I do follow it from time to time, it has critical views of US foreign policy, and it has even academics from the west that you'd never see invited to mainstream US media channels like Noam Chomsky for example. Is it biased? Of course it is, if you want critical views of the Russian government, don't look to RT to provide that for you, but if you want a critical perspective on US policies, it is a pretty good outlet. It obviously will not portray the US accurately in every regard, but like I said it does have academics who present facts you can't really argue with on their shows.

But then you have 2 options. You either have faith that god exists, or you have faith that god doesn't exist. At that point, it just boils down to faith, not evidence.

The most logical stance is agnosticism.
But it depends if you have faith.

Well it is very difficult to begin.
like i said, i do believe in a creator. But i question whether God is omnibevolent, omnipotent and omniscient, reasons which will take ages to explain
I am not really certain that the quran is the authentic word kf God. Also, i believe as many seemingly violent quotes in the quran always have a context linking bck to the time it was written, why do muslims still take EVERYTHING from the quran
similarly, i dont one hundred percent agree with islam’s justice for women, but again i admit i am an ignorant person on this

Out of 1.7bn Muslims, ISIS might be 0.01% or less (170,000). Take any country and ask them if 0.01% of their population are criminals and you will get a resounding YES.
US averaged about 2.3 million people in prison in 2017. That is over 0.7%.
So why is it that you the actions of 0.01 on a faith but the actions of 0.7% are just 'mis-guided' individuals?
But you haven't proven that ISIS does what they do based on Islamic doctrine. They follow wahabism which is distinctly different from Islam.
Once again, if you can generalize against all Muslims based on the actions of 0.01%, then generalize against all Burmese as well. Call of Burmese rapists and mass murderers.
This is nothing but typical brain-washed thinking. Someone shoots 25+ people at a concert and is not not Muslim - "oh poor misguided individual; he had mental issues".
Someone drives a truck on a sidewalk and happens to be Muslim - "those damn Muslims"
This is is wahabi/salafi problem. It needs to be addressed to them, not all Muslims. Name any Muslim terror group and their links can be traced to wahabi/salafi school of thought. Blaming all Muslims is sheer ignorance.
Wahabism is a doctrine. Islam is a religion. If rape was an Islamic doctrine, then more than 0.01% would be doing this. You want to limit your 'logical conclusion' to Islam. I am saying, let's expand it because if men of all faiths rape, then surely it is more than an Islamic problem. Logical?
The problem is the group, not Islam.
This violence and terrorism that ISIS and their likes are committing - who has been their largest group of victims? Muslims!!!
It is so ironic that you are blaming Muslims for terorrism even though their terror is being committed against other Muslims. If this was an Islamic issue, all Muslims would be killing and raping non-Muslims.
It not people, its the Saudi+Israel government pushing their agenda on the ME. This is a political war using religion, specifically wahabism as a catalyst.
Who wouldn't trust a terrorist, right? Re-read the article - everything ISIS did was pre-planned. As a matter of fact, their are even articles showing the similarities between what ISIS did in Iraq/Syria and what Serbians did in Bosnia.
To take it further, Yazdis have been living in Iraq well before the advent of Islam. Before ISIS in 2014, how come no one was mass-killing and mass-raping them? Were there no Muslims in Iraq prior to ISIS?
ISIS is a wahabi and salafi scourge - they have nothing to do with Islam much like the Khawarij.
It is often with disagreement that we learn more than conformity.
    Kudos brother.

I asked in a respectful manner to not mention my parents under any circumstance. I find that extremely disrespectful and upsetting, especially after i asked nicely. Im not asking you to become gay, i asked you to not mention them. Is that also too much to ask for? Or maybe it does not matter because i am an apostate

Look, first of all, i have no intention of of mocking islam. My closest family are all muslim, no exceptions.
i have already admitted i was wrong 1000 times
-same sex parents are in fact harmful to society
-to a degree, homosexuality isnt so different to incest
literally the only issue i disagreed on was the sistani fatva, but not every single muslim likes sistani
so all in all, islam was right, and i was wrong. Therefore i have mocked and embarassed myself, not Islam

i am an “apostate”but i think i can answer this. A lot of muslims say that having homosexual FEELINGS is okay, so long as they are not acted upon

Heres an opinion I have. Some might disagree.

i think that, with Christianity, well first and foremost, any religion can be hijacked and used to promote violence. And I think the condition and mental state of people who practice religion are going to be responsible for how that religion is lived out. I think if a Christian nation were torn apart in civil war, there would be some ugly Christian acts that would follow like the formation of a Christian Isis. Iraq and Syria have been plagued with war for hundreds if not thousands of years and I think by coincidence they happen to be Muslim nations, so we have the formation of violent Muslim groups.
    however,
i think that Jesus stands for love in that, even when being taken to the cross he acted to heal his enemies, and some of his last words called on the forgiveness of mankind. Even as they killed him.
and I'm not sure that Sunni Islam emphasizes love like this, so it might be easier to manipulate, theologically, toward a more aggressive position.
shia Islam is a bit different though because historical figures like Imam Ali are viewed more as the oppressed than the oppressors, and so I think Shia Muslims tend to take on a more defensive position or theology, or one that resists oppression. So we find what appears to be less violence I'm Shia Islam than Sunni Islam, even in hurt nations.
So the question came up about why it's Islam that is affected, i think Sunnis would be more susceptible, theologically, to becoming aggressively manipulated than a Shia or Christian would.

But really, 99.999% of people just want peace, love and happiness for all, regardless of religion, in my opinion. It's unfortunate what's going on in the world despite this.

It's me hello reacted to iCambrian in Confused about my Beliefs.
I think this is common for Muslims (assuming you are Muslim). Muslims I'm the us or the west I think have unique experiences and challenges with respect to developing a personal identity. Some of it's related to cultural clashes, some might be political, some even ethical.
id say it's good to just stay honest with yourself and others, don't feel bad, and don't be afraid to just say, that some things  you are in the process of figuring out and may not have a clear position on.
