  1. I believe most of his lectures are to address the non Shia followers (more precisely for Ahle Sunnah) and referring the Shia Hadith might not be convincing for them, that's why he refers siah sittah Hadith.
  2. Assalamalekum Brothers and Sisters, It's the holy month of Muharram and the great Ashura has already passed. I would like to draw and topic to you and share my findings on the context. Kindly guide me on the issue if required. Fasting on 10th of Muharram is a common practice all over the world. However, I'd like to dissect the issue based on a lecture of Syed Ammar Nakshwani below: 1. Hadith of Fasting in Ashura Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina and saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura. He asked them about that.
  3. Assalamalekum brothers and sisters, In my community (Indo-Pak) our elders have been celebrating Nowroz from a long time ago. As per my findings it's a Persian new year (1st day of spring), but is it related with our religion? and if yes then what practices should be performed that day ? Salam
  4. Mashallah brother, thank you for sharing. Would appreciate if you could contribute a bit more which might help my work furthermore
  5. Assalamalekum, While I was working on my new journal I wanted to add a topic regarding the additions in Adhaan. As per my knowledge, the addition of "Ashahadu Ali-un Waliullah" was added in Adhaan by Umar bin Abdul aziz (please rectify me if wrong) which was a political act against the propaganda of cursing Imam Ali (AS) from the mosques. My point is, if "Assalatu Khairal Minan Nawm" could be be added later on (after the death of Prophet (SAW) in Adhaan by Umar bin khattab (please rectify me if wrong), so it should be permissible also to call Ali's (AS) name after adhaan. Your contribu
  6. Assalamalekum brothers and sisters, I have always been asking our shia brothers and sisters in my country regarding an issue which is being educated. I have watched our shia's to attend azadari and matam during only 10 days of Muharram and remaining inactive all over the year. Moreover, they only hear the majlis and mourn these 10 days, and when people from other sects questions us-we remain silent due to being less educated regarding shia doctrines and jurisprudence. I believe through this website we should encourage our shia brothers to provide a minimum knowledge we would help them to
