing. Her grave has been kept secret from the muslims even until today. She was angry with abu bakr up until her death according to Sahih Bukhari. Among other things she was denied the garden oasis of Fadak that the Prophet(s) had gifted her during his time and the reply she got when she wanted to claim it was that the Prophets do no leave heritage. That is untrue according to the Holy Qur'an.

"... So abu bakr refused to give anything to Fatima. So she became angry with abu bakr and kept away him, and did not task to him till she died. She remained alive for six months after the death of the Prophet. When she died, her husband Ali, buried her at night without informing abu bakr and he said the funeral prayer by himself..."

    Salam Alaikum
The biggest mistake is thinking divine protection is dependent on our awareness of the danger and conscious action against it. Truth is that angels through the grace of God prevent disaster from happening on every front without our awareness or control. Only few of the dangers are brought to our consciousness and even fewer are righted or adjusted through our intervention

Shout out to CM for raising this topic
As a member of the female race, I appreciate it when brothers talk about the importance of proper hijab. Why?
Because they know how guys think.
He's giving me the male perspective that some choose to be oblivious to.
With all the "fashion" hype and advertising of women, we should take advantage of every opportunity to empower Hayaa and modesty and true beauty for the sisters.

    salam,
i know most women dont like to be preached by men about what to wear, but considering it is becoming a ridiculous way to avoid pushing towards proper hijab, i am posting this in the brother's forum.
Some materials to post on social media:

There are hundreds of videos on Ahlul Bayt TV on youtube.  I hope these are helpful.  A book I've recently ordered (not yet arrived) is 'The Succession to Muhammad' by Wilfred Madelung.  I haven't read it yet so I can't comment but you can get it on amazon.  I hope this helps.
I'm not a Muslim but am looking into Islam.  So far from what I've understood the Shia seem to me to be the true followers of the prophet Muhammad (pbuhahf).

    Welcome to the forum.
    1. We do not pray on a stone, technically. What you see most Shi'as praying on is actually a lump of clay. As for why, we believe that the only surface on which the Sajdah for salat is permissible is the earth, and all things that grow from it. This is a sign of one's humility in front of his/her Lord, to put his head to the sand, to submit before God. Since you don't find a lot of unadulterated ground these days - most of the 'ground' you find these days is actually laden with concrete - we use lumps of clay and keep them in our houses. More convenient than going out of the house everytime you want to pray, no?
    2. None of our scholars have called Sunnis Kafirs. A lot of Sunnis, on the other hand, routinely call us kuffar and mushrikeen. Whoever told you otherwise has lied to you.
    3. We believe that once can do tawassul with the Prophet and the Holy Imams - i.e., once can ask them to intercede with Allah on our behalf. Thus, some call upon Imam Ali to intercede with God when they have a problem. Some Shi'as, however, do find the practice problematic, just as some Sunnis do.
    4. We don't curse the companions, as a whole. Whoever told you this has lied to you, just as with your second question. We do, however, disassociate ourselves from, and send la'an (asking God to remove His blessing from an individual) upon those who wronged the family of the Prophet.
    5. No, we do not worship graves. Once again, a lie with no basis whatsoever.
    6. Taqiyyah is the option given by Allah (SWT) for one to hide their true belief if their life of livelihood is in imminent danger. And, it's not just a Shi'i belief. We have the example of Yasir ibn Yasir, who was one of the greatest companions of the Prophet but, because he was tortured by the pagans and could no longer take their abuse, outwardly recanted his belief in Islam in order to stop them from harming him any further. Once he was let go, Ammar, still a true Muslim in his heart, returned to the Prophet and told him what had happened. And, Allah (SWT) revealed the following verse:
[16:106] Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith...
The Qur'an clearly states that there is nothing wrong with lying about your true belief if your life is in danger. And, that's all taqiyyah is. It's not a free pass to lie about whatever the hell we want, whenever we want, as those who like to spread lies would tell you.
    7. A marja is like a mufti. A scholar of the religion who is considered competent enough and well-versed enough in matters of the religion for normal people, who may not have the ability to derive religious ruling themselves, to refer to.

I see. But to whom should one be kind to?
Also, what do you say about those who act disrespectful if you are kind/respectful but act respectful if your not respectful towards them, how would you say one should handle those situations?
If I have understood you correctly, then you are saying that a person that is not kind is also not humble?

The man said, "I have not eaten anything other than it since you commanded me." The Imam [a] said, "How did you eat it?" The man said, "Cooked." Imam al-Kadhim [a] then said, "No, eat it as a kebab." "The endometrium is the innermost glandular layer and functions as a lining for the uterus, preventing adhesions between the opposed walls of themyometrium, thereby maintaining the patency of the uterine cavity. During the menstrual cycle or estrous cycle, the endometrium grows to a thick, blood vessel-rich, glandular tissue layer. This represents an optimal environment for the implantation of a blastocyst upon its arrival in the uterus. The endometrium is central, echogenic (detectable using ultrasound scanners), and has an average thickness of 6.7 mm.    During pregnancy, the glands and blood vessels in the endometrium further increase in size and number. Vascular spaces fuse and become interconnected, forming the placenta, which supplies oxygen and nutrition to the embryo and fetus."

In order to solve this problem, one should distinguish between arrogance (takabbur), humility (tawaadhu'), and abasement (tadhallul).
Tawaadhu' is one of the great attributes of true believers and those who observe it are the closest people to Allah s.w.t.
Imam as-Saadiq a.s.: "It is in the revelations of Allah to the prophet Dawood that 'O Dawood, as the closest people to Allah are those who observe tawaadhu', the furthest people from Allah are the arrogant."
This moral value has two extreme sides:
    excessive observance of tawaadhu', which is abasement;
excessive rejection of tawaadhu', which is arrogance.
Between these two extreme sides is tawaadhu', and Imams have mentioned some signs for it.
Hassan bin Jahm says, "I asked: [Imam ar-Ridha a.s.] what is the definition of tawaadhu'?" He said, "Tawaadhu' has levels, some of which are: to know the status of one's soul and place it in its right place, having a sound heart, not to like to be treated except the way he treats people, to repel evil [conduct] with good, to suppress his anger and forgive people and Allah loves the virtuous"
Imam as-Saadiq a.s.: "among the signs of tawaadhu' is to be satisfies with any position to sit, to say hello to whoever you meet, to abandon the useless discussion even if you are right, and to not like to be admired because of taqwaa."
